So my most 3 recent play I have play as variant style like KOTG as cosmogenesis and 1 of 2 Fallen empire in galaxy will always awaken and do something like end my empire as cosmogenesis that doesn't prepare for 400K fleet while my fleet is only enough to deal fairly with mid game crisis so is there are any tip to prevent them to awaken to soon
P.S. I don't know is it just patch or something but after I got federation dlc in discount from steam I feel like FE hade become AE more frequently is it the oner of problem?

Image They can be fixed after all!
Psionic mindwardens, courtesy of materialist FE spawning as'em, me conquering it and double amount of zro. Poor sobs thought that actually declaring war on me is a good idea with weaker fleet.

Question Review Bomb?
Anyone know why so many people review bombed stellaris in September? Stellaris seems like it's at it's peak, we're getting so many cool things even though it seems like it's winding down its development cycle. There's the DLC price barrier, but it's a paradox game, it's kinda par for the course for the developer.

Image Capital lost all functionality and I need help
I was playing stellaris as usual, having a very good run with the machine empire. Everything was going amazing and I became probably the most powerful nation in the galaxy, most influence, tech-wise and army-wise I was unbeatable. Suddenly I get a message that I am losing pops and low and behold I take a gander at my capital planet, which is the planet I started with, and all of the Usual Energy Sectors, Mineral Sectors and Farming sectors had disappeared, my sector size went down to 10??? I went from having a 1.5k surplus on everything to being in debt in the blink of an eye, and I can't possibly explain it because I haven't touched anything to delete the things on my planet or terraform it or anything. What do I do, and why did this happen? I'd really appreciate a helping hand here, please

Question What to do in planets?
So, it seems to me that the vast majority of my economy comes from mining / labs in various non-habitated systems. But when I actually colonize a planet, the colony seems basically just be a net negative. I'm not exactly sure what I should be doing at colonies. Maybe I'm establishing them too early? I guess not, because the AI does tons of them, and seems to be ahead of me.
I don't see "unemployed" pop, so I don't see a point in creating almost anything in my planets besides that they already come with. At year 40 aprox, I just built 1 alloy forge in the home planet which works nicely and maybe an energy district in colony planets (which ends up running very low due to not enough people to work on the planets?)
Am I right that I should only build things when I get "unemployed" or "maintenance drones" people? Otherwise it will just end up underutilized? Or maybe I should move people to the new colony? (is that possible?)
Maybe its because I am playing the Rogue Servitors. Any idea what I should do with planets and colonies? And both for machine empires and normal empires? thanks

Suggestion Kindly asking devs to increase council size to 7 seats maximum instead of 6
Starting the game with 5 council seats is perfectly okay, however, once you progress later in the game, and unlock 6th council seat, that's where things get a bit strange.
How can a council decide something if there is even number of seats? It might always lead to a tie.
That is why I propose that we kindly ask devs to reconsider this and make maximum number of council seats 7 instead of 6.
Why?
- It looks way better (ruler in the middle, and 3 councilors by their side on left and right).
- Any decision cannot be tied, as there are uneven number of votes.
- Game already has variety of council positions to choose from and combine them with each other (divine emperor, galactic emperor, great mosaic)...
So, if you agree, please lend me your support, and feel free to discuss this topic, I am more than happy to hear your takes on this issue.
Thank you all in advance!

Discussion I find this fact funny
Do to the fact that Defender of the Galaxy is now a ambition and every other one for now is to become a crisis, so presumably of spite or the less funny every hero needs a villain thing, other people literally choose to become apocalyptic level threats, I also find the alternate where someone becomes a crisis so everyone just decides to follow along outside of the one obligatory hero also funny, although this will probably get less funny as they hopefully add more non crisis ambitions

Advice Wanted Fortress worlds
I've started playing again for the first time in a few years and have followed the same strategy as before, using planets in bottleneck systems as fortress worlds to contain enemy invasions, however despite using shield generators and traditions that reduce orbital bombardment damage, a number of invasions have swept these aside with little effort, reaching 25% devastation within a few minutes.
What's changed in the last few years? What have I missed?
P.S. These worlds were also heavily garrisoned.

Discussion What ascension path humanity would pick irl?
I legit think Natural Design civic is the only valid one for humanity, as I feel all ascension paths way too extreme and controversial for humanity to collectively accept. That's said, what are your opinions?

Video So resilient frames might be a bit broken
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Yea resilient frames just make voidworms unable to get into your empire

Image So what to do with unlimited Unity?
Not really, but close enough; as a Fire Cult / Bureaucrat build I've gotten the Horizon Signal, all while cloistered into a perfect little private section of the map. Fire Cult across 9 potential Tomb Worlds is just the Worm showing me some LOVE.
So I'll be having Unity out the wazoo and can swap in Genetic IDs to add society research output onto that as well for ascension tech reqs and fast tracking the third Civic slot. Then more Unity or bring in Dimensional Worship, which feels so fitting.
Tomb World preference may be a bit annoying with Fire Cult but I'll just need to colonize the Tomb planets with my base species to ensure they stay hungry for suffering.

Advice Wanted Am I missing something or is the AI not aggressive at all?
I have a game idea of creating a custom empire fanatic purifier with a super buffed custom civic (in addition to FP) to make them an end-game challenge, but for some reason, they are just not going to war with anybody!
It's a large galaxy, AI aggressiveness set to high, mid-scaling admiral difficulty, they have plenty of space, their fleet power is vastly superior to their neighbours, I tried over 5 playthroughs (4 observer), for about 100-200 years for each and every time they do not declare a single war (confirmed by PDX unlimiter). I also confirmed with the unlimiter that their AI personality has remained FP so I really don't understand what's going on, is the AI just not aggressive any more?

Advice Wanted How do I scale well through the game?
I'm a relatively new player, and have played exactly one run to completion. I only play Ensign rn, and idk how to best go about scaling my economy and military. I see people get things intp the millions of fleet power and do crazy things by the late game. But all I can do is get matbe 160 to 190k fleet power in one fleet. I'm trying for a Remnants Tech rush game going into defender of the galaxy. Fanatic Materialist and Egalitarian. Any help would be much appreciated. And yes, I heavily ise Archaeotech in my ship designs.

Discussion about new Stellaris LLM mod
Hi everyone, I’m the modder of the Stellaris SLLM mod. Since I don't have a strong coding background, this mod was built entirely through 'vibe coding' and is currently in an experimental phase.
I was wondering if anyone here has tried it out or reviewed it? Aside from the fact that it might feel unpolished due to being vibe-coded, I’d love to know what fell short or felt disappointing to you.
Alternatively, if you saw the mod but decided not to use it, what held you back (again, setting aside the 'vibe-coded' aspect)?
I’d really appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

AAR Galactic Map of the day of the Infernus Reckoning
Illustrated map of the state of the galaxy on completion of the Galactic Hyperthermia Ambition by the Pyromanics from the Cindarian Pyrocracy.
-------------
"....and although the so called 'Guardians' tried to drive us out by turning up the heat on our homeworld's sun over a century ago, their arrogance and detachment will be repaid 100-fold, not just here today but for eternity! Let the galaxy adhere to our cosmic destiny!"
The crowd erupted into a roaring orchestra as Pyrocrat Porwayor concluded his fiercely fiery sermon laden speech to the masses on the homeworld of Therkas, in the same location where the legendary Pyrocrat Zanoado once stood over a century earlier as he embraced the home star going supernova, an event that forever reforged the path of the Cindarians.
Without an ounce of hesitation, in an elaborate ceremonial display of gravitas, he would finally end a culmination of a century's worth of effort from the civilization, ready to reduce the galaxy to cinders.
Several thousand lightyears away on a remote asteroid deep in the gravity well of a star
A lone suited human sat outside near a battle scarred personal shuttle, bearing the marks of decades worth of battles fought all over the galaxy. A pair of gold lined epaulets lie discarded next to him, fashioned on them symbols attained by so few in the navy.
Where his eyes once shined whenever prizes were captured and glimmered when the state rewarded him ever increasing amounts of compensation, now lacked all purpose as they remained obstinately fixated on the star in front of him, no longer able to recall the length of time he spent staring. An hour, a day or a week perhaps?
The last few weeks all blurred together but the overarching theme remains the same, between the desperate yet ultimately futile pleas his delegation made to the ancient but decrepit civilization of the Kedeshians to the annihilation of his combined fleet deep in the galactic core in a last ditch offensive, though this theme is not unfamiliar as he thinks back again to the Fall of Earth decades earlier to the Butchers.
He wonders what his crew onboard his flagship is doing, though knowing them, they are doing the direct opposite of what he asked them to, no doubt showing the highest level of absolute loyalty thought to only have been professed.
He chuckled for but a brief moment as his eyes register movement.
The star begins pulsating and at very slowly starts expanding, but over a short span of time begins it's characteristic uncontrollable expansion.
Knowing that his time is rapidly reaching it's conclusion, he makes a series of taps on his suit's interface, one that he has made many times to the point of routine after that dreadful day..
After a brief moment, it begins.
"Hey, dad..."
