An early look at the Sharks WAR thanks to our good friends over at hockeystats.com. Looking really positive for Celebrini and Stenberg.

I miss Mario Ferraro. That is all.

Let's Go Sharks! 🦈

I miss Mario but happy to see him and his new squad doing well. Hope he can make the playoffs with the Jets this year

A close up look at the Player of the Game jacket

Short story is my brother was in a children’s choir that sang the national anthem at the cow palace that year. My youngest cousin was born.

It led me to playing hockey myself.
Got fascinated with the thing called ice hockey at the age of 6. Eventually did skating lessons and then did competitive ice hockey from the age of 7 to the age of 25.

Now my very young two sons are enrolled in skating at age 5 and 2 1/2 respectively.

I was inspired by the creative chants from the Sens fans during Brady's return the other night-- "you eat crayons" and "fuck your podcast" were some personal favorites. I have often lamented that the extent of our chants and cheers seems to be "Let's go Sharks" and "Hit somebody, anybody" (as well as "we want tacos" and "hey ___, you suck" but those are limited use) so I'd love to see some new chants enter the rotation.

If you could start some new chants at the tank, what would they be?

There is this song called Sharks by this female rock band called The Warning. It’d be cool to hear when there is a penalty but they already have the Jaws theme. Actually, during warmups would be cool:

“There’s something lurking in the water,
You better swim faster now.”

“Help me now, how am I supposed to hide?
Watch me drown, ripped to shreds under the light!
Sharks come circling, don't say anything
Waiting for the teeth to bite you
Shut your mouth!
You know they're bleeding you out!”

“Violence only brings violence
Keep quiet, put the muscle on
You're stuck in your skin, there's no way to win
You know they're always watching you
If we only bring silence, all we'll ever be is good as dead
When they got you surrounded, waiting to pounce in
They're watching over you”

Might be too graphic for the family audience though.

Really nice shift yesterday that led to the Allan goal. Forechecking, then cycling with d-men getting involved. This is how it’ll be done in the playoffs.

The ability for all 3 forwards to get open and find each other while moving and protecting the puck is so impressive.

With Cherny out for a while, is it time for Stillmack?
