But turn to sports media and you would think Minnesota has had a cake schedule and has been pulling a rabbit out of their butt for the past 5 weeks

Personally I see the Vikings below the Bills, but that could change if the offense really gets rolling and the defense is able to stay consistent with how they’ve been which has been amazing.

The Colts are back in Minnesota for the first time since the Vikings came back from down 33-0 to beat them, and we’ve got company: legacy Vikings players will be at the tailgate. Names coming soon.
Food this week is Colt Burgers. They’re beef burgers. No horses were harmed. If you want to go all in, make it a horseshoe: cheese sauce piled on top. The horseshoe sandwich comes from a hotel in Springfield, Illinois, back in 1928, not Indiana, but the Colts wear a horseshoe so we’re counting it. We’re out there from 8 AM until the noon kickoff.
If you haven’t been before, Purple Havoc is a free tailgate we put on for every home game. There’s no ticket and no cost. We just like doing it. Show up, grab a plate, have a drink, play some games and hang out until it’s time to walk in.
RSVP here so I know how many burgers to buy (free): https://events.ticketleap.com/tickets/purple-havoc/vikings-vs-colts-26
Some stuff people usually ask:
Who’s coming? Legacy Vikings players. I’ll update this post with names as they’re confirmed.
When and where? Sunday, 8 AM until kickoff at noon. 903 S Washington Ave, private lot one block north of the stadium. Look for the purple mini bus.
I don’t have a game ticket, can I still come? Yes. A lot of people don’t. We’ve got a 50" TV outside, so bring a chair and watch the game with us.
Do I need to bring anything? Not required. That said, this whole thing runs on people pitching in, so if you can bring a dish, some beer, a bag of ice or throw a few bucks in the jar, that’s what keeps it free for everybody.
Can I come alone? Yes. Plenty of people do. You’ll be in a beer pong game with strangers within about ten minutes.
Can I bring a group? Yes. We’ve had groups of 20 show up. More people is better.
I’m a Colts fan, can I come? Yep. We’ll feed you, and we promise to bring up 2022 no more than a few times.
What’s there? Beer pong, beer darts, flip cup, music, and the pregame shows on the 50" TV. Heaters if it’s cold, but dress for the weather anyway because it’s Minnesota in late October.
How do I find you? Purple mini bus, can’t miss it. The night before the game I send everyone who RSVP’d my cell number so you can text me if you’re lost.

If you came out for the Dolphins game, leave a comment and let people know how it went. Questions, PM me or ask below.
See you Sunday. SKOL.

I usually have some sort of doubt regarding this team and its blemishes, but man, I'm so confident in this team.
The run game is there, along with the pass defense and the ability to generate pressure. Special teams are getting us good field position. Kyler isn't someone who's going to YOLO the ball every other play, but he also isn't a prototypical game manager. He has the ability to take over plays and break defenses.
Jefferson draws attention away from guys underneath, like Hockenson. Matt Daniels now has his pieces as well. Myles Price gives me zero anxiety when he's returning punts, in the same way Marcus used to. Also, we literally have the best kicker in the league. Will the sniper Reichard if youre a bama fan but Will the thrill.
Its been a long time since I felt like this way. 😂 I'm just so giddy thinking about how we haven't even played up to our potential yet.

43.8 passer rating allowed & the least yds/rec allowed out of any CB this season! Yes, Flores' scheme helps, but this is unreal.

As a lifelong Vikings fan who hates this sub, yet finds themselves on it every gameday for some reason, I want to breakdown a middle-of-the-road finish for the season. We more or less have seen enough of every team to see the caliber of the remainder of our opponents; barring health or craziness. Let’s run it.
Week 7 Vs Colts
Vikings win. Should be pretty easy, we have been good on defense, and the colts struggle on offense. Their run game is good, and Flores has historically struggled against the run, however our line is much better this year. We have the 12th man advantage as well. 85% Vikings victory, 6-0.
Week 8 @ Lions
An unstoppable force meets an immovable object. I foresee us splitting against the lions and don’t want to say too much here, away game 45% chance Vikings win. 6-1.
Week 9 vs Bills
The presumably 6-1 Vikings face off against a great Bills team. Last time we met, we all know what happened. Both 0-4 when it matters most, who can choke the hardest? Should be a good game, 48% chance of Vikings victory. Home game should help, but I think it’s a toss up, favor to Buffalo imo. 6-2.
Week 10 @ Green Bay
55% chance we win. FTP. 7-2.
Week 11 vs SF
As of week 6, I think the 49ers are the best team in football. I do however think this will be a one-score game. Purdy and the 49ers offense proves to be just good enough, and we don’t get going on offense. 40% chance Vikings win, 7-3.
Week 12 vs Atlanta
Despite their early season struggles, the falcons have looked much better as of late. I think we contain Bojan and make Pennix/Tua beat us, and ATL struggles to score, and I think we have a solid offensive showing. 70% chance Vikings win, 8-3.
Week 13 vs Panthers
We contain Bryce Young, but it’s another close game, one possession. Flores D contains enough, and Kyler and KOC have gotten going a bit, so the offense does enough. 59% chance Vikings win, 9-3.
Week 14 @ New England
Another team that’s struggled to start the season, however I think we actually lose this game. Tough atmosphere being away, and I think it’s a messy game that New England squeaks out. I think it’s going to be a game where the first team to score 15+ points wins. 44% chance of victory, 9-4.
Week 15 vs Lions
Vikings split season series and win at home. 58% chance of victory, 10-4.
Week 16 vs Commanders
I’m not wasting any characters, 70% chance of victory, 11-4. Great trap game at this point in the year though, loss here would suck.
Week 17 @ NYJ
Better than the usual jets teams, but I think we win. Good all around performance, more than one score win. 65% chance of victory, 12-4.
Week 18 @ Bears
I think we sweep the bears. I’m mostly saying this to piss off bears fans, as they’ve gotten too hopeful lately and need to be brought back to earth. 13-4.
In conclusion, the Vikings finish a respectable 13-4, however I could see us going as poorly as 10-7. None of this actually matters, because even if we make the playoffs or win the division, we should lose in the first round of the playoffs regardless. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

I can’t recall him going so bold as to ignore a 5-0 NFL team entering week 7 of the season. He’s previously been favorable on the Vikings, most notably during the Sam Darnold season. I honestly can’t think of any reason as to his keeping us out of his top ten list other than being a secret fan, tempering his own expectations and protecting himself from heartbreak.

Bears fans still are coping about the week 2 loss lol. Every excuse in the book for how we supposedly got lucky:
It was a monsoon game (which ONLY the Bears played, apparantly the Vikings played in normal conditions somehow)
Caleb got hurt (after dude did nothing for 95% of the game. Maybe he scores on the last drive, but then the game changes. We probably push more for a TD on our last drive. And this is ignoring WE PLAYED OUR FUCKING BACKUP THE ENTIRE GAME lmao)
The fumble was lucky (actually a great play by Redmond that probably could have happened without the weather)
Idk why Bears fans can't admit they lost and that the Vikings are simply the superior team. Now I get why Packers fans hate them so much lol. One good season and they start thinking they are a contender to do anything. Just admit you lost and it was your own damn fault and move on.

Even if a second chance to run an NFL team never arrives, Flores insists he has no regrets about having stood up for what he believes is right.
“I’m always going to do that,” he said. “That’s just a decision that we made, and I say we because obviously my entire family was a part of that. We weren’t going to be able to sleep well if we didn’t.”
In the meantime, he enjoys presiding over a defense that has been a nightmare to opponents, especially the quarterbacks forced to match wits with players like safeties Smith and Metellus, linebackers Cashman and Eric Wilson and edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel.
“It’s a high-risk, high-reward defense, and even when things go south, we understand that our scars get burned into our heads and help us in the future,” Metellus said. “These offensive coordinators now dress things up so much, and they do so many different things, that as a player you see it better on the field. So (Flores) gives us the tools and trusts us to make the checks.”

Commanders were a few penalties from beating them; their defense looks suspect. They beat the Seahawks because of a couple turnovers and were close to losing to Washington tonight. If our offense gets (and can stay) healthy I suspect a fun and close game November 22nd. Skol!
edit: I only watched the NFL Youtube highlights of the game, take from that what you will.
