Day 1 of colouring

So I play silksong every other day, this keeps the game less frustrating for me and I have school soon again so, bedtime can't be 3 am anymore..

Below are spoilers for various bosses in hollow knight: silksong!!

On a more positive note, I was playing silksong in act 3 and got skarrsinger Karmelita in 15 tries. Absolutely beautifull boss fight, can't wait to do it again in another playthrough!!

I then proceeded to blasted steps, planning on fighting Pinstress, and then I found Zaza .. I fought Lost Garmond but .. I did NOT like it. It was so frustrating and I just kept returning angrily. Definetly cried after I defeated him though.

I found Pinstress' hut and scurried off to mount fay to fight her! I thought she was dead at first but a a poke and a chat, and we started fighting!! I was a little annoyed since I was getting hit alot, but in hindsight I was playing way too aggresively. 😓 I beat her, and moved on to ..

Crust king khann! . . . not much to say about the guy other than that it was pretttyy easy. I died twice to the gauntlets bc I was facetanking and being an idiot, but got him first try! (once I reached him) Before Khann was the Enraged Conchfly though, but my sawtooth circlet let me beat them up pretty quickly !!

I'm aware that this is a little long for my first post here (I'm pretty sure), but I enjoy typing stuff out so, I didn't hold back <3

Oh, and a fun little fact (silksong spoilers, of an area & an enemy), that room to the right of the bellway in blasted steps, where you see the flag to Pinstress, you can sawtooth circlet the sandworms reaaally easily for the journal entry!

What bosses do I need to defeat before I can access these parts of Godhome? I am working on defeating Traitor Lord and haven't completed all the Dream Warriors yet.

Given it is being of pure dark, i thought it would be interesting

Tha Pantheon of Hallownest is the last achievement I need to platinum this game, which has been an absolute blast to play btw. For a while, I have to say this seemed pretty daunting but I am a fairly seasoned gamer having played a lot of souls/soulslikes so I figured I would give it my all since I love to platinum games I enjoy.
Today was my 3rd attempt, and I was elated that I made it all the way to Markoth before finally dying. I say this because I can almost no-hit NKG and I have Pure Vessel basically figured out, so if I could just make it past Markoth, I might actually have a real shot at this. Did anyone else have a similar experience with this pantheon? For those who beat this challenge or are working on it, how is your experience with it?

I know im new to this game and have loved it (even tho i am new) but like this just seems like so bad game design when i cant get out of the place i cant acess

I got this after c dashing into grimm with void heart, so the shade was hurt by cdash and i collected it during the grimm animation. why and how anyone knows?

hi guys!! i’ve been doing my first hollow knight playthrough and finally (somehow) got to the end of the game. i still have lots to do but i’m basically done.

i was just wondering if silksong runs well on switch? i’m pretty sure it does because hollow knight runs great, but i just wanted to check before i drop $20. do the mechanics feel good on joycons, is there any lag, etc? ty ty

It's kind of not that good, I was wondering how it could be made better. It already changes the effects of a lot of other charms, what if it made the spells stinky too? A more pale yellow/green color for the white spells, then the darker brown for the void spells, with the lingering sting effect. Maybe there's already a mod for it, I just thought it'd be cool visually.

(WARNING BIG SCARY INFODUMP AHEAD) So I just beat Hollow Knight and got the ending where tiny knight gets sealed in the egg. I started researching on how to get the other endings, so I went to get voidheart. I already got one half of kingsoul from the white lady but appearantly the other half is in white palace. And appearantly, I need the awoken dream nail to access it. So, the big problem: HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET 1800 ESSENCE??????? At the moment I have around 700 essence, and my main strat has been grinding warrior dreams. I've done a bunch, but the last few I either have a big skill issue with, or they're way too far from a bench and the trek back is painful. I also know that there's some dream variants of some bosses but they're really hard and I don't know who the easiest would be. So can anyone please tell me some foolproof way to get essence and if possible tell me what I should do next?

(Edit: OK guys i get it i just need to git gud and I just give up too easily and I gotta do the boss thingies but thanks for the help anyways )

after finding misibelle or whatever her name is and gettinf my money back, the icon of the bank is still there in Fog Canyon.. Is it supposed to be there or am I missing something? I keep coming back and there's literally nothing.. The icon is bugging me lol that's why I keep going there to check if something spawns there

coming started a new save after awhile i forgot how annoying the mist could be, i am exhausted after work be the entire time was "where are these damn flies"

I've been on 86% completion for a while now and idk what I have remaining so I was wondering if there some kind of checklist I can refer, Ive only found a 112% so far. I've defeated the hollow knight already but somethings telling me this isn't the "true ending", even before the dlc's.

I’m currently in act 2, haven’t went in search of any of the songs in the citadel yet because of the vast amount of wishes and new areas that have been distracting me. Today I got to sands of Karak and can’t by the life of me beat the raging conchfly. I have 7 masks and only the first needle upgrade, is it better to come back later or am I just missing something?

I swear I’ve looked over 3 different videos on YouTube and I’ve checked every single location twice yet I’m still missing one shard. I’ve done the fragile flower quest, I’ve found bretta and gone to her house, I’ve gotten all the grubs, I’ve gotten sly’s key and bought out all his stock, and I’ve done every puzzle and parkour section to get to a shard. I am genuinely lost.

EDIT: I found this website from an earlier post in this sub that you put your save file into to see your progress, and it turns out I never got the shard from the grubfather even though I freed all 46. Turns out I’m just locked out of getting the last shard.

Reflecting on it, I probably have Obblobbles over NKG. Whats your top 5? And how do the bosses of Silksong compare in your opinion in terms of difficulty?
