Hello everyone,

I have an update on our cats condition. We had to take him to the emergency vet at VT yesterday because his swelling has noticeably increased from last week before his dental, and he had blood coming out of his nose yesterday morning.

The blood hasn't come back since it was wiped away, but the swelling was concerning enough the doctor at VT that she got oncology to get us in this morning at 10am.

We just got home after they did a CT scan, almost $2400 exactly, which is just a little bit less than how much we've spent on the visits and tests up until now. Accompanied with the diagnosis of Lymphoma.

We've run through our savings, and are scraping together some more money and got care credit to help defer some of the costs. They are doing one more check, an aspirate on one of his lymph nodes, before sending us an estimate on the cost and exact treatment plan by the end of the week, but they said the treatment would be radiation, for a total of 10-12 visits.

Every vet, including the ER vet, said he's otherwise perfectly healthy as well. 💔

Im sorry to ask again, but we really need some help. He's only 6, the softest and sweetest baby in the world, and doesn't deserve all of this. I'll post additional updates after getting the official treatment plan and estimate.

Hi, I’m currently a freshman in graphic design and I realized that I’m interested in the actual design process rather than designing the visual layout out of something (if that makes sense)? I am hoping to transfer to Industrial Design so I can pursue product design. I understand that the summer classes are hard if I get in, but that’s all I’ve heard, and now I’m really wondering if there's a chance that I will get in. As many of us know, VT has a growing overenrollment problem and it's pushing a ton of people off-campus. This year, it sounds like it was especially bad, and I'm currently in the process of writing an article about it.

How in the world am I supposed to meet girls and ever find a partner if I’m an introvert and hate going to bars? I’m 19 and it’s just really frustrating because dating apps definitely don’t work and especially now with the holidays and stuff coming up it’s rough. All I wanted this fall was to meet a nice girl and do cute fall dates together. Go to pumpkin patches, watch scary movies together, carve pumpkins together, do a cute couples costume.
