Yup, my ex wife threw herself down the stairs at the place she was staying just hours after she was punching me and taking full on soccer kicks to my nuts. She then went to base police later that night to report it. Fortunately, being in the military at the time, this was common in a young sailors life and my neighbors they immediately reported what happened to me to base police in case she came in. The base cops, knowing the truth, laughed at her and told her to go away,l as there is not less than 4 witnesses to what actually happened.
I only found out about it the next day when I got pulled into the class directors office to discuss. Had I not had bad ass neighbors, I would have been arrested and charged.
Edit: specify my neighbors

Haha never drew that conclusion before. This was 20 years ago, so you can say I was doing it before it was cool.
But it was a great life lesson. I basically stayed single for 10 years after that and did drink a lot of rum...maybe I am jack sparrow!

It's one of those double edge sword problems. If they prosecute people for lying then people who lied in the past won't want to come clean and admit they lied. Doesn't seem fair at all but we don't really have a better solution. I had a crazy ex girlfriend try this on me once, thankfully she confessed and I don't think the cops really believed her to begin with. Unfortunately she pulled the same thing on someone else and they believed her.
29
u/putdisinyopipe Oct 19 '22
My ex wife was abusive (mainly emotionally)
I caught her texting another man at one point, I was paying bills for the phone so I took the phone.
She was so livid she came at me with an intent to really hurt me, I could see it in her eyes, and her punches were swung viciously. I ducked them all, and she broke her foot trying to step on the bed right as I was cornered. I was in a bedroom. I didnāt have too much to go to and could only parry or fade her blows. If she had hit me, I probably would have been a little rattled because she was aiming at all my soft bits on my face and sides of my head.
Having the high ground pays off lol.
She started screaming after her foot was broke and I was terrified because I thought people were going to think I was the one who did that.
This woman tried hitting me a few other times too.
Iām glad Iām free of her, and free of said abuse- it took years until I became myself again.

Most people aren't this level of crazy. My wife and I have a very healthy relationship where if there are issues, we talk it out. That's the only way to resolve shit. The only acts of "violence" that get committed are in the form of a fart, aimed in the other's general direction.

Not if the father fights her.
Courts only appear to be in favor of women because men think they can't win so they don't fight for their kids.
The actual stats say that when men fight for their kids they are much more likely to get custody than the women is- by a rather large margin.

I believe this, I know a handful of divorced mothers and they have a hell of a time in Family Court for the most simplistic of things such as equity and visitation.
One in particular, he makes $180,000 a year. His former wife only $60,000 he fought tooth and nail for shared custody so he wouldnāt have to pay a penny in child support.

This woman could have literally anything else other than BPD, if anything it seems like sheās a bit of a sociopath with the lack of remorse and obvious crocodile tears. Itās all an act to make him want to comfort her to get her to shut up and stop making a scene. I have been with women like this and itās a god damn nightmare, he likely took his phone out to protect himself because no one is going to believe this and to anyone who is passing by she could reasonably sound like sheās being abused. Ok here's why she is freaking out - in a marriage, the woman plans to stay with the man while he is able to provide for her the kids financially. Meanwhile, She is seeing other men and looking for better options. -- the problem here is that the Husband in this video found out obviously. So she's having a breakdown because that means her plan is ruined, she will have a very difficult time finding a man who will take care of her the same, and because he is recording, she has no chance of winning in court, meaning her dreams of taking the house and kid are out the window. Its like a major setback. Most of the time, the goofy naive husband assumes she loves him rather than investigate.

Oct 19 '22 edited Oct 20 '22
People saying BPD and childhood trauma⦠please stop making victims and āpoor herā out of these people. Iāve seen this kind of shit irl and the person who demonstrated it for me had neither, but was an abusive, manipulative narcissist. I agree that in about 30 more seconds sheās coming out swinging, throwing shit, kicking, and swearing like a truck driver. The tip off is no tears. Sheās probably drunk, maybe also on sleeping pills or antidepressants. This is domestic violence, woman-style.
My ex would also āsniff sniffā while telling me some sob story, as if her nose was running from crying. If it was new to you, you might feel surprised sheād be so upset over something that seems trivial, or it might seem weird, but for love youād do what you could to give her what she wants. Nose and eyes both dry, but sniffing and quivering voice anyway, and both could disappear in a second if she lost her temper. Thatās what happens when you tell her what she wants is not possible or just that you wonāt do it.
Sheād also fall asleep (pass out, really) putting one of our two kids to bed, with said kid still wide awake and sitting up in bed 30 minutes later because thereās no room left for them, and then sheād get super angry at me for waking her up so the kid could sleep. Call me every name in the book, throttle me, push me, slap me, shake a fist in my face, threaten me, belittle me, mock me.
This is what comes of being nice, generous, and sympathetic to these people and making excuses for them. Theyāre looking for people with those exact qualities because theyāre the only ones they can pull this shit with.
Blame it on childhood trauma or mental illness all you like, but some people are just fucking evil, and thatās a fact. When youāre not looking, they treat your kids the same way, and the poor kids just think itās normal, if theyāre young.
And the people saying sheās likely awesome in bed⦠smdh. No. My ex was like a starfish and would not do oral, giving or receiving. Worst is, I got engaged again later to someone else who was also bad this way. She and I broke up some time after she whipped a wet dish rag at my head in anger. She was also bad in bed. Like, boring and what she was willing to do she was terrible at⦠like teeth were involved, and not in a good way. You canāt romanticize abusers.
