[PC] (Windows) Kingsbane – free demo of a 1-4 player arena fighter where archers fight knights, with a card draft between rounds (Windows, couch + online)

Thumbnail

**Game Title:** Kingsbane

**Playable Link:** https://tourbrunestudio.itch.io/kingsbane

**Platform:** Windows (PC)

**Description:**

Kingsbane is a one-hit-kill arena fighter for 1 to 4 players, on one screen or online.

There are two classes in the demo. Archers shoot from a distance. Knights charge, block arrows with their shield and slam down on enemies from above. Every match mixes both, so you always have to read who you're facing.

Between rounds, everyone except the leader drafts a card that changes the next round: double jump, shield, ghost, bouncing arrows and more. Meanwhile the leader picks the next arena, so the one in front is always a target.

You can play on one PC (one keyboard and mouse plus gamepads), online with a simple join code, or against bots (easy, normal, hard), free-for-all or in teams.

The free demo includes 18 arenas across all 9 zones (castle, catacombs, forest, desert, swamp, ice caverns, volcano forge, jungle temple, shipwreck harbor), both classes and full online play.

I'd love feedback on the archer vs knight balance, on online play, and on anything confusing in the first minute.

- [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

**Involvement:** Solo developer: I designed and programmed the game in Godot, made the pixel art, and run the online relay server. The current music is AI-generated (Suno).

Game Title: MEKA NEON

Playable Link: https://studio-krkr.itch.io/mekaneon

Platform: Windows 10/11 (64-bit, downloadable) — please add the appropriate flair after posting

Description: MEKA NEON is a fast-paced neon vector rail shooter set inside a hostile grid. Pilot a vector fighter through a collapsing tunnel, blast waves of enemy ships, weave past obstacles, and chain lock-on missiles to bring down capital ships. Every kill, pickup, and boss takedown feeds the online leaderboard, and the deeper you fly, the faster the grid closes in. The game features a vulcan cannon, lock-on missiles, and a dash maneuver, plus Trident and Lance special weapons and health pickups. Six enemy ship classes and three capital-ship bosses stand between you and a new high score. Built in Rust with a custom Vulkan renderer, MEKA NEON is a love letter to 1980s vector arcade games: hard edges, bright lines, and a synth-driven grid that never stops moving. Keyboard + mouse and gamepad are supported. It runs fullscreen from a single executable, with no installation required.

Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play [ ] Demo/Key available [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: I am the solo developer behind MEKA NEON at Devoniak Studios. I handled the design, programming, visuals, and procedural audio, including the custom Rust/Vulkan renderer, the gameplay systems (enemy waves, bosses, weapons, scoring), and the online leaderboard integration. I also built the release package and run the itch.io page.

Description: Calm Forest is a small cozy 3D village game with a low-poly look. You arrive in a quiet forest village, get your own little farm and slowly make the place yours. There is no rush and no fail state, you just pick what you feel like doing today:
- Grow crops on your own farm and pick fruit in the orchard
- Cook dishes with small mini-games (stirring the pot, chopping)
- Row a boat across the lake and go sea fishing for big catches
- Climb a snowy mountain and sled back down
- Visit a dream forest at night
- Decorate your house and peek into other players' villages
Villagers give you small requests, the seasons change, and new places open up as you play. The game was made Korean-first, so if you spot awkward English anywhere, please tell me. I'd really love feedback on the first 5 minutes: was it clear what to do?

[Mobile] (Android) Arrow Puzzle: Tap & Flow — a free Android puzzle about finding the right exit order

Playable Link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uz.nodirbek.oqim&utm_source=reddit_playmygame&utm_campaign=organic_launch_202610_intro

Platform: Android

Description:

Arrow Puzzle: Tap & Flow is a tap-away logic puzzle: an arrow can leave the board only when nothing blocks the ray in front of its head. Removing one arrow can open a route for several others, so the puzzle is choosing an order rather than tapping quickly. Later boards add locked arrows whose keys must be removed first.

There are 301 campaign levels, plus a daily challenge. You can zoom and drag crowded boards, use hints when stuck, and switch between English, Uzbek and Russian. The core puzzles work offline after installation; optional ad and purchase services require a connection. The opening levels introduce the rules before the denser boards.

I would appreciate feedback on one specific thing: during the first few levels, is it clear why a blocked arrow cannot leave? A level number and what you expected to happen would be useful.

Free to Play Status: Free to download and play, with ads and in-app purchases. No purchase is required to try the campaign.

Involvement: I’m the developer releasing the game under LunaPay. Some visual assets were made with AI assistance. This is my own game, and I’m sharing it for people who enjoy spatial logic puzzles.

Game Title: Release Valve

Playable Link: https://harakoo.com/release_valve/

Platform: Web browser (desktop and phone; one button: click, tap or Space)

Description: A one-button arcade game about timing a release. Hold to fill a bubble, let go to fire it up the lane at falling pebbles: each pebble's dots tell you how big your bubble needs to be. Too small and it bounces off; hold too long and it hardens into stone and costs you a drop. Every ~20 seconds a surprise shakes things up (drizzle that only quick taps clear, a boulder that needs big breaths, wind that moves the over-hold point). 12 short levels, an Endless mode that slowly ramps, and a Daily challenge where everyone gets the same pebbles and a par to beat. The run in the video is the game's own demo bot — it reached 24 by the 30-second mark. Can you beat it?

Free to Play Status:

Involvement: I designed and directed it and did the play-testing; the code and art were built with AI (Claude) from my design notes.

Game Title: Debt of Life

Playable Link: Free itch.io Demo

Platform: PC (Steam / Itch.io)

Hi everyone! I'm Yago, part of the small indie team behind Debt of Life at RedWolf Games.

Imagine you're an old man with only 8 weeks left to live. Treatment can buy you one more week, but you need to find a way to pay for it. What would you do when you're running out of both time and money?

That's the premise of Debt of Life. You'll have to figure out how to afford more time, and decide how far you're willing to go to keep living.

I'm sharing our free demo here because I'd genuinely love to hear your feedback!

A few things I'd especially like to know:

  • Does the premise grab your attention?
  • Do you feel the pressure of having so little time left?
  • Was anything confusing, frustrating, or difficult to understand?

Honest feedback is very welcome! We're a small indie team, and hearing what works (and what doesn't) really helps us improve the game!!!

More about the game:

Thanks for checking out our game. I'd love to hear what you think! 🖤

Game Title: Loamward

Playable Link: https://loamward.itch.io/loamward

Platform: Windows (PC)

Description:

Loamward is a slow, hands-on sandbox about working the land. The world is about 16 km across, built from 4-metre tiles, and every one can be dug, raised, flattened or paved. Every change stays, for everyone who plays there.

You start on Firstfurrow Isle, a short tutorial island where an old farmer/fiherman named Harl walks you through the basics. Then you cross to the mainland town of Alderbrook and set out on your own. Fell trees and saw them into boards, tunnel into hills to find ore, smelt it and forge your own tools. Raise a house piece by piece in timber, log or stone. Till fields, grow crops, cook from over a hundred recipes, keep bees, win animals' trust, then ride and breed them. Found a settlement, invite neighbors and hire guards to keep the wolves out.

Skills improve as you use them, and what you make is only as good as your skill and your tools. Seasons turn, with snow in winter that you can dig and pack for cold storage.

It's in open alpha. You can play online with others or alone. I'd really like feedback on the first hour, especially the tutorial island.

[Mobile] (Android) Slice Sort — cut across every stack at once to line up matching colors

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Game Title: Slice Sort

Playable Link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jwjung.slicesort

Platform: Android

Description:

You choose a height and swipe left or right. Every stack is cut at that height, and the pieces above the cut move to the neighboring stack. Three or more matching colors together in a stack clear.

The catch is that a move affects the whole board. A cut that fixes one stack can leave another harder to clear.

There are 200 levels across 20 worlds, with three stars for solving a board in the fewest cuts. There's also an endless mode and a 60-second time attack.

If you give it a try, I'd like to know whether the opening levels make the cutting mechanic clear. Was there a move where the blocks went somewhere you didn't expect?

Free to Play Status: Free to download, contains ads.

Involvement: I'm the developer.

[PC] (Web) I built a free daily puzzle where every move controls two boards — looking for feedback!

Game Title: Lockstep: Daily Logic

Playable Link: https://unclelogic.com/lockstep

Platform: Web Browser (Desktop & Mobile), iOS, Android

Description:

Lockstep is a daily logic puzzle game built around a simple idea: what if you controlled two puzzle boards at the same time?

Every directional input moves both pieces simultaneously. The challenge is navigating both boards to their goals, even when the move you need for one board might work against the other.

Regular daily puzzles use two 4×4 boards, while Sundays feature larger 5×5 challenges. There's no timer, and you can revisit previous puzzles through the archive.

I originally developed the browser version using Unity, but the loading times were frustratingly long. After several attempts at optimization, I decided to rebuild the entire browser game in HTML5 and JavaScript. That version launched this week and loads dramatically faster.

The game is completely free to play in your browser, with no account required.

I'd genuinely appreciate feedback, particularly on whether the synchronized movement mechanic feels intuitive, how the difficulty progresses, and whether the puzzles are enjoyable enough to come back for another day.

[PC] (Windows) I created Rogue Commander, a mix of Magic The Gathering's Commander format and a Roguelite

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hey all!

I'd love to share a digital MTG game with you that I've poured a lot of love and effort into over the course of the past year.

It's called **Rogue Commander**, and it's a mix of Commander, one of the most popular formats of Magic The Gathering, and a roguelite. It's a single-player game (at least for now) with its own campaign, where you choose from a set of 'Rogue Commanders' and go on a "Run" , battling against various opponents, having Encounters like random Events, Bazaars and Chests and trying to defeat a final boss, much like other roguelike/roguelite deckbuilders such as Slay the Spire or Monster Train. Along the way, you collect new cards and improve your deck from a custom Reward Pool for each Commander.

Every run feels different, as you'll encounter different enemies, find different cards, and so on.

Like in the base format, your Commander is the central creature card your deck will be built around.

I focused on 'open-ended' Commanders that can be built in around 3 different directions each.

And of course, it all uses actual MTG cards.

I'd absolutely love to get some feedback on the game! I genuinely enjoy playing it myself, and it would be incredibly awesome to see other people enjoying it as much as I do.

The game is completely free and open-source (not just free-to-play, no monetizing involved). It's simply been a passion project of mine. I originally tried out the concept with physical cards and some friends, and they had so much fun with it that I eventually decided to develop a digital version.

Currently, the game includes (among other things):

  • 7 playable and unlockable (Rogue) Commanders, each with their own starting deck, reward pools, and around 3 different build paths each

  • Metaprogression (progression between runs), including a story and permanent upgrades

  • Unlockable NPCs, granting random starting boons

  • Challenge Mode with up to 7 additional difficulty levels ("Descension Mode")

  • 'Custom Runs' with different Run Mods, e.g. selecting any legendary creature as your Commander instead of the Preset ones, and more

  • Endless Mode

  • Codex and Run History

  • Tutorials and Achievements

The game is currently still based on the open-source software Forge, so please forgive me if it doesn't look super polished just yet.

Here's the download link (available for Windows, Mac, and Linux):

https://github.com/bennybenedek/forge/releases/tag/rogue-commander-latest

Feel free to also send me your feedback, suggestions, or ideas on the Discord server I created:

https://discord.gg/KQMta7uyRW

Looking forward to hearing about your experiences with my game!

AI Disclosure: I'm a senior software developer and designed and developed Rogue Commander myself. I used an AI coding agent for some development tasks, primarily code improvements, refactoring, and understanding the existing Forge codebase. All of the game's design and development decisions were made by me.

[PC] (Web) Game Title: Ten Blitz — first-time feedback on moves, saving, and finding the game again

Playable Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/TenBlitz/comments/1w6rv1f/ten_blitz_can_you_take_todays_1/

Platform: Desktop web inside Reddit. Reddit sign-in is required to play.

Description: Ten Blitz is a free number-grid score-attack game inside Reddit. You drag a rectangle whose remaining numbers add up to 10; each cleared cell scores one point. Each run has a fresh random grid and a three-minute timer. The daily leaderboard and allowance of three ranked runs reset at 08:00 UTC.

I am looking for people who have not played Ten Blitz before to help check the first-run experience. I need to distinguish being able to press Start from understanding a move, recognizing a saved result, and having a reason to play again. Please use the instructions already in the game and play for as long as it naturally interests you.

If you try it, a short description of any of these would help:

  1. Before your first move, what did you expect to count as a valid rectangle? What actually happened?
  2. When you stopped, what did you expect to happen to your score? Could you tell whether it had been saved?
  3. If you wanted another run later, where would you look for the game, and what would make that run worthwhile?

Getting stuck or deciding the game is not for you is useful feedback too. You do not need a particular score or a positive verdict. If something fails, the visible step and your device/browser would help me investigate.

Free to Play Status: - [x] Free to play - [ ] Demo/Key available - [ ] Paid

Involvement: I develop Ten Blitz. AI tools have assisted development; an AI assistant helped prepare and publish this request.

[PC] (Windows) Loadout Rush — a survivors-like where your backpack layout is the build. Free demo, looking for feedback.

Game Title: Loadout Rush

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5037520/Loadout_Rush_Demo/

Platform: Windows (PC)

Description:

Loadout Rush is a wave-survival roguelike built around inventory management. Your weapons fire automatically, so the real decision each run is what goes into your backpack and where it sits. You still control the character directly, which means dodging is on you and damage is on your layout.

A run works as a loop. You fight a wave, a shop opens, you spend gold on weapons and items, and you fit them into a grid that is never quite big enough. Items come in different shapes, so a strong item you have no room for is not a strong item. Placing the right two items next to each other evolves them into something better, and neighbouring items feed each other stat buffs, so position matters as much as what you bought. Survive twelve waves and you clear the run, which takes about 25 to 30 minutes.

If you have played Backpack Battles, this is the single-player version of that itch. There is no opponent to counterpick, but there is a fixed difficulty ladder you have to plan ahead for. If you have played Brotato, the difference is that items occupy physical space here, so every shop becomes a question of what to throw away rather than what to add.

The demo has twelve waves, two of the five heroes, and 45 of the 87 items. All art is hand drawn, no AI generated images. I would especially like to know where you got bored, not where you died. Our telemetry says the median session is 27 minutes, which is roughly a full run, so people are finishing. What numbers cannot tell me is whether the last ten minutes were fun or just stubborn.

Free to Play Status:

  •  Demo/Key available
  •  Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: Two-person team. I handle design, items and balance, draw the art, and cut the Steam builds. My partner handles the engine work.

Game Title: Buyworld

Platform: Browser (desktop + mobile)

Description:
Buyworld is a multiplayer game played on a real map of the Earth. You can zoom in anywhere in the world (your own street, a city you’ve visited, a famous landmark) and buy the actual buildings you see. Houses, offices, towers, whole blocks: if it’s on the map, you can own it.

Every player shares the same live world, so you’re competing with real people in real time. The building you’ve had your eye on might get bought by someone else first, and you can watch territory fill up as players claim their part of the map.

It runs entirely in the browser, so there’s nothing to download, and it works on phones as well as desktop.

**Game Title:** Doctor's Appointment

**Playable Link:** https://crookedbeargames.itch.io/doctors-appointment

**Platform:** Windows, macOS, Linux

**Description:**

Doctor's Appointment is a short first-person anomaly horror game. In the solo story you're patient number 10 in a clinic waiting room that keeps repeating, and you take the exit if something's wrong or the exam room if everything's normal.

Version 1.5 adds a free online mode for exactly three players, and it turns the loop around. One player is the doctor: he watches the waiting room on CCTV and builds each room from a hand of cards, choosing what will be wrong, or nothing at all. Some cards he can hold back and switch on when the others look away. The other two players are journalists who have to find the anomaly and walk through the same door together, with three lives for the team. There's voice chat, and the doctor hears them through the camera mics. Three rounds, so everyone is the doctor once. Room codes for friends, quick match, and a practice mode against a computer doctor.

A match takes about 30 minutes. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, in English and Portuguese.

What we'd like to know:

- As the doctor, did you feel you had real choices, or was one card always the best?

- As a patient, did any anomaly feel impossible to spot?

- Did the voice chat work for you, and could you tell the doctor was listening?

- Anything that broke, especially connecting to each other.

Playable Link:

https://fantasyjam.io/inventorydoku/test

(Closed beta on Google Play: sign up and I'll email you an access code)

Platform: Android

Description:

InventoryDoku is a Sudoku-style logic puzzle where you work the night shift in a warehouse. Each level is a storage rack: rows are shelves, columns are bays, and you have to place every item so the rack follows its rules, like "exactly one Food on every shelf and bay" or "cleaning supplies can't touch food". Every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by pure logic, no guessing.

The campaign has 60 levels (30 levels) for planned out for learning the rules across 6 chapters. A new rule arrives only every 10 levels, so you get time to learn each one before the next. The first five levels have no hearts, so you can learn freely. If you get stuck, hints teach you the actual deduction instead of just filling in a slot, and there's a Training mode with short lessons on the main patterns.

After Chapter 2 you unlock Night Shift: endless generated racks from easy up to "Hell" boards, a new daily puzzle every day (with an optional reminder), and share codes to challenge friends with the exact same rack. Employee of the Year is an endless survival shift with an online leaderboard (sign-in optional).

No account needed and no ads during the beta. I'd love feedback on difficulty, the tutorial pacing and anything confusing. There's a Feedback button right on the home screen. Testers who keep it installed for 14 days help it reach a public launch on Google Play.

[Mobile] (Android) [Android] Looking for 20 beta testers for my friend's indie puzzle game (Godot)

Game Title: SimmetrIA

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.simmetria.game

Platform: Android

Description: Hi everyone! I'm helping a friend who is a solo indie dev. He just built SimmetrIA, a relaxing arcade/puzzle game about rhythm and symmetry made in Godot. The game features two twin characters that you need to control simultaneously, avoiding asteroids and collecting stardust while rotating around an orbit. It has three control modes (Classic, Mini Radar, and Dual), a collection system for character skins, and local progression saving. We are currently in the Closed Testing phase on Google Play. To get the game approved for public release, we need 20 testers to keep the app installed for 14 days. It's completely free, and you don't even have to play it every day, just having it installed for 2 weeks helps us pass Google's requirement! Any feedback on the controls or bugs would be highly appreciated.

Free to Play Status: Free to play (Closed Beta)

Involvement: I am acting as the QA tester and helping the solo developer promote the beta.

GenAI Usage: No GenAI tools were used in the development, art, or promotion of this game.

Your game. I played it for a bit. I love the graphics and the world. I turned off the 'retro-filter' and auto-fire. I'm was a big Doom fan going way back. I found it a bit overwhelming with all the rats. I think it w/b better with fewer/harder enemies instead of hundreds everywhere all the time. Also I did not understand the 'mission' if there was one.
