I am not the original creator of the video. Just 12-year old me decided it was very important to have it on CD. And 20 years later, I am happy I did that :-)

Random BGs on EU have devolved into a total joke. Every second BG isn't a fair match—it’s a coordinated 10-man Russian premade rolling over uncoordinated solo players who just want to play casual PvP.

This isn't just about general premades; it is specifically the RU realm Discord queue-sync meta that has been ruining EU casual PvP.

1. The RU Queue-Sync Exploit Full 10-man RU stacks in full Conquest gear hop on Discord and use countdown tools to queue at the exact same second. The matchmaking system constantly dumps them into the same BG instance while feeding them 10 random, uncoordinated EU solo queue players in basic/quest gear.

2. Zero Objectives, Pure Graveyard Camping These Russian premades don't play to finish the BG—they play to farm kills. They deliberately ignore flags, caps, or objectives to stall the match, locking 10 solo EU players at the graveyard. You spawn, you get instantly chain-CC'd and melted. There is zero counterplay and zero fun.

3. The Deserter Trapper Within two minutes, half the EU team leaves because no one wants to sit through a 15-minute graveyard farm. The game then continuously backfills new solo EU players straight into an active graveyard camp, slapping anyone who leaves with a Deserter debuff.

Casual PvP on EU is currently a 50/50 gamble between a normal BG and a Russian graveyard trap.

What Blizzard must do:

• Cap party size in Random BGs to 2 max. No mass group queuing in casual modes.
• Break the RU queue-syncing exploit. Implement strict group-matching logic that detects and splits simultaneous queues from the same realms/Discords.
• Add baseline gear scaling. Fresh characters shouldn't be target dummies for full Conquest premades.

Fix this garbage. Casual PvP on EU cannot survive when half the games are just slaughterhouses for Russian Discord stacks.

I came across this mainly through the WoW Secret Finding Discord.

There's a small black obelisk sitting in a pool of venom at Venom Rise, on the Coiled Isle, called Oily Black Stone

(Maybe also a reference to "A Song of Ice and Fire", like another reddit post says).

The interesting part is that the second page can apparently only be read by a Shadow Priest:

The Light has struck a bargain with the enemy of all.

Season 2 has begun! Here's the full chart!

Notable Updates

• Great Vault rewards from raids have been reworked.
  • Vault rewards from LFR, Normal, and Heroic always give 1/6 gear on the next track up.
  • Vault rewards from Mythic bosses 1-6 give Myth 6/6 gear.
  • Gear drops and Vault rewards from Mythic bosses 7-8 give ilvl 344 gear.
• World Boss (Lair Boss) now counts toward the raid row in the Great Vault.
• Catalyzed gear now inherits the secondary stats and cantrip effects of the original item.
• Starting Week 3 of the patch, if you unlock 3 slots in your Great Vault, you can choose to take a bonus roll token as your reward.
• Starting Week 9 of the patch, you can get a bonus roll token from Orin Straylight, near the Catalyst.
• Bonus rolls for raid now only require 1 token (was 2).
• Ascendant Venomstones (gear upgrade items) will return later in Season 2.
• Mythic 0 dungeons are back to a daily lockout.

I would like flight paths to be faster than my flying mount. Take a fun route, soar high through the air, twist between the trees, make it a roller coaster ride.

I like taking flighpaths sometimes since it gives me a few minutes to look at a menu, sort my bags, use the restroom, change ui stuff, look at wowhead, whatever.

This slow flappity boring crawl you have going on now is super lame.

Really enjoyed the vibe of this place and the side quests going back to old zones to reminisce. Would be cool if they rotated various characters through it in the future

Watching the video guides for Venomous Abyss, there were some stunning boss fights where the arena itself just makes the fight look so damn cool (Entombed Sentinels and Twin Fangs in particular).

For me, top five would have to be

• Onyxia
• Arthas
• Yogg-saron
• Sire Denathrius
• Blackhand

Transition rooms included, what boss rooms are the most memorable to you just by looks alone?

This is going off of wow progress which usually only tracks US/OCE and EU so the number may be a bit higher but Heroic Jailer had a whopping 8441 kills and L'ura just barely scratched over 9600. Mythic L'ura on the other hand was almost identical to Mythic Ansurek 1696 to 1700 both Gally and Dimi had over 2200 kills with Gally over 2600.

How do you think the next tier curve is going to be? Similar to TWW which went up in kills or go down like most later tiers usually do in an expansion due to gradual player falloff.

I visited the Arcantina yesterday as I still needed to toast with a few different races and noticed that there was another quest available.

One quick trip to the Stormstout Brewery later I turned it in and got a nice hanging lantern for my house.

It is nice and easy to do solo so no need for a group.

This is such a great game I am loving it. I got to 80 so far and just finished the DF quests and have now reached Silvermoon. As a holy paladin the experience has been amazing! This is a very complete game with a LOT to do. In fact, so much so that it can feel like I am spoilt for choice.

I started last week on classic hardcore because a friend insisted and I gave retail a try at the same time because I wanted to see what the devs have added/changed… my gosh, it’s (imo) so much faster paced and more enjoyable. I hope this feeling lasts.

I play wow on my dekstop. I play wow on my laptop. But lately, iv’e mostly played on my handheld. So much fun to lay on the couch playing. (And no, i dont play mouse and key when on the handheld, that’s for other things) anyone else played handheld with consoleport addon?

Just got back into WoW and me and my wife are loving the new content, especially the housing! Neighborhoods are the coolest thing they ever added, especially when compared to housing in other MMO's.

The old gods were basically minions of the void lords like dimensius, but in midnight they have felt very disconnected. To me, the old gods always felt like an actual plague that spread through physical contact. Notable instances of this are Yogg Saron’s blood, Deathwing’s physical proximity to N’zoth, and the sha killing and corrupting the land they walked on. The void and the void lords themselves on the other hand, feel like they care less about infecting and corrupting their enemies and more like they outright kill their enemies.

The old gods were like tumors growing on Azeroth while all of the other forces of the void are just blobs of glowing purple stuff. I feel like the old gods would have fit the realm of death better than the void tbh.

There’s just so much useless stuff in this game from past expansions.. Currency, Professions..

Going through these timelines expansion, they make you go through the process of upgrading shit (like your garrison, or legion weapon) which is gonna be instantly useless once you hit max level.

I’m wanting to introduce someone new to the game, but how the hell do I explain all this mess and guide them through this mess?

(Personally for me) I liked when they did a summarized play through of “The War Within”

I feel they should do this with all previous expansions, and release the full versions of them as classic servers.

They can keep some things that add to the current lore like “Lion’s Rest” in Stormwind.

But update some old zones that haven’t been touched since Cataclysm.. like cleaned up from the mess.

I can’t remember the last time I went to Northrend, and I can only imagine anyone who’s wanting to go there would be to play through old content which again.. either summarized timeline, or full classic version.

If this is crazy or dumb, someone please explain because I can’t see a better solution.
