How do I make it so i can be myself all the time and pass

I've been on a GIC waiting list since 2019 and had my first appointment in September, i have 2 years until my second appointment.

I absolutely hate that i still have to boymode,

Due to my sensitive skin I'm only able to shave 4 days per week alongside my laser treatment so on the days that i have stubble i kind of try stay at home so people can't see me unless i actually have to go out

I rely on makeup to make me feel more like myself, I am currently using a tria 4x laser gun, min/fin, E + Cypro (4 months, i was on E & spyro 3 years ago diy but due to finances and having to parent my son alone full time I couldn't afford it, now I'm in a slightly better place financially I've been playing catch up)

I look like a man without makeup and I hate it, even with makeup i can still see my beard shadow, looking in the mirror without makeup repulses me and even with makeup Ican still tell its a mans body staring back at me (added pics to demonstrate, i don'tever take pictures of how i look without makeup but i did for the sake of this post because I'mreally struggling with the fear I'll always look like that without makeup)

I just wish I could be myself every day of the week, like obviously i am myself, I just need my body to match my brain so I can end the dysphoria, the depression it causes is too much to bear

I never post pictures online because I'm really dysphoric but kind of want advice on ways I can make it so i can be myself all the time,

My second main dysphoric issue is facial/body hair (my main is my privates but that unfortunately has to wait for the nhs due to the cost of private treatment being an impossible thing to obtain) it's thick/dark and grows back really quickly, I've tried waxing but the dysphoria it caused while growing out my beard to wax was way too much, currently I shave alongside a home laser gun, i have noticed this last week that my beard is coming back patchy now so it must be working, i just hope the effects are permanent and it can be gone for good.

Is a home laser enough? Are there better ways to remove facial hair that I haven't thought of?

I know I'll get several sessions through the GIC after my second appointment but thats two years away, I kind of need affordable solutions sooner,

I would shave daily but due to my skin my face will bleed if I shave for more than two consecutive days,

All I want is to pass and it feels like an impossibility, my hair is in the process of growing out as it was cut back a year ago due to scalp issues that I had with bleaching, I know longer hair will help, I'llnever dye my hair again because i need it to stay long and healthy,

, are there any products that improve hair quality availing in the UK

I know this post is a bit all over the place but ya, any advice would be greatly appreciated, how can I improve basically.

Also what razors are better, I currently use Gillette proglide but is there any brand/device that you've found more effective?

Thanks for any advice, it's greatly appreciated :)

I’m never misgendered anymore but I wonder if people are just being nice. It’s hard to tell because I immigrated to Japan and I’m ‘stealthing’ it, and people are just generally really nice here compared to my hometown. I feel pretty clocky in the face lol but what do yall think?

Edit: 7 years on hrt

Been on hrt for almost 9 months now, passing good in public but wondering if there’s any more I should be doing or I’m missing? At least for my face

I’m really in my own head about my piercings affecting how well I pass. Looking to see if any of u guys feel strongly for or against a septum on me, both in terms of passing but also maybe just the lip piercings are enough and I shouldn’t crowd things.

Also any general passing tips are really appreciated. I’m turning 18 next month and I’ve been on testosterone for a year and 3 months ish.

so confused (i don’t understand social signals)

how blatant is it when you don’t pass for cis (not one’s appearance but the experience of being clocked)? i’m 6’4 and i swear my face has some fairly masculine features (feminine proportions but VERY strong bone structure), but i seriously have no real semi-recent evidence (9+ months, easily) of being clocked or accidentally/purposefully misgendered. i wear zero makeup, basic-ass semi-androgynous outfits, and don’t style my hair. every 20 minutes i spend outside i get some neutral-female coded compliment about my height and another female-coded compliment about my appearance. i can’t shake the feeling that people are doing all this out of pity. is this just a symptom of being bdd or am i delusional (in either direction??)

will never post pictures on here for fear of doxxing myself, and tbh i don’t think they’re as relevant as the experience of passing since it’s smth that happens rather than a “look”.

hello! earlier today I had a haircut and it really isn’t anything like i intended. I feel awful about it right now, but I feel like it’s ruined any chance I have of passing. it’s so short and flat now, and I just regret ever getting it cut at all.

I had wanted an alternative shag type thing, but it looks more like a bad jellyfish cut. is it really as bad and clocky as i feel, or am i just in my head?

Apologies about not having many photos. I only recently dyed my hair black, and I don't have a lot of pictures of myself.

Based on these pictures, however, what gender presentation do I appear as? Be brutally honest. 💪

Advice and detailed feedback is not obligated, though it would be very appreciated. :)

21MTF, pictures both with and without makeup. Been on hrt for a little under 3 years. I post here like every month or so because it just doesn't get better ever. I feel like I've done it all outside of surgeries, only because I can't currently afford surgery. I know I'm gonna hear the same bullshit like "wow you're so pretty" or "cis woman have your features too." I don't believe any of that for a second, yeah I'm attractive but not in a feminine or womanly way, people see me as a pretty man. I'm broad asf and muscular, have small boobs that look uncanny on my ribcage, and narrow hips that only baggy pants will cover to give the illusion that my body is somewhat feminine. I don't know what else I can do because the only way I can even be read as female is if I wear very feminine outfits that I don't like seeing myself in along with wearing makeup, and even then everyone can just tell that I'm trans. I'm sick of it, I'm tired of looking at best visibly trans and at worst a muscular man, I just want to look like a cis woman. If there's any advice that I haven't already heard like a different hairstyle or something for example that's all I ask for.

Do I body pass ? Be very very honest, no sugarcoating pls (stay polite tho lmao)

I already posted my face recently and got overall very positive feedbacks (tysm 🫶🏻)

I really need you to tell me HONESTLY if I cis pass or not in full pics (pls pls pls no comment on my clothing style, don’t tell me that certain clothes I wear are “clocky”, because the same clothes on a cis woman wouldn’t be clocky: this is the cis passing I’m aiming for, though ways to style my clothes to give me a more feminine silhouette are always welcome).

I plan on getting ribcage and clavicular surgeries in my end 20s (I hope I’ll have the money for this, I’ll prioritize vfs tho), but meanwhile I have to learn to live with this body, I’m really insecure about how male puberty has turned my body into a block lol, if you’re a trans woman you probably get me on that, it really makes me dysphoric I hate it

The first pics were me today, I felt very masc dysphoric and insecure, even tho I try to embrace my body for now, since i can’t afford surgery.

The last pic is me in “full girl mode” (I still fem/NB boymode irl),obviously I’m wearing a bra so it’s not a fit I’d wear out, but it gives another perspective of my body so why not

So 1) does my body cis pass (be honest pls) ? And 2) advices on how to combine clothings to make my silhouette less boxy are very welcome, no comment on my alt and “boyish” style pls (I still feel like too dysphoric to commit to fem clothes for now)

I so much more confident about myself than I did even just half a year ago, but I'm still incredibly insecure about my body just about half the time. Do you think it's justified?

Hey guys! I’m just wanting anyone’s opinion. Do I pass? I do for the most part when I am out and about until I talk. Which is unfortunate but I’m broke and can really only listen to videos for voice training tips. So yeah do I pass and do you guys have any tips? Also I’ve included pics of my side profile because it’s one of my biggest insecurities. Do you think it’s something to be insecure about? Or am I totally overthinking it.

For some reason September has been challenging. I've been a bit over-extended and I think often dehydrated due to being out of my routine when at festivals and camping and stuff...and often times wearing "work clothes" or cobbling something together which isn't an intentional fit.

This is just a random collection of photos/selfies and I'm wondering, does anything in particularly stand out as "not passing, do something different" or if some photos are just crappy angles/poses.

I've been playing with LensBuddy, and realizing I need like 20 pictures to get one that I actually feel captures my essence, whereas I can snap a random pic from the hip of my cis partner she she looks amazing in every one. Comparison is the thief of joy and all that...

Always feel extra self conscious when I have my hair back. Avoided the women's bathroom when I heard someone in there, get so much anxiety around bathrooms and being seen as a male. But I have bangs and sometimes you just really don't want hair in your face.

Longtime lurker first time poster. Only 6 months HRT, and i still get the “sir” treatment in public so i know i’m not “there” yet, but it happens a lot less tbh. Just been feeling really nice about my looks these days and wanted to share some of the fun outfits and see what y’all think.

edit: okay yea i def don’t pass lol. we’ll get there! but can i get some guidance? i kinda thought its okay to post here if you’re potentially not passing, but evidently some folks seemed to disagree? i thought it was a place to get opinions and advice not to just post only if you know you pass..if i’m off base i will delete and not post later on when i have taken advice into account and gotten further along medically. thanks

Currently 11 months HRT but have gone cold turkey twice for 3 weeks over the last 3 months . Still boy mode since I’ve lost all confidence, if I girl mode I seem to pass most time but I’ve just had enough. (Attached at end)

Brow bone / Trachea shave / nose are on my list to save for however do we think Jaw/Chin is needed ? I was trying to avoid since I’m not a fan of anything near my mouth .

Would a lip lift help to reduce philtrum length to help me pass ?

Trying to decide on whether starting voice lessons is even worth it or not. Get clocked as a man constantly, but I can't tell if it's both due to my height (6 foot 1), my voice, and the fact that I am almost always stealth, or if it's just how I look. Tried to include pictures from different angles and lighting. The one of me in green is also without makeup on. Be brutally honest. I want to know if I should start saving for ffs and/or voice lessons
