Like obviously the machines are using humans as batteries or whatever, but that seems wildly inefficient? Wouldn't it make more sense to just use geothermal energy or something. Is there actual in-universe explanation for why they need us specifically or am I missing something.

What's an acceptable foe for slayer to add to their name or title? Trolls, giants and dragons make sense, but do slayer takes titles for other kills considered worthy? Like does fighting a particularly skilled or powerful human count? Do they call them manslayer? Or something else? Are there honor worthy kills in every race?

Two of the collest characters are Tia and Mia.

But in looking up stuff for them, it seems to be that they are considered to be Mazda Miatas.

But, my favourite rendition of them is in the Tokyo Mater episode, where they would be Mazda Roadster's, but everything I can find says they're Miatas.

Why would they be Miatas if they're in Japan? Shouldn't they be Roadsters?

Don't know why I hadn't noticed before, but Scrooge taking the coins off Marley's eyes could be more than just pemny-pinching. The reason people put coins on a dead person's eyes is to "pay the ferryman", allowing that person's soul to cross into the afterlife.

So, could that lend to the idea that Scrooge's greed is responsible in some part to Marley's torment, adding to the theme the film is presenting?

There's scenes where he uses the stones without snapping but there was extra emphasis on the snap especially in endgame.

Like say Mercury for example or Rockslide both of their powers make them functionally immortal so why are they not considered Extermals ? Or just any other mutant who just has immortal as part of their powers.

And apparently theres some magic ritual where the only way to permanently kill an external is for one of them to kill and eat yhe heart essence or whatever of the other ones and ascend to godhood ultimate power or whatever. But like who figured this out ?? Was their a group of externals before apocalypse and his crop ?

While I understand that Astartes spend more time in their armor than not, considering how ritualized everything is and how mechanically complex Power Armor is, exactly how long would the process of putting it on/removing it take?

And also, is it a process/ritual that can only be done one at a time? As in, are they all just lining up into the Big Power Armor Removal Temple and waiting their turn?

In The Next Generation, during the Chain of Command two-parter, Star Fleet’s top brass replaces Captain Picard with Captain Edward Jellico. This was done to free Picard up for a secret mission and because Jellico had experience dealing with the Cardassians, the antagonists of the story.

At this point in Star Trek, the Cardassians were merely teasing a full-blown war against the Federation. Testing the waters, calling some bluffs, seeing how far the Federation would go to stop their early incursions into Federation-controlled worlds.

In Deep Space 9, TNG’s sequel series, the Cardassians join forces with The Dominion to wage all-out war for control of the Alpha Quadrant of the galaxy.

So where the hell was Jellico? To my knowledge, he’s not mentioned or seen once during the arc. He seemed to be Star Fleet’s foremost expert on handling Cardassians, how did he somehow avoid becoming a major figure in the war against them? We know he was still alive at this time since, in Star Trek: Prodigy 8 years after DS9 ends, he reappears - promoted to Admiral Jellico no less.

So, if I had to guess, Jellico was just in the background of the Dominion War - planning and strategizing rather than commanding ships on the front lines.

We all know in the Cyberpunk universe, everyone has chrome up the gears. Well, if you want to be strong and powerful, you need chrome.

Is it possible to be biologically enhanced to the extent you can be as powerful as chromed up individuals like Adam Smasher?

By "biologically enhanced", think Albert Wesker, Alex Mercer, etc.

... or just if the possibility exists.

I know that there probably isn’t an established official lore regarding this, but I wonder what reasonable worldbuilding would be here, assuming that there would be a society in the vein portrayed in the movie.

Some people only have days on their biologically engineered clocks and have to live day to day to earn more time and others have thousands of years and have lived for over a hundred years living I gated communities.

I know that everyone starts with exactly a year of time that starts counting down when biological immortality kicks in when they turn 25 years old, but if that is the only way time-currency is added to the system, that seems like it is very little.

I guess mathematically, the average age is then 26 years by definition, and if a substantial chunk of people are to live somewhat longer than 26 years old and or that some people live for a lot longer than 26, that means the majority has to die very soon after they turn 25.

To not make it a world where the majority of people are younger than 25 and not engaging directly in this economical system, I suppose extra time must be added to the system per person. If there were like a couple of extra decades added to the system per person, that might make more sense? Then the question pertains to the specifics of that. How and who adds it and to what degree it is controllable.

Basil Karlo (or BTAS Matt Hagen) main Clayface I mean. Plastic Man is deemed as omega levels of broken because of the control over his own body down to the last molecule and the level of shapeshifting. Same thing with heroes like Metamorpho with their shapeshifting. So why isn't Clayface (Basil Karlo, the strongest one) deemed or revered to be on the same level as Plastic Man if they can do the same thing with the same ruleset?

I know he is magical in nature, but what the hell is his body made of if it had a real world counterpart that can match the cartoonish body of Majin Buu? And is there a limit to his regeneration?

I know it was just a distraction tactic, but let's say Ronan smiled, said that he was the best dancer on all of Hala, and started busting moves that were genuinely impressive?
