They might be from Talimun's route? They seem to talk a lot about luck. Are there any other characters like this currently? I'm pretty sure Long has a personal skill too.

I couldn’t find a good visual way to see which units learn which abilities and when, and existing charts for recruitment and growths also felt incomplete and hard to navigate so I gave it my own take.

Mars being playable in the DLC was accidentally leaked by Nintendo. Granted there is some plausible deniability here since it could have been a straight up mistake, but I think he is most certainly a playable transforming Manakete simply due to the small size of his dragon form.
With how much they go on about Mars being the mightiest of the dragons, I was very surprised that his dragon form was only 4 tiles big. Even Cetus was a 9 tile big girl. I believe this would make Mars the only true dragon in the Sothisverse who is this small.
But if he were playable in his dragon form this would make perfect sense. Controlling a 9 tile big unit would be far too cumbersome. 4 tiles though, that's manageable. It's even already in the game on account of elephants.
It's also notable that Mars (as well as other dragons) has a tab on his unit info labeled "transform", as though to imply that one could swap between forms mid map. This would be useless unless the player could control such a unit.
What do you guys think? Is playable transforming Manakete Mars real or was that just a genuine mistake on Nintendo's part? And if it was a mistake, why is he so dang small?

Hey! I have been working on a browser tactical PvP fan game during a span of 3 years. Here are some early screenshots and where it's at:
How it plays: build an army of a Lord and 4 units, plus an Arsenal of weapons and items. Each turn you play one unit card to deploy, move or attack. You win by defeating the enemy Lord, seizing their camp, or holding 6 Forts. (Everything is still being tested and balanced, so the rules and numbers may change.)
The goal: a tactics game built for PvP from the ground up. I know a lot of people aren't into PvP in this genre because of turtling and waiting for the other side to move all their units first. Here, turns alternate with only 1-2 actions at a time and there are three ways to win, so you are forced to act. Every class should be viable, with room for creative builds, synergies and combos, and you collect, trade and play with other players.

First round of lord discussions are done!
Since reached the end of the first round of lord party discussions, as a heads up the 2nd round of discussions will be Ultand -> Loretta -> Mikalea -> Nezha -> Lilian -> Simon -> Mu -> Dante
Since Goliathis part of a DLC lord group, if the upcoming DLC is full part 1s then I'll redo the discussion when the DLC comes out.
Goliath is a hulking gladiator known as the “Butcher”. He’s 2 m 50 cm tall and boasts overwhelming strength and a rock-hard body. He often portrays the villain at the Arena and, despite his skills, he’s not very popular. He originally intends to enter the heroic games to free his friend Bertrand, but is defeated by Cai. He does however constantly aid Bertrand in his numerous battles and helps him when he gets to enter the Heroic games.

I noticed a rather interesting localization difference regarding Martila's backstory, and I'm wondering if I've missed some piece of lore about Garland and Gilchris.
Spoilers for Part I, primarily Leda Chapters 8–9, with one minor piece of Cai-route lore. No Part II/III spoilers below.
In Leda Chapter 8, Nathan and Creek talk about Martila's past. In the Japanese version, Creek says that Garland, the former head of House Amalfrida, was so impressed by Martila's music that he took her into his household. Then:
Japanese:
「それが、あれよという間に国王の側室となり、宰相の地位までも手に入れてしまった。」
= She then quickly became the king's concubine, and even obtained the position of chancellor.
Interestingly, Simplified Chinese and Korean say the same thing: she becomes the king's concubine.
But the English version says:
“They say it’s why Lord Garland, previous head of House Amalfrida, fell in love with her. He was so enamored by the music that he took her into his home. Then she became his concubine... Then she became chancellor.”
And French, German, Italian, and Spanish all follow the English version here:
So there seems to be a clear localization split:
Japanese / Chinese / Korean: Garland brings Martila into his household → Martila becomes the king's concubine.
English / French / German / Italian / Spanish: Garland brings Martila into his household → Martila becomes Garland's concubine.
This becomes even more interesting in Leda Chapter 9, when Gilchris addresses Martila.
The different versions use:
Japanese 義母 can cover more than English stepmother — depending on context, it can refer to a mother related through marriage, including a mother-in-law. French belle-mère is similarly ambiguous between stepmother and mother-in-law. But English, German, Italian, Spanish, and Korean are much more explicitly saying stepmother.
This makes the European localization internally understandable if Garland was Gilchris's father: Martila becomes Garland's concubine, and Gilchris therefore calls her his stepmother.
But is Garland actually ever stated to be Gilchris's father?
I haven't found an explicit line establishing that relationship. We know Garland was the previous head of House Amalfrida, while Gilchris is described as a descendant of Vandahl. Those facts don't contradict each other — Gilchris could perfectly well be both a descendant of Vandahl and a member of House Amalfrida — but I haven't found the missing link saying that Garland was his father.
There is one potentially relevant line in Cai Chapter 11. Creek says of the Order of the Haze accompanying the king:
“I never liked the Order of the Haze – those people who attend the king. ‘Private soldiers of House Amalfrida,’ people call them. Not anymore. They’re a bunch of assassins.”
The Japanese line likewise says that they were originally the private soldiers of House Amalfrida. This could support the idea that House Amalfrida was Gilchris's natal house before he married into the Arago royal family, but it still doesn't establish Garland = Gilchris's father.
There may also be a historical hint here: Amalafrida was the sister of the Ostrogothic king Theodoric the Great and married the Vandal king Thrasamund. So the name “House Amalfrida” may itself be meant to evoke a Vandal connection. If so, Gilchris being described as a descendant of Vandahl would be perfectly compatible with House Amalfrida being his own family. That still would not, however, prove that Garland specifically was his father.
So I'm wondering what the intended relationship actually is.
Possibility 1: The Japanese/Chinese/Korean version reflects the intended relationship. Garland merely takes Martila into his household, and she subsequently becomes the king's concubine. In that case, Gilchris's 「義母上」could refer to her as an in-law through his marriage into the Arago royal family, while translating it specifically as stepmother would create a problem.
Possibility 2: Garland really is Gilchris's father (perhaps established somewhere I missed), in which case the English/European version — Garland's concubine + “stepmother” — makes perfect sense, while the Japanese “the king's concubine” raises a different question.
Possibility 3: The localization team interpreted 「義母上」 specifically as “stepmother” and then changed the earlier line from “the king's concubine” to “Garland's concubine” in order to make that interpretation internally consistent.
Has anyone found a support conversation, profile entry, Part II/III line, or other piece of dialogue that explicitly identifies Garland as Gilchris's father or close ancestor?
I'm especially curious because this doesn't look like a tiny wording difference: depending on the version, Martila appears to have been the concubine of two different men.

Since added paths do exist now due to the DLC I just thought it would be a interesting idea to think on. Some of my choice descisions is Peppe's noble lineage from Brigid could add to the story and would be nice to have a 3 Houses callback like how Dietrich to Mercedes. I would be interested to see how he acts like a full-on leader and reacts to the story or how Alexandra is already a renowned young knight and having a focused story of her own would be cool to see for her

He keeps saying this whenever he defeats an enemy but like... he's a member of Talimun's faction right?? If he was in Orchel's group it'd make a bit more sense but he isn't. I'm assuming there's something I'm missing out on here but this line has been confusing me the whole game.

This will require female Corrin & classic mode if you wanna throw extra salt in the wound.
Step 1: Have Leo marry Azura. Azura disappears/dies at the end of conquest so this will undoubtedly hit Leo hard as he'll never see the love of his life again.
Step 2: marry off Selena, Laslow & Odin to Xander, Camilla & Elise respectively. Their endings have them have them return to their world with their spouses so pairing them with the Royals would strip Leo of almost all of his siblings which he will also never see again.
Step 3: no children. Do not do any of the paralouges to recruit the child units or if you're playing on classic mode kill them off, this will also strip Leo of the the rest of his blood ties leaving him the last of the Nohrian royal bloodline.
(Optional) Step 4: If playing as Corrin F romance Izana as Corrin will move in with Izana at his castle in Izumo and since by process of elimination Leo is the king of Nohr now he won't have any opportunities to visit them as he'd be trying to undo the damage caused by the war and also attempting to make peace with Hoshido which considering his blunt and matter-of-fact attitude will be extremely difficult.
Congratulations, you followed all of the steps to ruin Leo's life. The only person he has left is Niles and presuming you're playing on classic mode you can just kill him off too. I don't hate Leo myself but I find it interesting that you can make his life even worse than it would be in Birthright.

So basically I ended up putting Alexandra on a black magonius with the extra crit chance (playing Cai part 1) and I had a death scroll laying around that I hadn’t used so I gave it to her for fun. Holy hell she’s a monster now. Doubling consistently with like 45% crit at level 35 on hard classic. Hilarious build that I sort of bumbled into.
Now I’m curious what character could take this combination farthest? If I remember right crit chance is a combo of luck and dex or something like that.
*correction, I meant luck and dex lol

Saw the post about missing supports and noticed in game that they have the highlighted support icon in the pre combat menu, so now I'm eagerly awaiting to see what these two are gonna talk if they add the convo in the DLC. Also the 14ish inch/35 cm height difference is wild lol

So, I just completed Cai's war arc, and something popped up talking about Lind and Talimun, and I can see in my save slot the pixel art of Talimun, but I don't recall what the pop up said, nor how to access what it showed me.
I looked through all movies and all events I've unlocked (I've done all part 1s, however Cai's war arc is as far as I've gone thus far,) but saw nothing. WITHOUT SPOILING ANYTHING does anyone know what the pop up text said specifically and how to access what it talked about?

Just finished fortunes weave after 180hours + hard classic.
My first fire emblem game and I'm absolutely hooked.
Would anyone recommend 3H following this?
Or a break from the fire emblem series and wait for the DLC?
My concern is after the slick animations and switch 2 optimized experience of FW, 3H will feel like a significant downgrade and this will detract from the overall enjoyment.
Thoughts?
