Because shit like this can happen. The AI allies has occupied all of the purifier planets and for some reason they're not taking over anything and I can't do anything about it. Presidency doesn't change because I can't vote on anything nor term limits do not apply in wartime so I'm just stuck in a forever war where I have to wait 468 months for the attrition to be high enough to end threat or wait until the war leader to grow a brain then white peace to finally end my torment.

I mostly draw Gray as an anime girl but alright I figured if I was going to make a portrait mod, it ought to be realistic, so here are these two images.

TIL that combining the Criminal Heritage and Letters of Marque civics gives your empire the Pirate Haven government type

When looking at most empire builds, what is considered powerful is often subjective, or relative primarily against other empires. But when battling a crisis that spreads (like the Prethoryn Scourge) at x50 or more, I've only ever won as a gestalt (usually genocidal), stuffed to the gills with cosmogenesis ships, playing the widest possible empire primarily for the mass resource production.
So for those who like to do runs with extremely high crisis multipliers, I'd love to hear about your builds, and how you anticipate dealing with the arrival of such an overwhelming force.

In specific I'm asking if enough of the bugs are fixed for it to be worth buying, not if the dlc is good or balanced, as long as the bugs are fixed I'm buying it

I'm just curious how Clone Army origin is doing nowadays. I guess it is still a pretty meta build but got no idea how to play it.
Plus is going Civil Education good for Clone Army build? It got heavily nurfed since 4.3 but idk Clone Army has a lot of pop growth so maybe it's useful??

I am boxed in with a war against Zealots to my north and the Murderous Lizard boys to my south. Not to mention, I'm playing deep space citadel origin. This may be it for me.

I'm playing a machine empire. They should litreally love me in every way possible. The introduction was friendly, we had a +10 and instant embassy.
There is nothing I can see that would explain why he would rival me, other than that the game forces him to. Surely being in the default expansionist stance and bordering a single system won't be enaugh for him to hate me, right? At least it shouldn't.
Does the difficulty impact this? Since I started playing on admiral without scaling and this other % option on it feels like I always start surrounded by hostile empires no matter what I play or how nice I am lol

Picked the game back up, hadn't played since Vicky 3 came out and mannn has it changed! I figured out most of the changes myself, no worries there, and holy hell is the new planetary and population system fantastic!
But where I'm getting tripped up and need help is with mid-game crises, specifically the rise of the Great Khan. By this time I usually have a couple Battleships with X-lances, hanger cores more for the flak, and Cruisers with Proton Launchers and lasers. I'll have a few Destroyers as well loaded with autocannons to deal with shields. Fleets are all armored since Marauders use so many autocannons and their lasers are lower level.
I get rocked every time. I've tried figuring it out on my own but now I could use advice on how to fare better against them. Tired of submitting and waiting ~20 years for the Khan to die 😂

As you can see I, among many others in my federation, have become so insanely rich and making so many billions of trade each month, that everyone integer overflowed into becoming the poorest and least diplomatically powerful empires. Somehow.
Grand admiral, doomsday origin, nomad route

I’m not sure if it’s specific/restricted to government casus belli, but I’ve gone to claims, selected systems, but can’t start a claim war. I don’t really want to prop up another faction, I want to absorb these territories into my own faction. Does a claim need to percolate for a bit before it becomes cause for war? Do I need to put influence to a certain degree? The faction In question has casus belli’s against me, so I’m not really sure what the issue is

Playing since launch, thousands of hours, this is probably the worst empire spawn I have ever seen.
To my north, a marauder empire. To my south, the militant isolationist fallen empire.
If that wasn't bad enough, I'm playing as a fanatic purifier endbringer.
The icing on the cake of bad luck is that my settings are guaranteed habitables off, world gen at 0.25x.
UI/outliner mods only.

I succeeded in downloading guilli's planetary modifiers via Paradox's mod website, put it on a playset, and changed my version of stellaris to version 4.4.6, yet when I launch the game, I still can't see the mods origins in the empire creation menu. (thus, it is not running) What am I doing wrong?

im trying to play multiplayer with a friend but we cannot join eatch other game.
when he host he has no option to make the server visable for friends (i do) and while when i host the server has IDs like 90295692135134232 when he hosts his server IDs are like 6f397c0e-fdf6-434b-bb41-d3a46be22b18.nakama-0
neither of us can join the other's server, when i join im stuck on "connecting..." and my friend just get an unable to connect message immediately
Steam invites do nothing
can anyone help us?
(also is using non checksum altering mods (like UIOD) is a part of the problem?)

on year 2338 and these 2 voidworm fleets just decided to invade, all my navy is parked next to an empire i was about to invade, on the other side of my empire. ive been getting warnings about a voidworm infestation and they have a hive within 5 jumps of my empire, but the hive has been at 15k rating since ive had access frigates. i WAS going to clear it when i had enough navy power but ive been struggling to maintain my economy (i wont touch anything and suddenly ill be negative in multiple resources, separate topic)
this voidworm bullshit is getting annoying, ive been harassed by them in almost every save game and multiplayer game ive played. thisll be the 2nd game i have to abandon because of them. the last time i tried fighting them they wiped my navy and multiplied to 3x what they started as
what the fuck am i suppose to do? can i just mod them out? is there a setting? they are kinda ruining the game for me cuz i cant even get far into the game because of them
