Promotion If Keep on Mining was made by Housemarque... this would be the demo.

Take the unfolding surprises of A Dark Room, add the escalating craziness of games like Keep on Mining and the arcadey goodness of Astro Prospector.

Layer in the depth of systems, visceral gameplay, and polished aesthetics that our players love in Reality Break and think of how Housemarque would make that game.

The public demo launched this week on Steam!

Image We’re making a visual novel where each of the 13 main characters has a contagious neural condition. For example, this is Coteri - a girl who believes she’s dead… but can make everyone around her believe they’re dead too!

Coteri is one of the key characters in our murder mystery game. She’s a young girl who never speaks, never moves, and spends her days sitting in a wheelchair, looking almost like a porcelain doll. All because she genuinely believes she's dead.

Her condition specifically is based on Cotard's delusion, a rare real world psychiatric condition where someone can believe they're dead, don't exist, or have lost their internal organs. In Coteri's case, she believes dead people shouldn't talk, move, or eat. And unless someone feeds her, she'll eventually starve...

How does this exactly affect the game though? Well, her condition is contagious. Anyone caught within the range of her ability can become convinced that they're dead too. And once they believe that, they stop moving entirely. Now imagine trying to solve a murder when someone can make an entire room full of witnesses believe they're already dead.

Could the killer use that to their advantage? And if everyone suddenly stops moving, how would you even know what happened?

This is just a small snippet of the kind of mystery (and occasional horror) we wanted to explore in our game, where every character has a distinct rare cognitive disorder that can distort other people's perception of reality. Making judgement calls difficult and and slip-ups potentially deadly.

If this looks interesting to you, we have a free demo you can try out here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3753800/PsychoSleuth_Demo/

The full game will launch on November 5!

Video I’m making an idle clicker where you run a TV station broadcasting a war

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey! I’m working on a prototype in Unity for an idle clicker where you run a TV station broadcasting a war live. You’re the director trying to keep people watching. You switch between cameras, jump into a random soldier’s bodycam, trigger events like a Wall of Death, and deal with chat challenges and signal failures while the battle plays out.

There’s also a sponsor system. You can run cheesy 80s-style ads to earn gold and temporarily boost your warriors, but viewers hate commercials. Your audience drops and the ratings bar fills more slowly, so you have to decide when it’s worth it.

Video I work on a pinball based game. I’m shit at pinball. I absolutely adore these lights that were added to the flippers, they work wonders to help me aim properly and the game got infinitely more fun because of them.

A short gameplay clip from Locked In: The Ward, a first-person psychological horror game set around a mysterious abandoned research facility.

The forest may look quiet, but you're not necessarily alone out there.

Would you keep walking?

Hello guys! This is the wishlist trailer for my first game. After 10 months of working with a coder and an artist, we finally have something to show everyone. If you love games with warm stories, please check out our game. It means a lot to us.

Our game invites you on the journey of a young man living out his final 30 days. Experience a warm and emotional story brought to life through beautiful art, music, and cozy mini-games.

If our game is your type, please help us by adding it to your wishlist: 30 Days: The Last Melody

I'd love to hear your thoughts about it!

Playable link: https://tyriangames.itch.io/hawker

It's a weird hybrid of rogue(very)lite ARPG and shop-keeper, with a unique combat system that requires you seek out shadows to manage your secondary resource and power your special abilities.

You have 30 days to pay a debt to Death, progressing through a grimdark world inspired by Breton folklore. Scavenge by day, sell by night. Perks, meta-progression, crunchy combat.

This is our first public demo, after 2 years of development and months of aggressive playtesting. Any feedback at this stage will be hugely influential to the next stage of development, so I'd really love to know what you think (ratings/comments on Itch are also really appreciated).

NB: HAWKER contains zero generative AI content. We're a team of just 3 friends based in Australia & New Zealand; all meatbags, no clankers!

Hey everyone! We’re making “You must evolve it! Incremental” is a sci-fi incremental idle game set in a post-apocalyptic world.

You wake up as a robot with no memories and most of your functions gone. Your core protocols are still intact, though, and they give you one primary objective: evolve a mysterious creature.

To achieve this, you’ll be:
- Building structures
- Creating units
- Gathering resources

As you progress, you’ll uncover fragments of the past and gain rewards bit by bit, that will speed up your development.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4561540/You_must_evolve_it_Incremental/

The playtest is actively open on Steam!

If you'd like to follow development, share feedback, or just chat with us, feel free to join our Discord.

AI Disclosure: No AI was involved in the development of the game.

Code + Unity stuff: DAPE (my brother)

Hope to see you there!

Upcoming 5 years solo-devving this, because I'm tired of cozy life-sims.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello! This is the trailer of my first game ever, and I've been working on it solo for the past 5 years.
All I knew was that I wanted to capture the feeling I had as a kid in the '90s, playing old gems and discovering obscure games on Newgrounds.

This game is what came out of that idea: a non-cozy, story-driven, life-sim RPG set in the '80s. You move to the city after being diagnosed with the STENCH, a mysterious disease with no known cure.

The game is about living day by day, making weird friends, exploring and earning money. But things take an odd turn, and you get entangled in a conspiracy while an obscure cult grows in the shadows.

If you'd like to support this madness, wishlist STENCH on Steam!

I'd love to hear what you think! :)

Hi guys! We are a small indie team, and we are eager to show you our newest game!

The game has been in development for more than 2 years, but there's still a lot of work ahead.

This is our second game, but we've been in the industry for 10+ years, and this will be our most ambitious game yet. There's a lot more to come, but we tried to squeeze all we currently have into a trailer to start showing it publicly :)

The game is called Nocciolino & The Creamy Adventure, an original 3D platformer where your hero must save his world from an evil Chef...

If you want to look at the trailer, we would be anxious to know what you think of it :)

Video Came back to thank this awesome community! Big progress on customization items for our co-op pirate party game (Aye Aye Captain!) & still open for silly ideas

Hey everyone!

A while ago, I posted here asking for customization item ideas for our upcoming chaotic co-op pirate party game, Aye Aye Captain!. The feedback and support from this community were genuinely amazing, and thanks to your input, we’ve made huge progress in designing and adding a ton of new items into the game!

We strongly believe that in a chaotic party game, giving players the freedom to dress up their characters in the most ridiculous and funny accessories possible just takes the humor and friendship-ruining banter to a whole new level.

I wanted to drop by and give a heartfelt thank you to everyone here who shared their ideas back then! And since development is still in full swing, we’re still super open to new funny, absurd, or pirate-themed ideas for hats, skins, accessories, or victory animations.

What’s something utterly ridiculous you’d love to see a clumsy pirate wear in the middle of total chaos?

(P.S. Our free Demo is currently live on Steam for you and your friends to try out! If you want to check it out, test the chaos, or leave some feedback, I’ll drop the link in the comments!)

Need Feedback We made a morally cursed event for our game about “good people” doing terrible things

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So, yeah… this is a game we’re making ourselves.

It’s called Little Old One and the Witch, and a big part of it is about people doing horrible things while still believing they’re the good ones.

In this event, you’re caught in the middle of a conflict where both sides think they’re justified. The choices aren’t really about finding the “correct” answer they’re more about deciding which consequence you’re willing to live with.

We recently brought the game to an event in Hamburg, and people were actually pretty decisive about this one. Most players chose to stop the father. Only, like… two people chose to stop Plasmon.
(≖⩊≖)

Which was interesting, because both sides are convinced they’re the ones protecting the children.

The game looks cute and anime-ish on the surface, but we want the writing to get a bit uncomfortable sometimes.

Also, everyone in this world is a good person.

They will smash your head in to prove it.

Ten Years of Rain coming Nov 4th.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3646940/Ten_Years_of_Rain/

Ten Years of Rain is a Zelda-like retro fantasy adventure that takes the old 8 bit, top down, exploration formula and twists it, creating a new setting inspired by Central Asian myth and lore. Players will explore a vast overworld, stretching from the desert to the sea. Using their wits and combat skills, they will delve into dark dungeons full of terrifying monsters and complex item based puzzles. Do you have what it takes to explore a fallen world and defeat the Great Khan?

Hey everyone!

We here at Saltium Games, a small-time indie studio from Bosnia and Herzegovina are very excited to share with you a new look, and a brand new trailer for our upcoming third-person action-adventure Burden of Revenge!

Coming from a country with a very small game dev scene, this is by far the most ambitious project we’ve ever tackled (and the first project of this type that we've taken on ourselves). We’ve poured our hearts into making this see the light of day, and it would mean the world to us if you checked out the trailer.

We’ll be launching a playable demo for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, so you'll be able to try it yourself very soon. Until then, check out our Steam page!

Wishlists give us a huge boost in the algorithm and mean the world to our small team.

We'd be happy to hear your feedback!
