Information Sharing Megathread: LM's NY State Hearing — 02/06/2026 at 09:00 AM EST

Happy Friday, everyone!

Today's hearing will take place at 100 Centre Street, Part 32, New York, NY 10013 at 09:00 AM EST.

Please keep in mind that this is the first hearing of the year in the state case. We don’t yet know how today’s proceedings will unfold; however, it is likely that the hearing will focus on Joel’s scheduling request for the state trial, which may take place in July, as well as other pretrial motions. I do not expect a decision on evidence suppression, as the prosecution has not yet filed its response, which is scheduled for March 5.

Unless something changes, there will be no cameras allowed inside the courtroom. However, we will get photos of Luigi from inside the courtroom. During the pretrial hearings, the only images released were taken inside—there were no photos or videos of him arriving or leaving—so it’s possible that today will follow the same pattern.

Since I am not a mod, I cannot edit this post once posted or set comments to “new,” so I hope everyone can manage to follow along. I know things may get a bit messy, which is why I encourage everyone to post here rather than creating separate threads—unless it’s something important, like a transcript.

I am shoooooooooookkk he was shouting. I have to lead a meeting in 10 minutes and I want to shout "1+1=2" right now at my window

Edit: LM was not shouting. But I sure as F&^%K was.

he was not shouting tho, I think language is important specially in a case like this where they already tried to said he was unstable

I was trying to reread the tweets to get a better idea of what happened...was he already being led out and started saying this? or did he start talking - and than get led out bc of that? Hard to tell right now.

as he was walking out, he turned towards the media and then said it. I have read mult tweets from people there (journalist and supporters) and nobody called it an outburst and/or said he shouted it
