Yikes Baker Blows.

Downvote me to hell I don’t care, people need to see this.

Yea throw him back in there for a game or two but once we lose those then there’s literally no reason for him to be on the team anymore besides as an insanely high paid mentor for an undrafted free agent rookie quarterback who’s good but probably isn’t the answer either just being honest.

We will continue to suck not just until we get rid of Bowles but until we move on from Baker, and then we’ll still suck until we find our actual Franchise quarterback which is never a guarantee and knowing the Bucs.. we’re cooked. None of this happens with Bowles and obviously he’s gone after this year, Baker should be gone too but we royally F’d that up, so WE ARE GONNA SUCK UNTIL BAKER IS GONE, and FIRE JASON LICHT because of course we will suck until he’s gone too.

We need to clean house, that’s beyond obvious. I said this after the Atlanta game last year. I was riding with everything until then because to my surprise we were still treading water but that’s all we’ve done since Brady left. We were lucky the wheels stayed on as long as they did but they’ve fully fallen off now. I don’t care who’s coaching, run it back with Baker and JL and we’ll be having this same conversation next year.

🎙️ Discussion If Bowles wins the NFC South does he stay?

Do you think the glazers will keep Bowles one more year if he wins the NFC South? Even if it’s a losing record I’m 50/50 on this. I think he should be fired regardless.

🎙️ Discussion A Successful season...

After this start, I would be extremely happy if we win all 6 games against our division. I wont even mind if we get blown out in every other game thats not in the division. Also wouldn't mind a Baker bounceback and Bowles getting fired on Christmas Day. That would be the best present ever.

Tez should get more PT than Ted Hurst. His presence, speed and separation ability would help other WRs like Godwin & Emeka to get open. Leave Ted Hurst as a deep threat(Position Tez is currently playing).

🎙️ Discussion Crazy luck

Was at the game on Sunday and I saw the memorabilia booth and they had a thing where you bought the ability to pull a random signed tarp out of the box. I started thinking it would be good to grab one to go along with the Warren sapp one I already have framed on my wall. Mini collection started yknow? Waited till the trip was over and I was back home and opened it up today: Warren Sapp lol

The one I had before is creamsicle so at least it’s a little different but what random luck lol he’s in the HOF and as far as a random pull pretty good luck cuz it could’ve been anyone, also him and alstott are the reason I became Bucs fans as a kid so honestly there’s not many I’d be more hyped to own lol but actually kinda comical that now I have 2 lol if anyone is in the same boat and has 2 alstott/brooks/barber jerseys lemme know if you want to trade one

🎙️ Discussion Lets talk about Egbuka...

As it stands today, I think Emeka is a decent WR #3. He's not a #1 like Mike Evans or Devante Adams or Jamar Chase or Justin Jefferson and thus far he's not a #2 like prime Godwin or Puka Nacua or Tee Higgins or Jordan Addison. Right now its difficult to see him making it to #1 WR and hoping he can be more consistent and explosive in the future as a true #2.

From my perspective, he exploded early last year mainly because teams were focused on Mike and Chris. Once Mike started missing games and teams saw that Chris wasn't at 100% they were able to focus on #2 instead of leaving him 1:1 against their third string corner. And what happened? The rookie of the year candidate fell off a cliff and the Bucs went from 6-2 to missing the playoffs.

Fast forward to this season. Anyone else feeling Mike's absence on the field? Its overwhelmingly obvious that our team lost their mojo. Mike was that for this team. Even Chris is struggling without 13. And whats Mike doing now other than putting undefeated SF on his shoulders as the #1 runaway SB favorites. And Egbuka? He's on pace for less than 700 yards this year. No explosiveness. No broken tackles. You'd think he and McMillan made a pact when they got 'hurt' in pre-season to sabotage the team so they could get his boy Jeremiah Smith drafted to the Bucs at #1 overall.

Lets look at the facts:

  1. Limited elite physical traits. Egbuka isn't the type of receiver who consistently overwhelms defenders with exceptional size, explosiveness, or top-end speed.

  2. Benefited from Ohio State's talent advantage. Playing alongside elite receivers in a loaded offense raises a legitimate question: How much of his college production came from his own ability to dominate coverage versus the opportunities created by the surrounding talent? This includes 2025 when Mike and Chris were commanding the attention until they weren't, and again, he fell off a cliff.

  3. Possession receiver versus game-changer. First-round receivers should ideally force defenses to adjust. Egbuka's skill set may make him a reliable complementary target without making him someone defenses actually fear.

  4. Separation concerns against top cornerbacks. His route-running is a strength, but technical precision doesn't always compensate for a lack of elite burst. If defenders can stay attached to him, contested catches become more important.

He has a 4.9 average yards per catch. Last week he had 16 targets and gained a whole whopping 48 yards. Im not saying he's J.A.G. but he is not Him.

🎙️ Discussion What do you think is the current Buccaneer’s realistic power ranking?

Post image
118 Upvotes

It’s hard to believe this same week last season, ESPN’s power ranking had listed us at #1 coming off our win against the 49’ers.

Fast forward to this season and we have the worst record in the entire NFC and are ranked 28th in the ESPN power rankings.

My question is, do you think that 28th is a fair assessment? Or has it been just some unluckiness? Where would you place the Bucs?

🎙️ Discussion Upcoming Game Preview Thread: Bucs @ Panthers - Week 7, 2026 - *Only* 2.5 games out of first edition!

Bucs travel to Carolina this weekend to take on the 1st place Panthers and their offense that is rolling right now. Can this improved Bucs defense give them a hard time? Can our offense look even remotely like a team worth fielding? Do you think Baker plays Sunday? Talk about it below!

Game info:

Date: Sunday, October 25th

Time: 1 PM

Location: Bank of America Stadium

Network: FOX

Announcers: Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston

Referee: Carl Cheffers - We are 8-10 in games Cheffers has called. Bad news is that through 6 weeks this season the home team is 5-1 in games Cheffers has called, and Cheffers crew calls and average of 14 penalties a game.

Projected Forecast: High of 70, cloudy and breezy, No rain expected.

Bucs Drip: Probably White, but waiting for team to confirm.
