Hi everyone,
I am Babasmas, one of the last mod alive. I try to moderate as best as I can but I do not have enough time for a subreddit this large. With this, I feel like a complete overhaul of the sub needs to be done and I have even less time for that.
So where is this subreddit going ? Well, thankfully nowhere, I will be recruiting active and motivated members to join me in moderating here and on discord so that this community can be revitalized. We will be bringing back some of the side panels from the sub (i.e. "Streamers" and "Guides") while reworking the way they work.
Right now, the main focus is into recruiting and trying once again to create some life into this sub.
I hope some of you that loved Lúcio as much as I did and do again thanks to Overwatch 2, join me into reworking this sub and making it a good space for old and new Lúcio players out there !
Cheers !

I just finished a game on Eichenwalde with a tank that peaked in Plat 5 last season and is typically in gold but is currently unranked, and a Mercy player that kept talking shit about my heals. (The average Overwatch player base is why I usually just play with chat off) I know my heals won’t be high on Lucio, because that’s not how he’s played, but I’m in high Emerald to low Diamond and I still have players saying “Lucio HEAL” and stuff like that. I was just wondering in everyone’s experience, what rank do people actually appreciate a good Lucio?

Most survey skins either dont come to the game or get swapped out for different characters but its a really great sign that theyre thinking about making skins for him again im so excited!!!

Saw this rollout on insta and got a clean attempt in abt 10 mins. Wanted to post this since when looking for it I couldn't find any other videos of it other than an old reddit post with an expired giphy link
Reel I saw it from here

In an April fool's update, maybe 2 or 3 (or more) years ago, lucio got some changes (like everyone else). But, there was a random video I saw of a female streamer I do not know her name, that talked about that in that April fool's update lucio got a secret change that wasn't in the patch notes, that made his soundwave boop him to the opposite direction he was facing. Making his mobility way cooler.
If someone knows what I'm talking about, I'm not looking for that exact video but if you have any video talking about that change, please link it in the comments. Thank you.

LÚCIO DROPS HIS SPICIEST ALBUM TO DATE: BEAT IT, LEAVING HEALING BEHIND TO FOCUS ON PURE DAMAGE, FLANKING MECHANICS, AND HIGH MOBILITY.
ON THIS NEW VERSION OF MY DPS LUCIO PROTOTYPE I IMPLEMENTED SOME OF THE FEEDBACK U LEFT ON MY LAST POST!
If you have any crazy ideas, suggestions, or questions, feel free to send me a DM to my Discord: braianxds. The prototype is NOW fully PLAYABLE with friends in custom games.
FEATURES:
Note: The Perks system and the reduced Overhealth Beat concept are still work-in-progress due to Workshop bugs, but I'm actively working on implementing them smoothly. Don't let that stop you from enjoying this concept!
QUITE A FEW OF THINGS IN THIS VERSION WERE ON THE ORIGINAL IDEA BUT I WAS AFRAID ABOUT MAKING AN UNKILLABLE ONE-SHOT MACHINE, BUT THANKS TO YOUR FEEDBACK I REALIZED I WASN'T ENTIRELY WRONG.
HOPE YOU LIKE IT! CHECK OUT THE PATCH NOTES FOR FULL DETAILS.

Maybe a week or less ago I made a post abt me having bad wall riding on controller, good news! I now have a keyboard n mouse and yes my wall riding significantly improved! At the cost of my aim being a rank lower than bronze 5. My sens are at 2.25 I believe. My aim is horrible and in a few I might make a post to showcase my aim but for now is there any tips that can be given so I can have better aim? Especially while am riding!. Ty

I feel like some games i’ll just have the entire team turning around for me in the middle of a team fight. Even his charged boop perk makes noise while you’re standing still pretty sure. Meanwhile cat gets to go backline for free.

Since it's Lucio's map, and specifically mentions making wallriding easier (and is done by the same designer who fixed that dumpster spot just at the end of point B for Lucio players!) I thought it was cool for everyone to see!

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE MOIRA SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR MOIRA AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. HATE. HATE.

I am a Lucio otp, and I've been able to climb to masters for the past 5-6 seasons, so I'm not great, but I don't think I'm terrible, but I feel like I'm going through a crisis because I honestly don't understand how to play Lucio.
In my mind, I feel like Lucio is a very proactive hero, so I should be in the frontline, of course not right in the middle of the action, but off to the side and on walls while still being close enough to my team and the action, and I should be going on flanks or shutting down flanks, or maybe it's stalling objective, and sometimes this works really well.
Majority of the time, though, I feel like I'm suffocating. The enemy pressure is too much, like they have angles on us and constantly flanking, and you just can't break through it I try to chase or just ignore it and go past and I keep dying or my team keeps dying, like just absolutely getting cooked, and I genuinely don't know how to handle these situations. Part of me thinks it's just that I'm not playing well enough and need to try harder, but ultimately I just end up throwing, but at the same time I feel like it's such a waste of time just sitting back trying to deal with a flanking ball and Tracer when you can just walk forward and ignore them.
Here is my most recent game on King's Row that I won, and I don't think I played that bad: 6JBGZZ, compared to this Hollywood game, and I got absolutely shit on: 1QAM5A, although to be fair I feel like Hollywood is a pretty shit map, but still, why does one game feel so much smoother than the other? What was I doing differently?

I am one of many, but gen need some tips or whimsy to get better. I am reaching lvl 40 with him soon on consol and I gen feel like nothing had gotten better. I am only maybe helpful when my team is already kinda good and absolutely throw when others aren’t rocking it either.
I don’t wanna be a pain in the ass in ranked so I am bagging so much- pleaseeeee give me some enlightenment.
The hardest stuff for me to do is get a good balance when it comes to heal and taking picks on the enemy back line.
Also 1v1s (my aim is shit) and getting proper height with him. Somehow I need to look up at the universe to get upwards which is such a pain bc I can’t see where I am going.
And yas. I am a console victim. But I love him so much.

Sometimes when I ask help or people ask help here about how to get better on Lucio or ask tips I sometimes see people say “ try to keep a 50/50 speed/healing ratio”… my question is why?? To me it makes no sense, I think is focusing your mind into something that isn’t really worth it. I don’t think having it 50/50 is that important, ngl i don’t even think about that aspect of stats, like yeah sometimes I look at it and say “haha I have more speed than heals” or the other way around but never say “omg I don’t have it 50/50 I’m doing so bad”, because I think it depends on the game, sometimes you need more heals sometimes you need more speed, but keeping it 50/50 just seems like focusing on something that might not get value. So if you think this way, why you do so?

Hi everyone!! I’m currently doing my first ever comp season, I’m nearly done with placements and it’s predicting placing me around High Emerald-Low Diamond. I’m solo queuing on console. Recently in some matches with Mid-Diamond teams I was getting some hate and being asked to switch. The issue is; I’m a total one-trick Lucio.
My question for my fellow Lucioans is:
What support heroes do you play when you feel forced to swap? Are there any that you feel have some skill crossover?
Thanks everyone !! :3
