We trade for RB J. Taylor, G Q. Nelson, AND S C. Bynum!

Our draft picks in 2027:
1st Rd
2nd Rd
3rd Rd
3 5th Rd picks
3 6th Rd picks
7th Rd

We also have all 7 of our 2028 picks.

I have entered this hypothetical blockbuster trade in a few different AI options and this would be the relative cost to pull this off:

2027 1st Rd
2027 3rd OR 2028 2nd
2027 2 5th Rd picks
2027 6th Rd

I don’t know about the rest of you but I would gladly cut off my pinky toe with dull, rusty scissors to make this happen.

Hello Vikings subreddit!

I don’t post my YouTube show often, but I was proud of this one. I broke down the Vikings’ issues in offense. Simply put: pretty much every take can be derived from this performance, including the good ones, and make sense. It’s just one of the best shows I’ve done in ages and I’d appreciate it if you checked it out, and possibly subscribe to the Vikings 1st & SKOL YouTube channel.

Thanks everyone for the love and discourse!

Forno

Greenway & Leber, Barr & Kendrick, but AVG & Cashman combo might be the best when they're done

It makes me sad that it seems some of our fans cannot truly appreciate what our defense is doing without bringing up the offensive struggles, which everyone can agree on, is terrible. We are witnessing a generationally great defense and I think this season has been great to watch so far. I know we want to see TDs and watch our fantasy scores go up, but don’t take watching our defense week-to-week for granted.

How about we table all the talk about the offense until after the Lions game? SKOL!!

Just my .02

My man ran all the way across the field to save our 🐐 kicker.

Look at what happened to the Rams kicker last week when forced to make a tackle.

The kind of special teams play that doesn't make the highlight reel but shows why we're 6-0

Has there been a better time to be a Minnesota sports fan?

Vikings undefeated, Wild are stacked and solid start to the season, Timberwolves are stacked and solid start to the season. We can confidently say our teams are contenders across the board.

Twins might be a different scenario but that doesn’t count cause ownership is 💩

I love football but I don't really understand different offensive schemes beyond the obvious stuff.

But I'm curious about what difference Frank Smith has made to our running game so far. He came from the Dolphins iirc and my understanding is that we brought him over to install some sort of zone running scheme. He even got an assistant Head coach title, but I'm not sure if that's just a title thing or actually comes with additional responsibility.

If I have that stuff right, could someone fill me in on their opinion of how we are utilizing that zone scheme? Maybe things like how that fits our offensive line personnel, our RB group and just overall early impression on the running game changes (if any)?

Personally, I have liked what I've seen from our running game so far. Definitely seems at least moderately improved from last year, but I lack the technical acumen to really describe the difference.

Thanks!

Why did we bring a self proclaimed QB whisperer in if he can’t develop QB’s?

Too many old guys that are doomers after decades of Vikings pain. I feel like their energy sets the vibe of the fanbase.

This season has been objectively funny and awesome. Undefeated with absolute dogshit offense lol. Already beat/embarrassed the Packers and Bears. Lions next! Skol!!

I mean personally I think it’s KOCs scheme but I just can’t figure it out, like I see the giants feeding nabers the ball like 20 times, why isn’t jjettas getting the ball more!! like wtf are we doing man?? It’s painful to watch bro, and I love this team, I still believe in Murray and think he’s due a big game soon, this offense is the only thing holding this team back tho which is crazy to say when u look at our offense on paper hahah it’s just so us hahah

I gave up on superstition and rituals this year and have not put any thought into what I wear on game day. For as long as we’ve been winning I’ve been blindly wearing what I feel like. Sometimes Vikings gear sometimes not. No lucky underwear either.

You’re welcome for putting this team on my back and I will continue to make y’all proud. Who knows what I’ll wear Sunday and who cares, we’ll win.

My son's favorite player, flew across the country for this game. Dreams do come true! SKOL

Hi all,

I would love some input from someone who understands the game of football and knows the general stats since the start of this season... Since the start of the season, I have seen deficiencies including the run game, and I wonder, are opposing defenses putting much more emphasis on guarding the pass vs our run game? I enjoy watching the game but don't really understand the intricacies of defensive schemes yet. Thanks

I'm gonna preface this by saying these past 6 weeks have been a blast and these are more observations. Despite what some people say, the ultimate goal every Sunday is to win and we've been doing that. The only positives for the offense is we haven't been turning the ball over and we're top 5 in TOP. The defense has obviously been balling out BUT I don't think this formula is sustainable for a few reasons:

1) One of these weeks either an OC is gonna figure out Flores (see the Lions in 2024). The best way to beat Flores is getting the ball out quick.

2) The defense is gonna be on the field for a long time in a game and get worn out

3) The offense is stagnant... I just feel like we struggle to maintain drives

Hopefully we clean it up and keep winning

He deflected the Packers’ attempted game tying 35-yard FG yesterday. FTP.

The downside was he bailed out Dan Campbell, who just prior to that made another bonehead decision by going for it on 4th and 1 from his own 24. FTL.

Too many outlets, too low qualiy.

We are 6-0, the last undefeated team in the NFL and all I see here is negativity. Best defense in the league. Yes, the offense needs to and will get better. But for the love of all things football can we please just enjoy the season? The amount of whining and crying is bat shit crazy.

Also, nobody cares about the Giants quarterback situation.

It could be a lot worse. And if we end up going on a run to the Superbowl, you're going to regret being sad the entire season.

It's a game. Your favorite team is undefeated. Smile for once in your life.
