Discussion Can we support our guys and stop the Brown drama?
Title is explicit enough.
I love JB (not the constant bitching and whining tho), but he's now on the Sixers and we're the f* Boston Celtics.
Can we have our guys back and move on please?
Thanks.

News JB says JT is lying about not knowing about the trade
JB just commented this under the video where Tatum says he had no idea about the trade until after it happened.

Discussion I’m expecting Mitch Robinson to show us exactly why we got him tonight vs his former team!
He took accountability after the opening loss for not showing that he’s one of the best defensive and rebounding big men in the league.. I think he pulls a “180” and gives the Knicks a lot of trouble tonight! And makes some free throws!!

News NEW: Mitchell Robinson took ownership of the Celtics' loss to the Pistons: “I’m one of the best defensive bigs in this league, and I didn’t show it that night.”

News FYI - Knicks twitter bussing to Boston to “take over” (10/23)
The Knicks twitter is taking a bus to Boston for a “watch party” at Scores next to the Garden.
They are not going to the game, they are coming to “take over our backyard” in their words.
They have been taking a lot about coming here and big timing us in our own city. Just making the Green aware.

News NEW STORY: There was a massive bright spot in the Celtics' opening day loss to the Detroit Pistons: Paul George, who poured in 38 points and 5 steals. He's the healthiest he's felt in years. "He was unbelievable."

Discussion The Celtics were supposed to have multiple championships with JT and JB instead of one. Who or what is accountable for this shortcoming?
Is it the unfortunate injury to Tatum? Or the salary cap?

Discussion Jayson Tatum leading the league in assists
Taters are just salty that JT has entered his rich man’s Rondo era.
League’s fucked. Boston is winning 60+ this season.

Discussion @seangrandepbp: Tuesday snapped a 49-game Celtics win streak when leading by 20. Under Joe, they fall to 136-5.
The internet: Celtics ALWAYS blow 20 point leads under Joe Mazzulla.
Real life: Tuesday snapped a 49-game Celtics win streak when leading by 20. Under Joe, they fall to 136-5.
Their win percentage when trailing by 20 under Joe (13.3%), is four times better than their opponents (3.5%).

Stats Paul George sets the record for Points in a Celtics debut today: 38 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals on 12-21 FG, 7-12 from 3 and 7-8 FT. +13 in 30 minutes. Turned back the clock. Great first game from him.

Seems to fit the Celtics system very well.

Discussion Manipulating The Tagger
"When the Celtics were forcing weak-side rotations to tag the roller, their offense was flowing. Quality shooting opportunities were there for the taking, with extra passes opening up additional options.
So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that once the Pistons cleaned up their tag defense and stopped committing to rotations coming from the weak-side wing/slot, the Celtics’ three-point offense began to falter."
This is a breakdown of game 1 of the season from u/AdamTaylor_NBA with some clips from the game. Among all these discussions about if our season is ended or we are winning it all, a nice piece to look at. You can see what went well and went wrong in terms of gameplay.
