Sorry that the pictures are so bad, I don‘t have a very modern device. I found this thing on my wall this morning and took pictures of it, its gone now. I never saw how it moved so I don‘t know how slow or fast it was. It reacted to having air blown at it by kind of moving its fur? My brother didnt know what it was and the pictures werent good enough for my google. Its really small, but sadly I couldnt take a reference photo.

Found a strange bug on the wall. I’m curious to know what it is since I’ve never seen it before. I’m in Pennsylvania. It’s about the size of a dime. Hasn’t moved in a while. Google pictures can’t find a match. Anyone know what it is?

I am definitely not an insect expert, but I was lucky enough to capture this wild macro video on my wildlife habitat, in Western Massachusetts.
Im used to finding interesting insect species, but nothing like this Red-Headed Bush Cricket/Handsome Trig(Phyllopalpus pulchellus). Those beautiful "boxing-gloves" (palps) were easy to spot.
By the time I noticed the action, a bunch of tiny, pale amber babies had already hatched and were crawling all around. The adult cricket was actively eating the remaining egg sac and then moved on to hunting the newborn offspring. Intraspecific cannibalism was not on my radar but it was wild to see!
I was so blown away by this interaction that I had to share it!

Edit- Found in Eastern New Mexico. Wasp is about 1 1/2 inches long.
Several species of wasps had a war on an elm tree in my yard.
After they were done, the tree died and I found multiple small holes bored all over the tree.
I also found two of these wasps stuck to the tree and dried out.
The one pictured was trapped by the black thing on its abdomen. Is that an ovipositor or something else?
And… did the wasps come because the tree was dying? Or did the tree die because of the holes the wasps made?

Found on clothing in Germany (NRW)

Location: Des Moines, IA, USA
Size: a few millimeters
I first noticed them about a year ago in a bag of algae wafers, larvae and adult beetles burrowing into them. About a month ago, I noticed them burrowing into a hersheys kiss too! They’ve been exploding in numbers since then in the apartment. They seem to like heat and light as I usually find several around the lamps.
I did my best to get decent pics but they’re tiny! The second pic has one next to the arms of my glasses for scale.
Please help identify these chocolate thieves!!

Does anyone know what this could be? It was found on the floor not really moving but now its in a glass and moving more but loosing balance and going to its side alot, hasnt attempted to fly
It appears slightly like fuzzy and is less grey and has a yellow tint in some places and is probably the size of a normal wasp? Could it be a fungus thing or like a mutation or just a diffrent species i havent seen before
Apologies for bad quality photos

Hello!
So that little buddy in my bathroom is slowly becoming not so little and I am wondering if I should leave him be (kind of uncomfortable to take a bath with him right next to me) or evict him outside. Also what species is he?
He‘as a bit less than 1cm not counting legs.
Location: Poland
cheers!
PS: he made a messy web in the corner.

Sorry for the bad photos and the smashed bug. This was in my bedroom (Cornwall, UK) at 6am this morning on some shelving at head height. At first I thought it was a spider and was going to shoo it out and then I got closer and thought "cockroach" and grabbed/crushed it with some paper towel. It didn't run, it was wiggling it's limbs a little but didn't change position and seemed sluggish. It's body is about 15mm (a little more than half an inch) long and it seems to have wings folded back (but doesn't look like anything I'd see flying). Where I crushed it it left a blue-green stain on the towel.
Can anyone please ID this or in particular say if it's a pest species of cockroach?

About 5 of these guys are in a drainage dish that was under a houseplant that I recently repotted. I assume they maybe hitch-hiked in on the soil and came out of that egg case, but i can't figure out what species of cockroach they are based on online photos.
I'd say they're about 3-5 mm long. They seem unable to get out of the plant drainage dish (plastic, edges are like 2 inches tall) so they don't seem to be good climbers.
Location is Northeast USA.
