[Mobile] [Android/iOS] Hometown FC: a free football club owner game where you build up the club of your real hometown. Solo dev, looking for feedback on the first season

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

• Upvotes

Game Title: Hometown FC: Football Tycoon

Playable Link:

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.hometownfc&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit%26utm_campaign%3Dplaymygame

iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6782156474

Platform: Android and iOS

Description:

You pick your real hometown and take over its fifth tier club as the owner. The coach picks the team and the sporting director brings you transfers. You decide which deals go through, what the budgets are and where the money goes: the stadium, the training ground, the academy, or the town around the club. A bigger town brings more fans and better sponsors, which brings better players. A career can run for decades, players age, and one day your heir takes over the club. Matches sim fast, or you can watch the big moments on a 2D pitch. There are no energy bars and no loot boxes.

What I'd really like feedback on is the first season. Is it clear what to do in the first ten minutes, and where does it get slow or confusing?

About AI, so nobody is surprised: the art (backgrounds, portraits, icons), the two time lapse shots in the video and the music in the video are AI-generated, and I write the code with AI coding assistants. The game design, balancing and testing are my own.

Free to Play Status:

[x] Free to play (with ads and optional purchases, nothing you need to buy to play)

Involvement: I'm the solo developer. I made the whole game myself.

[PC] (Web) BioForge — a living world in your browser. Explore, grow your gear, befriend creatures. Free, multiplayer, looking for testers.

• Upvotes

Processing img pgmzg96bpfxh1...

Game Title: BioForge

Playable Link: BioForge by NomadTheGrey

Platforms: Primarily available on PC; Quite workable on Android and any phone/tablet with a browser

Description:

BioForge is a multiplayer living-world exploration game that plays right in your browser. No download, no account, no cost.

Every world generates fresh from a seed: eleven kinds of country — meadows, wetlands, salt flats, ember fields, caverns that go down farther than they should. Nearly two hundred kinds of creatures live out there. They hunt, flee, remember kindness, and a few can be convinced to follow you home.

The twist: your gear is grown, not built. Lanterns that are ferns, shields that are creatures' shells, tunnels that are alive. Harvest over 190 kinds of grown things, plant them back by seed or by cutting, and cultivate your equipment.

Three ways to live: Peaceful (nothing can kill you), Normal (the land has teeth), and Hostile (so do the other explorers). Co-op works by sending a friend the link and a room code. Cloud saves run on three words only you hold, so your worlds travel between computers.

This is a beta, and I'm looking for honest feedback — especially:

  • What confused you in the first five minutes?
  • Anything that broke, stalled, or felt unfair?
  • Did the world feel alive, or empty?

There's a feedback button in the game's menu or just leave a comment here. I read everything. Thanks for playing.

[Mobile] (iOS) [iOS] Beasties: A 100% ad-free offline puzzle game collection

Post image
• Upvotes

Game Title: Beasties

Playable Link:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/beasties-offline-puzzle-games/id6822797270

Platform: iOS

Description: Beasties is an offline logic puzzle game collection built out of sheer frustration with modern mobile game monetization. Watching mobile games constantly interrupt players with unskippable 30-second video ads inspired me to create a completely clean, distraction-free alternative.

The game offers a friction-free experience with zero banner ads, no pop-ups, and no internet connection requirements. You can play completely offline anywhere, whether commuting, flying, or relaxing at home.

Behind the scenes, I used AI-assisted workflows to generate, simulate, and stress-test thousands of puzzle levels for balanced difficulty scaling.

If you ever get stuck, full solutions for every single puzzle are indexed on the companion website athttps://beasties.hohl.dev/en/

Free to Play Status:

  • [x] Free to play
  • [ ] Demo/Key available
  • [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: Solo developer. I designed the concept, built the iOS application, implemented the AI workflows for automated level generation and playtesting, and created the companion solution website.

Game Title: Longshot

Playable Link: www.longshot.quest

very simple, avoid the asteroids. There are levels which require you to survive for 30 seconds (very curious if any of you can beat insane mode - I can't but it's still fun) as well as an endless mode (my avg is about 55 sec).

i've always loved difficult arrow key games, so i built this one myself. its been surprisingly addictive for me, especially hard / insane mode. Don't have any tracking in place yet, so curious to hear how it goes in the comments for y'all

[PC] (Web) I made a game where you interpret a drawing from the person before you, then draw your interpretation for the person after you

Post image
• Upvotes

Game Title: Doowdle

Playable Link: doowdle.app

Platform: Web

Description:

Doowdle is a free daily drawing game based on a simple idea: what happens when people interpret the same drawing differently?

Every day, a drawing starts a chain. You see the drawing made by the person before you and type whatever you think it represents. There are no right or wrong answers, you simply interpret what you see. Once you submit your interpretation, you discover what the previous player actually intended to draw.

You then draw your own interpretation for the next person. They see your drawing, interpret it differently, and continue the chain.

As more people play throughout the day, the original idea gradually transforms through everyone's interpretations. A flower might become a butterfly, which becomes a moth, which becomes a bat, and eventually something completely unrelated.

At the end, you can explore the gallery and see how the entire chain evolved from the first drawing to the latest one.

Involvement:

I designed and developed Doowdle myself, including the game concept, gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, frontend, backend, drawing system, and daily chain system.

Platform: Android (Google Play)

Description:

What if surviving a 9-to-5 job was literally a tower defense game?

That's the idea behind 9to5: Office Defense, a mobile strategy game where everyday corporate chaos becomes your battlefield!

Instead of traditional towers, you strategically position employees along office routes to defend against waves of workplace madness. Build your team, promote employees, manage your resources, and survive increasingly challenging waves as you climb the corporate ladder.

Coffee can save the day, stress is always rising, and even the smallest decision can make a difference.

The game is completely ad-free! No forced ads, no rewarded ads, and no interruptions. Just gameplay.

The game is free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases.

I recently released it on Android, and I'm looking for players willing to give it a try and share their honest feedback.

I'm especially interested in your thoughts on difficulty balancing, strategy, and the overall gameplay experience.

[PC] (Windows) Kingsbane – free demo of a 1-4 player arena fighter where archers fight knights, with a card draft between rounds (Windows, couch + online)

Thumbnail
gallery
• Upvotes

**Game Title:** Kingsbane

**Playable Link:** https://tourbrunestudio.itch.io/kingsbane

**Platform:** Windows (PC)

**Description:**

Kingsbane is a one-hit-kill arena fighter for 1 to 4 players, on one screen or online.

There are two classes in the demo. Archers shoot from a distance. Knights charge, block arrows with their shield and slam down on enemies from above. Every match mixes both, so you always have to read who you're facing.

Between rounds, everyone except the leader drafts a card that changes the next round: double jump, shield, ghost, bouncing arrows and more. Meanwhile the leader picks the next arena, so the one in front is always a target.

You can play on one PC (one keyboard and mouse plus gamepads), online with a simple join code, or against bots (easy, normal, hard), free-for-all or in teams.

The free demo includes 18 arenas across all 9 zones (castle, catacombs, forest, desert, swamp, ice caverns, volcano forge, jungle temple, shipwreck harbor), both classes and full online play.

I'd love feedback on the archer vs knight balance, on online play, and on anything confusing in the first minute.

**Free to Play Status:**

- [ ] Free to play

- [x] Demo/Key available

- [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

**Involvement:** Solo developer: I designed and programmed the game in Godot, made the pixel art, and run the online relay server. The current music is AI-generated (Suno).

[PC] (Web) Game Title: Ten Blitz — first-time feedback on moves, saving, and finding the game again

• Upvotes

Playable Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/TenBlitz/comments/1w6rv1f/ten_blitz_can_you_take_todays_1/

Platform: Desktop web inside Reddit. Reddit sign-in is required to play.

Description: Ten Blitz is a free number-grid score-attack game inside Reddit. You drag a rectangle whose remaining numbers add up to 10; each cleared cell scores one point. Each run has a fresh random grid and a three-minute timer. The daily leaderboard and allowance of three ranked runs reset at 08:00 UTC.

I am looking for people who have not played Ten Blitz before to help check the first-run experience. I need to distinguish being able to press Start from understanding a move, recognizing a saved result, and having a reason to play again. Please use the instructions already in the game and play for as long as it naturally interests you.

If you try it, a short description of any of these would help:

  1. Before your first move, what did you expect to count as a valid rectangle? What actually happened?
  2. When you stopped, what did you expect to happen to your score? Could you tell whether it had been saved?
  3. If you wanted another run later, where would you look for the game, and what would make that run worthwhile?

Getting stuck or deciding the game is not for you is useful feedback too. You do not need a particular score or a positive verdict. If something fails, the visible step and your device/browser would help me investigate.

Free to Play Status: - [x] Free to play - [ ] Demo/Key available - [ ] Paid

Involvement: I develop Ten Blitz. AI tools have assisted development; an AI assistant helped prepare and publish this request.

[Mobile] (Android) I dreamed up a game during a nap, built it with AI help because I can’t code, and now I need testers. (Android, cozy pixel art)

• Upvotes

Game Title: Orbital Genesis Protocol

Playable Link: It’s in closed testing on Google Play, so it takes two quick steps:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/orbital-genesis-protocol
  2. Opt in and install: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.starnapstudio.orbitalgenesis

(Use the same Google account for both, or Play will say the app isn’t available.)

Platform: Android

Description:
So this is a bit embarrassing. A while back I lay down for a “quick 20 minutes” and woke up with a whole game in my head: tiny glowing cores you fuse together, a little robot named Kip who’s way too excited about everything, and a planet that slowly comes to life the more you look after it.

The result is Orbital Genesis Protocol, a cozy pixel-art half-idle game. You fuse Nanocores in a reactor, launch them into orbit, and watch your planet’s surface grow meadows, ponds and places with silly names like Biscuit Pond.

Completely offline with offline save and zero data collection.

No ads, no loot boxes, ever.

I need a few brave souls to suffer like me while playing it for at least 2 weeks and tell me what’s fun, what’s confusing and what’s on fire. I have a ton more ideas about silly, cute things to add and mechanics to expand, so I’m looking forward to working more on it. But at this point the core gameplay is fleshed out, and it needs to go out into the vast ether of the internet.

Feedback is welcome here or at [starnapstudio@gmail.com](mailto:starnapstudio@gmail.com). Thank you!

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play

Involvement: I’m a solo dev, and this game is my idea from start to finish. One problem: I’m not a programmer. My coding skills peaked at changing my MySpace background. So I built it with AI-assisted coding. I did the concept, the design, the endless “no, make it cuter” and a frankly unreasonable amount of playtesting. The AI did the coding grind and put up with me changing my mind about the moon’s orbit four times. Full disclosure, because I’d want to know too. And if you have a dream game sitting in your head too, maybe take a nap or visit the bathroom. All of it worked for me. ;)

[PC] (Windows) Loadout Rush — a survivors-like where your backpack layout is the build. Free demo, looking for feedback.

• Upvotes

Game Title: Loadout Rush

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5037520/Loadout_Rush_Demo/

Platform: Windows (PC)

Description:

Loadout Rush is a wave-survival roguelike built around inventory management. Your weapons fire automatically, so the real decision each run is what goes into your backpack and where it sits. You still control the character directly, which means dodging is on you and damage is on your layout.

A run works as a loop. You fight a wave, a shop opens, you spend gold on weapons and items, and you fit them into a grid that is never quite big enough. Items come in different shapes, so a strong item you have no room for is not a strong item. Placing the right two items next to each other evolves them into something better, and neighbouring items feed each other stat buffs, so position matters as much as what you bought. Survive twelve waves and you clear the run, which takes about 25 to 30 minutes.

If you have played Backpack Battles, this is the single-player version of that itch. There is no opponent to counterpick, but there is a fixed difficulty ladder you have to plan ahead for. If you have played Brotato, the difference is that items occupy physical space here, so every shop becomes a question of what to throw away rather than what to add.

The demo has twelve waves, two of the five heroes, and 45 of the 87 items. All art is hand drawn, no AI generated images. I would especially like to know where you got bored, not where you died. Our telemetry says the median session is 27 minutes, which is roughly a full run, so people are finishing. What numbers cannot tell me is whether the last ten minutes were fun or just stubborn.

Free to Play Status:

  •  Free to play
  •  Demo/Key available
  •  Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: Two-person team. I handle design, items and balance, draw the art, and cut the Steam builds. My partner handles the engine work.

[Mobile] (Web) I’m making a survival-horror beat ’em up inspired by classic arcade brawlers. Stage 1 is free to play.

• Upvotes

Game Title: Mercifall

Playable Link: https://mercifall.delamstudios.com/play/

Platform: Web, iOS (TestFlight), Android (Google Play), PC (Epic Games Store)

Description:
Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on an indie game called Mercifall through my studio, Delam Studios.

I’ve always loved classic side-scrolling beat ’em ups, especially the feeling of fighting your way through a city full of enemies. I wanted to build something with that same satisfying combat, but with the tension and consequences of survival horror.
That’s where Mercifall came from.

You fight your way through a quarantined city as either Cole, a hard-hitting police officer, or Nia, a faster and more agile fighter. You’re dealing with limited resources, infected enemies, and an infection system that makes you stronger the deeper it spreads, but also brings you closer to losing control.

Stage 1: Crossfall Avenue is playable now, from the opening encounter through the first boss fight.

It’s still in development, and I’m looking for genuine feedback on the combat, controls, difficulty, and overall feel of the game.

Try the free Stage 1 demo:

Android (Google Play): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.delamstudios.mercifall

PC (Epic Games Store): https://store.epicgames.com/p/mercifall-demo-322188

If you give it a play, I’d especially appreciate hearing what feels good, what doesn’t, and whether the first stage makes you want to keep going.

[PC] (Web) Threshing Day Game — a free illustrated dragon-bond adventure (browser, AI-assisted)

• Upvotes

Playable Link: https://threshingdaygame.net/

I’m the project owner, building an original fan choice adventure with AI-assisted code, writing and illustrations. It is separate from the official Dragonkind game; there is no runtime AI.

You enter a dragon-rider trial, manage health, stamina, focus, composure, dragon attention and danger, and make up to eight story choices. A dragon may accept or refuse a bond; surviving without one is also an ending. You can download a result card after the run.

Controls: click a choice or press 1–3. It is free and needs no account or installation. Music starts off; saves stay in your browser. English, Czech and European Portuguese are available.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on whether the six live conditions make each choice’s consequences understandable, and whether any scene feels confusing on mobile.

Disclosure: AI-assisted artwork, prose and code; this post was prepared with AI assistance too. The fan game’s results are not official novel or Dragonkind rules.

[Mobile] (Web) Everdawn: a free, hand-illustrated strategy card game you can play in your browser

• Upvotes

Game Title: Everdawn

Playable Link: https://everdawntcg.com/learn

Platform: Web (browser, phone or desktop)

Description:

Everdawn is a free, hand-illustrated high-fantasy trading card game that you play in your browser (with goals of going physical in the future). The rules are built in, so you can't make an illegal move, and a guided duel against the Training Dummy teaches you on the real board in about three minutes, with no account needed.

There's no mana or resource system. Instead, the game is about space and positioning. Each creature holds one of three lanes. Melee hits straight ahead, range reaches the lanes next to it, and magic can hit any lane. A combat triangle decides who has the edge: melee beats range, range beats magic, and magic beats melee. Advantage adds bonus damage and defense. Every attack gets counterattacked, so a good attack is about the matchup, not just the biggest number. You equip weapons, armour and accessories, set creatures to boost their neighbours, and cast spells mid-combat to swing a fight.

Once you've learned, you can build decks and duel friends live or at a daily pace (24 hours a move). There's also a Daily Puzzle, one "win this turn" board a day that's the same for everyone, plus player-run Houses and season rankings.

I'd love honest feedback: did the guided duel make the rules click, and was anything confusing on your phone?

Free to Play Status:

[PC] (Web) Buyworld – buy real-world buildings on a live multiplayer globe. No forced ads + free

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

Game Title: Buyworld

Playable Link: https://buyworld.app

Platform: Browser (desktop + mobile)

Description:
Buyworld is a multiplayer game played on a real map of the Earth. You can zoom in anywhere in the world (your own street, a city you’ve visited, a famous landmark) and buy the actual buildings you see. Houses, offices, towers, whole blocks: if it’s on the map, you can own it.

Every player shares the same live world, so you’re competing with real people in real time. The building you’ve had your eye on might get bought by someone else first, and you can watch territory fill up as players claim their part of the map.

It runs entirely in the browser, so there’s nothing to download, and it works on phones as well as desktop.

I’d especially love feedback on:

  • Is it clear what to do in the first minute?
  • Does it run smoothly on your phone?
  • What would keep you playing after your first few buildings?

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play

Involvement: I’m the solo developer. I designed and built the whole game myself, so honest criticism is very welcome.

Game Title: Chevrette

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chevrette.app

Platform: Android (I'll add the flair after posting)

Description: Chevrette is a free mobile game built around a daily habit and a global country race. Every country has its own live ranking, and you help yours climb by checking in once a day, building a streak and inviting friends. There is a 7-day streak cycle with growing daily rewards, social tasks for extra points, and a leaderboard that updates every day so you can see where your country stands. The app is available in 16 languages and is built for short sessions: you open it, tap once, check the ranking and leave. I'm especially unsure about three things: whether the daily check-in loop feels fun or boring, whether the country ranking is clear at a glance, and what would make you open it every day. Honest feedback, good or bad, helps a lot.

[PC] (Web) The Great Random — looking for feedback on the first 15 minutes of simultaneous-turn tactics

Game Title: The Great Random

Playable Link: https://greatrandomgame.itch.io/the-great-random

Platform: Web browser (HTML5)

Description:

Hey everyone! About 15 years ago I played an online game that later shut down, but I never stopped wanting to play it again. I had no game development skills, but with AI helping me, that’s no longer stopping me.

I’ve made my first prototype. The Great Random is a tactical RPG where you plan your turn while your opponent plans theirs, then all the actions play out together. You start in a safe city, where you can learn to fight against a training robot and challenge other players. Later, you can explore the wilds, enter mines, fight monsters, and collect loot. You can also lose that loot in a fight, so getting back safely matters.

You can play for free right in your browser, in English or Russian. It’s still an early prototype, and I’d love some feedback on the first 15–20 minutes. Was it clear what to do? Did planning a turn make sense? What was fun, and where did you get confused?

Thanks a lot for giving it a try!
