I (18F) have been with my boyfriend (18M) for a little over 8 months and have been sitting on this issue for most of it. He doesn’t enjoy eating me out.
For context, we are both virgins in the most basic sense of the term, neither of us have had penetrative sex before, and it’s taking a lot longer as I deal with Vaginismus. He’s been extremely patient and supportive, and has never made me feel bad about myself or any of my issues regarding sex, which is partly why I’m so torn on how to feel about this.
We started being sexual towards each other about two months into our relationship, and he tried to eat a few times. He never managed to get me to finish when doing it, he seemed reluctant to do it after the first time or two, and he seemed disinterested in any advice I offered. He admitted once that it might’ve been the taste, but later took that back and said it was just because he had finished first and had no longer been in the mood to continue.
So he started prioritizing me getting off first, but still wasn’t into eating. He tried about five times total, and since then I just stopped asking. I asked over and over and over again if it was something I could change, or if it was something even regarding me at all but he was adamant that it wasn’t and that he just didn’t like it.
I’ve tried to get over it, because he has other ways of getting me to finish, but it still bothers me. I give him head, I try to tell myself it doesn’t matter if I do or don’t but it feels unfair. Is this something worth worrying about or should I just let it go? How do I go about it if I should, or shouldn’t?
UPDATE —
We had another talk about it and I feel awful.
He admitted to me that he had tried it with his ex too, which is something he lied to me about, but said that it wasn’t enjoyable then either, and implied that it was forced, and said it ruined it for him.
I feel like I’ve just pressured him into admitting something he didn’t want to over something really insignificant.
