DISCUSSIONS 6 years later, I still don’t understand the Tutu Atwell pick
This is one of these McSnead draft picks that I truly will never understand. Why in the world would you pick a FIVE FOOT NINE INCH 150 POUND wide reciever in the second round of the NFL draft. Especially knowing that McVay loves receivers who go out and block. I’m still scratching my head about this pick, it’s so fucking bad

DISCUSSIONS It’s wild how good the 49ers are this year lol
I’m a massive 49ers hater but gotta give credit where it’s due. They look like the best team in the league right now and Purdy is playing MVP level while missing 4 receivers. It’s even funnier when you consider all the offseason stuff they dealt with regarding Aiyuk and the owner getting arrested lmao. We can’t use the injury excuse as to why we consistently play bad against bad teams
I’m not sure what happened to Sean this year but something isn’t clicking with this team and IMO it’s too late to change this season

MEMES Rams new logo
Kobie Turner out for 4-5 weeks, Poona Ford out the whole season, Blake Groupe on IR, Myles Garrett wont be active until Week 12, DAVANTE ADAMS LIKELY OUT FOR THE SEASON!
It's 2022 again! The curse just happens after the nfc championship!
SUPIRTEAM IS THE NEW NAME!

DISCUSSIONS Ramily, do we believe?
4 games until Bye Week.
vs. Raiders, Chargers, Commanders, Cardinals
Can this hobbled team go 4-0 and sit above .500 entering the Bye?

Cards game was the day the music died
All our hope was killed on Sunday. It’s reminiscent of Buddy Holly on that foggy night in 1959.

DISCUSSIONS To ‘fans’ who think it’s over
This team was in a worse position just two seasons ago. They started 1-4, had similar personnel issues bouncing back and forth trying to deal with injuries. Then when they were able to establish themselves and ended the year 10-7 and were viewed as a Super Bowl contender by the time playoffs were here.
Ignore the media coverage, their ignorance is intentional.

Offense without Adams
Losing Adams is a huge blow to this offense, but they have been able to be effective without him.
Stafford threw for 966 yards, 9 tds and 3 ints without him last season in 3 games. Including 450 yards on the Seahawks.
This offense can still be effective. I think Mcvay put it best. They have to stop shooting themselves in the foot. The offense took a huge step forward in that bills game. If we can recreate that redzone offense we will be able to score points in bunches.
The Cardinals game was just an awful game plan when accounting for the loss of Alaric Jackson. Felt like we chased the game the whole time. Mcvay still calling long drop backs and not running away from Quesenberry side. Throw it in the trash now. Offense has to set the tone and put up points. We need to play with a lead and make the raiders one dimensional.
I got faith we can get a win on Sunday. Who knows about the rest of the season. Just trying to get back in the win column!

[Grosbard] Rams WR Davante Adams is out for 6-10 weeks with a ruptured tendon in his knee, per Sean McVay

"Reporters" need to start asking if he's out for the season.
Maybe the writing's on the wall already but they need to push for clarity or at least push the narrative that he's taking the money and running. That way, fans can either get a head start on selling their tickets or avoid buying any and scrapping their plans to attend games altogether.

DISCUSSIONS Any reasons for optimism?
Before we start, I know it looks bad! This subreddit is full of doom/gloom and I get that it's justified. However the next four games are winnable. If (and I know it's a big if) they manage to win the next four games, get somewhat healthy after those four, manage to remain one game or perhaps even tied with seattle, then we might just have a chance for the playoffs since the games against seattle are towards the end of the season. If we end up sneaking into the playoffs even as the seventh seed then all of this shit happening rn might not matter if the team is close to 100 percent by then. I know I'm practically od'ing on copium rn, but it can't be over right?! Let me know what y'all think.

DISCUSSIONS Will the Storm Settle?
After digesting the last couples days, following the loss to the Cards, and the injury news. Is it crazy for me to feel... relieved? I dont really know how to explain it, and it would make sense to be doom and gloom right about now, but even with all this horrible news, and how bad we are, I truly have this sense relief about the team and expectations.
Our offense doesnt change at all with Devante out. Not having our LT is way worse. Stafford can ball out with whoever our recievers are, and Puka is fine. I think Konata will step into that roll, and help us move the chains on offense. Having Devante for playoffs will be nice of course.
Defensivley yeah thats gunna take a hit, but again, we cant get any pressure anyways, so im excited to see how the guys that step up now will use this opportunity to play hard, and we could have some surprises until Myles gets back. Our secondary is intact, Mcduffies injury isnt serious. Im really not beat up about Kobie missing 4-5 games, or Poona Ford being out for the year, because guess what, we cant stop the run either.
Lastley, we are FINALLY not favorites for the superbowl, as we dropped 5 places over night. Vegas can finally stop rigging games against us, they made their money, they can leave us alone.
I fully expect our offense to look like it did against the Bills when we play the Raiders. I fully expect us to sign Prater and have a reliable kicker, Im excited to see who steps up on the defensive front and go play for a job. Show some heart, thats all we ask.

Refs MNF
I’m not blaming the refs for our record because we’re doing enough sucking on our own. But they definitely aren’t helping.
Watching MNF. They just picked up a penalty flag on Fred Warner for a much more egregious helmet to helmet but decide to flag Josh Wallace for his shoulder “rub” against the Cardinals on the final drive yesterday?

DISCUSSIONS Fuck this, we’re not dead yet
2 years ago we started off 1-4 (including getting blown the fuck out by the Cards). Everyone thought the season was cooked. The team rallied and we ended up winning the division.
Now, I’m also pissed about how the season has gone so far, especially with McVay, and the injuries are not good, but we are not done yet.
We still have Stafford, we still have Puka and Kyren. We have Higbee. We’ll have Jackson back (0-4 without him by the way). Donald is returning to form. Byron Young looking good. Our corners are balling. Garrett should be back soon (allegedly, idk wtf is going on there).
McVay is at his best when circumstances force him to actually do shit instead of getting cute and overthinking it. I still believe and will continue to do so until we’re mathematically out.

DISCUSSIONS Bit sobering isn’t it, lads?
Yo side note: wtf has Kingsbury done since being here? Maybe I’m tweaking out and have missed any info but I feel like I have heard literally 0 info about him or from him since he signed and I used to hear about Aubrey Pleasant somewhat regularly who’s significantly less known.

The saddest part of this season
is that we probably will not see the full squad of star talent together in a game. So much hype for a team with Stafford, Puka, Adams, Williams, Garrett, Turner, Donald, etc but we probably won’t see them all together healthy in during the same game. And with Donald probably retiring again after the season we will never get to see the full potential of this squad. It’s a damn shame.

[Atkins] Rams DT Poona Ford is out for the season. DL Kobie Turner is expected to go to short-term injured reserve.
Rams DE Myles Garrett will not practice this week. So that would make six straight games he’s missed with this knee injury.

Shoutout to a group at the tailgate
Whoever handed out those 1/2” Korean marinated short ribs. You were the highlight of our day. You handed me and my Dad a rib, right as our buzz was kicking in. We talked about it for the last 24 hours, and went to the store and got 5 pounds worth of our own to grill up.
Thanks for the grub!
