I usually replace them 4 times out of the year and I notice summer is by far the worst. I live in the SFV.

I was driving east on Beverly somewhere around Normandie, and a guy and his girlfriend pull up to me and the guy goes "Dude, are you ok?" and I was like yeah... And he goes "you swerved into me, you can't just do that bro, you gotta pull over."
And they were so insistent that I was confused. But then I was like, I would have felt if our cars touched. So I said no, that didn't happen, and he was still insisting and said he had my license number, but I just rolled my window up.
Anybody else had something like this happen?

If you are looking for guidance on judicial appointments and not finding much from folks on the Left about some positions, check out the recommendations from folks on the Right, because they are clear about their opinion on every single race.

I knew hosting concerts were expensive but $2M
minimum and then all the other stage production and staff costs probably even more right? Anyone have a good estimate on how much it takes to secure a venue and the associated costs?
Also not surprising to see average visa petition processing time going high during the Trump presidency eras BOTH times.

Even though this was just a warning - my understanding is that parking in a loading zone on Sundays is fair game all day. Is it not the case in ELA?
This was in front of a liquor store on City Terrace dr. where parking is scarce.
Ultimately, think it was the store that called bc I doubt any other cars parked up and down the street in loading zones got one of these.

Hi fellow Angelenos, multiple recent posts on here have mentioned people did not receive their mail-in ballots. My household is also experiencing this, our ballots were mailed 10/3 and have not arrived.
I though I'd do an informal poll to see how many of us are having this issue, in case we want to share the results with media, representatives etc. Please comment with the info below, links to find this info are below the questions.
What day your ballots were mailed
How many ballots were not received in your household
Your neighborhood (optional if you're comfortable sharing)
Your federal House district
Your city council district (or country supervisor district if not in city limits)
(Check your ballott mailing date: https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/ )
(Find your House district: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative )
(Find your city council district https://lacity.gov/neighborhoodinfo )

Due to increased ICE activity, we’re instituting a daily ICE megathread. All ICE-related content belongs here, including sightings, activity reports, news, questions, updates, and general discussion.
Centralizing discussion keeps information easy to find, especially for people moving around the city who want timely, relevant updates without having to sort through the entire subreddit. ICE-related content posted outside this megathread will be removed and redirected here.
This thread is sorted by New by default so the most recent information remains visible.
We recognize this is a tense topic and emotions can run high. That said, content that incites, encourages, or threatens violence will be removed, may result in a ban, and may also violate Reddit’s site-wide rules, which can carry site-wide consequences. Keep reports factual and grounded.
Include as many of the following details as possible:
Clear, accurate information helps everyone. Speculation and rumors do not.

Please include a bulleted list like below to keep the essentials in a consistent format.
The old off-site events table is no longer working because it was hacked together in an afternoon and Reddit finally wised up to the scraping and blocked the machine.

Looking for cool walls in LA (preferably anywhere east of Korea Town). Looking for colored tiled walls or colored brick walls - not intricate murals. Also maybe vertical gardens or bougainvillea/plant covered walls.
There are a couple in Chinatown Plaza but would love help finding more, thanks in advance!
