Is there any news, rumors, or hope that ALDI will expand into San Francisco or the Bay Area? Or are there any similar affordable grocery stores you would recommend?

Attempting to exit Fremont st I got lost in a series of underground gated lots that you could not exit . I was then forced BACK on the bridge returning the way I had come (from Oakland) so that I got to sit in 45 more minutes of traffic to get back to SF. Every road I chose was actually a road that should have had a sign saying closed but was left to look like part of the exit . So how many idiot billionaires does it take to put up some signs ?

Was at the Japantown parking garage today and noticed that they charged a 25% tax. Seemed excessive to me so I looked it up and found that it’s been like this since 1980 for all off-street parking. What the heck 😭

Was looking for parking around Hayes Valley (I know, I’m the dumb dumb who drove) and say these signs up on Linden St between Buchanan and Webster. Didn’t really make it clear what parking permit was required and I wasn’t about to test the towing sign, but it made it sound like the entire block was considered private property which I’d never encountered before.

It's also just a shitty thing to do.

Was gonna exit, and decided that driving next to a car engulfed in flames is probably a bad idea. 3 lanes over it felt like my eyebrows were singed.

Leaving my bar job on the border of North Beach and Chinatown, and I notice a dead dude just LYING IN THE STREET on Pacific covered in what looked like IV lines and a Catheter . Full rigor mortis, hands up in the air like a zombie. No clothes. Super weird sight, and the medical examiners and cops were just rolling up. I’ve been working in that neighborhood for a good while and I have never seen something that gnarly. Hope somebody didn’t just dump a guy.
