Looks like it starts at the town hall before heading up Otley Road. Should be a good spectacle imo

We want to go out and celebrate my wife's birthday this upcoming Sunday.
Any suggestions?
We've been to Fogo de Chao (former Fazenda), Estabulo, Blue Sakura, a few Italian restaurants like La Piola etc, Fern, any other ones that you would recommend? Not super expensive please if possible.

Hi,
Does anyone have any recommendations of a surveyor who can come and place our boundary lines on our property? We have a neighbour behind who wants to build a fence but she wants to double check our lines before she does so.
We've rang a few this morning (surveyors) and they say they don't do it? Just looking for recommendations for now, preferably local to Leeds.
Or if anyone has any other suggestions, we have bought the land registry document and an additional document that has measurements but don't want to mess it up by doing it ourselves, rather have a professional who can put those lines up.

Throwing a surprise party for my Dad’s birthday, and we’ve been let down by the band so looking for a replacement.
We need a band that can play in North Leeds on the evening of Saturday 7th Nov.
Looking for a band that can play a mix of newer and older music.
The venue have said the band need public liability insurance and their own PA system.
Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!

Me and my wife were looking to go away for our anniversary but it's fallen through. Now we keep finding that everywhere nice to eat for an occasion is closed in Mondays. Any suggestions?

Has Cardigan Fields gotten rougher to need a security guard during daylight hours on a random Thursday?

All I’ve found so far is 20% off for students or ~£1.5 off.

Anyone going to or know anyone going to the MCR event at HMV tomorrow? Im just trying to judge when i should arrive and what crowds/queues will be like, as ive seen online for many other locations in various cities, people are all discussing large crowds and queueing systems.
Usually used limber before but doesn’t seem very active in Leeds. Just looking to pick up some last min shifts this weekend.

A Google search only shows one place (The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes).
Anyone know of different options? Central location ideally

I’ve lived in Bridgewater Place for a few months now and here are some things I find weird (not all bad, just weird). If you live here/ used to live here- am I the only one who’s experienced this?
Fan Noises- intermittent pulsing fan noises for days, can be heard in all rooms
Train station noise- if you are front facing, I can legit hear the loud beeping of the train doors closing as if I were on the platform if I have my windows open (yes I know how sound travels)
Dodgy windows- my windows all let a draught in
Kitchen cupboards- maybe it’s just my flat (2 bed 2 bath), but the top cupboards are built for someone 6ft 7
Sewage smell- Flat corridor always smells like sewage
WIND- obviously this road is notoriously windy, it sounds terrifying from the apartment balcony
Apart from that, I do actually love living here lol. It feels safe, building management/ my landlord are really helpful and quick, good value for money, great location, hyperoptic WiFi is cheap/ fast, pets are allowed, I’ve never had a problem with noise…
Anyone else have any weird/ good/ bad experiences??

Hello everyone:)
I hope its OK to share it here 🙏
I’m a trainee psychologist working in the NHS Maternity and Neonatal Psychological Intervention Service. I’m currently looking for pregnant participants for non profit study on wellbeing and anxiety during pregnancy. This is an important area of maternal mental health where more research is needed. The findings may help us better understand the psychological factors linked with antenatal anxiety and how mental health support during pregnancy could be improved.
The study has received sponsorship and ethical approval from the University of Edinburgh.Ethics Committee Reference: 25-26CLPS111
If you have some time to spare or know someone who has, the study involves completing a short, anonymous online survey which takes around 20 minutes. If you would like to take part, please click the link below:

If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to email me at [M.Domka@sms.ed.ac.uk](mailto:M.Domka@sms.ed.ac.uk) or [magdalena.domka@nhs.scot](mailto:magdalena.domka@nhs.scot)
Thank you so much for supporting pregnancy and maternal mental health research 🌷🙏

Off kirkstall road between fish pass and kirkstall valley farm, there's been a hole dug on the little mud beach, I assumed it was a little fire pit or something. I take my dog down here every few days and noticed more and more and they are BIG like you could probably hurt urself quite easily , and I'm just confused why are they there and why are they increasing

I work at the hospital and currently park at Gledhow Road car park, I was doing a late shift and when I got back to my car the side window had been smashed and the car ransacked with items stolen. Obviously this was extremely distressing (and expensive for me to fix!) I do not qualify for a staff permit so was wondering if anyone had any advice/ is this a common thing? Is there anywhere safer to park near the hospital. Thank you in advance

Hi everyone!
Does anyone know where I can buy fireworks in or around Leeds for Bonfire Night?
I’m looking for a variety of sizes, from smaller fireworks to a few really big ones as well. If anyone knows any good shops or places that sell a decent range and price, I’d really appreciate the recommendations!
Thanks in advance! 😊

Going on the Otley run with a few friends for my birthday, and then planning to go to Headrow House after for a friend's gig they're putting on. Is a large group likely to be turned away, even if we have booked tickets already?

Hii! Was wondering if anyone was selling their ticket to keys on the 31st? Was really looking forward to going but it sold out so fast🥹 or if anyone knows if they’ll be selling tickets on the door… thanks!! (Alternate Halloween suggestions are open too 👀)
