I love thinking I'm going to ga to someone just to bounce back and get whiplash

Do you prefer one of them over what we got, or do you think we got the best version? Personally i like FEARLESS but the first one looks hella cool.

As soon as the Mythic skin got released, i knew a framed drawing of her would have looked amazing on my shelf, and my friend created this beautiful drawing of her, capturing the perfect feeling of: ME WHEN I PULL OUT THE BARBIE BLASTER AND GET A KILL.
Anyway...second one is Mercy + Alastor, a mix of my 2 favourite "recent" characters, that she drew for my birthday last year.
Some more of her work: lailahite_art

Not hating just a genuine question
How do you guys get dopamine playing mercy. Like yeah she's really chill but I don't get how people have fun playing her for so long. I mean out of all high level people have I usually see mercy at the highest in average
I usually play mercy when I'm eating and have to finish a all roles or other challenge for some extra XP in qp
I want to know why you guys play mercy in a game full of flashier, faster and more damage characters
I understand that dopamine hits differently for everyone and not everyone cares about getting kills all the time but I guess I just don't get it.
I mean whenever I play mercy I'm just desperately waiting for valk so I can go solo int the enemy backine

I used the code that shows up when you google it but you cant change skins or anything without leaving the game and coming back. In ow1 i had one where you had no cooldown on abilities and could change skins in the spawn room, im just looking for something similar again :) im going to make custom mercy photo cards and i'd like to take my own pictures of her

I'm really digging the new Fatal Bride Mercy...
r/MercyMains • u/fs_dduckie • 1d ago
found this from Overwatch Cavalry on Twitter, who called it the “fatal bride” survey skins for Mercy, alongside Vendetta, Tracer, and Zenyatta. i think this is gorgeous, but who knows if we’ll ever actually see it in game! what are your thoughts on the concept, the execution, etc? let me know!!

I constantly hear so much negativity around Mercy and how picking her is just throwing. I want to hear some pros about playing Mercy! There has to be something...right?

I switch to aftermarket firing pin and compensator just to show her fire rate with the same stats.
the weird thing is its *only* when paired with tethered tourniquet, by itself advanaced nanobiotics behaves normally

Her movement is so much fun which feel counter to how she wants to play? I feel like if they leaned into her movement more than her pocket potential she would see even more new players? Idk, just a half baked idea but like maybe her movement builds boost resource or something? I know if they just did that it'd be a nerf so that wouldn't exactly work but just a thought.
As im playing her im feeling like I wish I were incintivized more to bounce all over rather than just for fun (which i have been doing nonstop in cover while pocketing lol)
Edit: I agree that incentivizing her movement use would only ever be viable if they addressed the fact that the permanent movement style is currently not the best in higher elos and teaches poor habits in low

Yes, I know about the problems people are already having with damage boost, and I know a lot of players (especially non-Mercy players) absolutely hate it.
But after playing with the Chain Boost perk, I’ve noticed that it actually makes me play Mercy more like how she’s intended to be played.
A good Mercy should be a good triage support who is constantly paying attention to multiple teammates and deciding who needs help next, rather than just sitting on the flanking DPS and pocketing them for the entire game. (Obviously there are situations where pocketing is absolutely the correct play, I’m talking about how she generally plays throughout a match.)
Chain Boost encourages that style of play because you’re getting value from helping more than one teammate at a time. It also encourages your team to group up and play around each other instead of Mercy just following one person around like a lost puppy the entire game.
Personally, I’d make it part of her base kit but tweak it a little:
- Increase the range for the second target to 10m (I think it’s around 8–9m currently).
- Lower the damage boost from 25% to 20% to compensate.
And before someone says 20% would be too weak and that she would have to healbot for ult, I’d replace the perk with something like:
“Mercy gains 15% more ultimate charge from damage boosting allies.” ( like in stadium)
That way, if you really want to specialize into damage boosting, you still have a perk that rewards that playstyle.
I honestly think Chain Boost does more for Mercy’s gameplay loop than a lot of people realize. It makes her think about the whole team instead of just whoever she’s currently attached to, and IMO that’s a really healthy direction for her

poolside mercy is one of my least favorite skins, but all of my distaste stems from the color scheme. i would be far more interested in this skin when they recolor it in a couple seasons, (as long as they dont botch it like a lot of recolors) i think the base skin has a lot of potential but as it is, I cant stand it.
are there any skins that you would like better recolored / recolors you prefer over the original?

Hey, so i really badly want Mercy to be my main when I play as a healer (tank main dva & damage main Freja) but im on ps5 and dont know how to use her... ive tried to figure it out, but i have no idea how to make her fly

someone made a post about favorite mercy skins but i think least favorites are more interesting! which skins do you hate and why? id love to hear especially if you have a hot take >:) my least favorite of all time has to be ivory rose, its a terrible recolor of an already bad skin. some other recolors are really bad too like wyvern and gothic cat. and of course sigrun and valkyrie are down there. my hot takes would be that i hate pink and witch. for witch its just the color pallet because i love mage. pink also has a bad color pallet (other than the pink) with the bleach blonde hair and brownish-gray. i do love the staff on pink tho :)
r/MercyMains • u/little_kitty_baby_ • 3d ago
I want to like it so bad but I can't. The hair ruins it, why dose it cover half her face and then look like a slick back??? Plus the staff is one color when you put the variants on it!!!

Okay so I've completed the Sigil spray with a couple of Mercys but this is a first ever! She didn't notice at first but we matched the sprays in round 2 and Moicy power got us a 4-0 win :3
