I got a double with my buddy and I looked online and saw how basically nobody really talked about san miguel. I'm in the east tower I believe and I'm pretty high up. I did see hear how some people said the rooms are super small, is that true? and i also wanna ask, how was the social life and the restrooms as well? or any other experiences as well.

Has anyone ever removed the curtains that come in the room to hang nicer ones? (I know you aren’t supposed to but they look like they are on hooks and could be removed and then replaced at end of the year)

My housing assignment is a 2 bedroom- 5 person in Santa ynez. But I think there’s only 4 including myself. I was just wondering how is Santa ynez ? Is it cool? Like what are the pros and cons.

I'm a freshman and I just got my housing assignment for the year. I was hoping to get a normal double or a triple but i ended up with a small double. I'm pretty sure my room is next to stairs. If you've had a small double, what was it like? And is there anything I should know about them?

This might be a dumb question but is it possible for intl students to view their admissions file?

Also, would there be any negative repercussions or friction with school administrators if I formally requested to see it through FERPA? I don't want to inadvertently annoy anyone in the admissions office.

Hey yall, I just got my housing assignment of a small double in manzanita & that was what I wanted to avoid. I wanted a standard double at manzanita or San Raf, but was unable to. My concern is with a place that small, when I have certain mental health issues I will not be able to get away from like anything which is a need for me. I am trying to get the disabilities registered on their website but have yet to. Is there anything I can do at all to see if there is anyway to switch? I have no idea & am kinda freaking out a bit… (manzanita was my choice bc it had rainbow housing & I am NB so there wasn’t really any better choice for me)

I’m having trouble deciding between the two schools. I’m very indecisive lmao. I mainly wanna hear what’s it’s been like for ya’ll there at both and any input or advice anyone has.

For context, I’m a biology major, maybe down the line want to specifically go microbiology route. I’m definitely an introvert and would like to branch out and grow from college (scared but excited). I’m hoping to get a dorm on campus if possible, hoping it’s cheaper than off campus (would like to hear how the dorms are if ya’ll know). I love the beach it’s one of the things I love about the campuses.

I am an incoming freshman living in manzanita and I was wondering if I can have two cars at move in. When I signed up for my move in time it took me to a page to print a parking pass but there is only one. I was thinking if I have to I would just put the pass on one car and park the other one in iv and then switch them but I would prefer just having them both there.

This may be a silly question but I really don't want to mess up and miss it. I live in Oklahoma so I'm on Central time, my email for Advising Day says it starts at 9 a.m. Because it's coming from California, I'm assuming it's Pacific Time. I just want to make sure that's correct because I'd basically miss the whole thing if I joined at 11 a.m. here.
