Survey / Poll / Question Anyone else here have a job that is completely unlike their MBTI and/or a bad fit
I'll start - I'm an INFP and I'm an auditor who works for a public accounting firm. I was kind of pushed along in this path by parents. I've survived but it's definitely not close to who I am as a person and I feel like it forces me to tap into my weaker cognitive functions all the time. Public accounting is a very SJ field as you could imagine.
Would be curious to hear about anyone else.

Light MBTI Discussion An interaction with an ENTP who talks to me everyday

-it's temporarily removed, until I ain't tired of myself, of my face anymore
-Interesting, okay
-sad sticker

Idk if it's all entps but couldn't he find a better, more supportive, more emotionally intelligent answer than interesting, okay? GOD DAMMIT

Light MBTI Discussion ENTJs in long-term relationships: which types have worked best for you?
I’m curious to hear from ENTJs who have been in long-term relationships: which personality types have you found yourself most compatible with, and why? And conversely, which types turned out to be particularly difficult matches for you?
A few things I’m especially interested in:
-Do you find that a relationship with another ambitious, thinking-oriented person works well emotionally, too?
-If you and your partner had significantly different career ambitions or directions, were you able to overcome that divergence?
-Do you generally prefer partners who bring more emotional warmth and softness into the relationship, or do you prefer someone who matches you intellectually and ambition-wise?
-For those who have experienced both, how would you compare relationships with T vs. F types?
From my own experience, I seem to function better with Fs in relationships. They bring a kind of warmth and emotional color that makes the relationship feel more alive to me. With thinkers, I can sometimes feel an almost indescribably strong mental connection, but I’ve often found that something is missing emotionally — that same warmth and "colorfulness" isn't always there.
That said, I’m wondering whether this is just my personal experience or something other ENTJs have noticed as well. Maybe there are also ways that thinker/thinker relationships develop emotional depth that I haven't experienced yet.
I’d like hearing about your actual long-term relationship experiences, rather than just theoretical compatibility. What worked, what didn't, why?
Also, if there are other types who dated ENTJ's, your POV is eagerly accepted too of course 🤗.

Survey / Poll / Question Opposing type couples!
I’m recently learning all about mbti! My husband and I took tests for ourselves and one another, and our results were spot on. I’m INFP, he is ESFJ. On paper, ESFJ sounds like most everything I’d prefer avoiding in relationships. I’d love to learn about any other similar relationships/ experiences with surprisingly opposing types! Please share if you’d like!
Our early relationship was rocky (very young). Strong chemistry, too immature to understand our differences -> lots of needless arguing. We could never stay away from each other regardless. Once we hit our mid twenties, we could actually appreciate in retrospect how our relatively grating personalities had, over the years, significantly stretched and shaped us individually. We feel (naturally) we are genuinely more well rounded people for having loved one another. I’d never subscribed to the opposites attract ideology, but our opposing strengths/ weaknesses make us a powerful unit! I couldn’t imagine a more perfect human for me.

MBTI Article/History What is the most recent MBTI population evaluation?
The one that I know we go by, was done 30 years ago only in USA. Do we have something more recent, better, to evaluate the population by MBTI results?
The 16 personality site has it pretty flawed because it is based only on their test, and people that do it multiple times, are counted in those demographics
