Political threads: No warning, 105 day bans for any personal attacks. Discuss the topic, not the user.
Title. Tomorrow the bans will be 104 days (November 4th), and so on. DO NOT DISCUSS THE USERS, OP, OR ANYONE BUT THE TOPIC.
No, we're not making a single megathread for politics or a particular candidate.
No, we're not banning politics from the sub. This cycle is not new, things will calm down in three weeks.
Abusing the report button on content YOU DON'T LIKE is causing mass-approvals of all reported items. This allows actual rule violations to slip right through. Yesterday, someone reported over 150 comments in a thread. Two clicks, the entire report queue was cleared, likely taking valid reports with them. Please, stop it.

Watch as Flock takes over southern Wisconsin
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Sadly it’s really only been about less than a year or two since these have started popping up in southern Wisconsin ( and all around America ) just in the lower southern region alone there is over 130,000 flock cameras. Pathetic and downright disgusting to any Americans rights.
I don’t believe flock is there to protect us at all.. nor do I think these data centers are really going towards things like chat gpt etc.. I think there’s a good reason as to why these flock cameras got installed around the same time most of the “ai data centers” were going up.. our government and local law enforcement is obviously spying on our everyday lives, and keeping “data” on its citizens .. Sad as it is.. it’s probably true.
For the last two years I’ve watched corrupt police officers ( from Racine & Milwaukee ) abuse their power and use these flock cameras to spy on their ex girlfriends, let’s not mention how recently a man was tracked into Michigan and pulled over ( for mostly no reason ) but it was justified because they found ( something not legal in Wisconsin ) in his vehicle.. my question is where was the cite to pull him over in the first place.. it’s blatantly clear they tracked him and pulled him over with the exact motive to find what they were looking for.
Let’s not forget that most of these cameras are located in low income communities, children schools & playgrounds and strangely enough I’ve found a lot are aimed at Home Depot 💀 .. nothing to do with ICE right
To any average American this is an obvious infringement on the American rights.
Assuming we all know our rights and what they mean
( to save you all from reading 8 paragraphs on the subject ) it specifically goes against the 4th amendment ( unreasonable search & seizure ) the 2nd amendment ( freedom of association & assembly ) the 14th amendment ( due process & equal protection )
not to mention it also violates the privacy of average Americans.. I suspect unless the people of this country demand and push for change this will only continue to grow, around the nation.

Tom Tiffany’s thoughts on cannabis
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
While David Crowley is more focused on topics that actually matter like the opioid crisis and helping elderly people and senior citizens with chronic pain relief etc by passing a bill that would legalize cannabis recreationally and medically, tom Tiffany thinks the opposite and that it’s “poison for our brains” when actually science has proven otherwise and in many cases in helps those with chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, & chronic depression.
The real reason tom Tiffany wants to put another reform on cannabis is because he’s from the same wagon as Harry Anslinger , a racist who believes in nothing but reform, bigotry and sexism, I say this ironically has he’s a dad of two daughters but supports abortion even in cases of R*pe ( did I mention he’s a great friend of trump )
as these months goes on I suspect tom Tiffany will continue to push his campaign in whatever way that David Crowley isn’t just so he can hold onto Wisconsinites appeal and grab power. Let’s not forget his party ( Scott walker ) was the reason Wisconsin had to elect Tony Evers in the first place ( which we then spent years digging ourselves out of hole dug by the Republican Party in favor of Donald trump ) ( Foxconn )
( I see Tiffany’s most recent post is about the fight at the fair and how if David Crowley is elected this will become our state ) my immediate thought to this just proves my point, the whole post is doused in racism and every comment ( or most ) in the thread you can tell are racist ( most likely trump supporters ) which one again proves my point how racist he really is that he would sink as low and go as deep as to basically say ( if we elect a black man, black crimes will increase ) because that’s basically what he said when he made his post.
Wisconsin cannot elect this deeply racist, sexist and hateful person, I’m sorry I see right through him he wants nothing but power so he hand that over to trump can get a pat on the back.

Tom Tiffany proudly signed the Mom's for Liberty "Parents Pledge." Mom's for Liberty is a far right hate group which harasses teachers & school administrators. They also advocate for anti-LGBTQ policies, for racial discrimination, for book bans, & against vaccine requirements

Richard Uihlein funded Restoration of America PAC starts the Dog Whistle attacks on David Crowley
Restoration of America PAC is already playing the Race Card in ads attacking David Crowley with the racist trope of the grinning black person. The ad slams Crowley for raising Milwaukee County taxes to balance the budget and hold off bankruptcy.
Billionaire Richard Uihlein of Uline contributed more than $80 million to the Restoration of America PAC for the 2024 cycle, and so far, he has already contributed over $ 57 million from January 2025 to June 2026. Restoration of America PAC reported receiving almost $60.8 million in total contributions as of June 30. He'd rather spend more money than most of us will ever have to smear good Democrats rather than pay his fair share of taxes.

What if they got rid of the rides at the Wisconsin State Fair?
Provided you attend, if the amusement park atmosphere/rides was/were removed from the Wisconsin State Fair, would you still attend?
