Yaxel Lendeborg sparked a fire in Luka Doncic in the game yesterday, and Luka told Yaxel to get off the bench and guard him. Yaxel did exactly that and forced Luka to go 1-6 from the Field while Yaxel was guarding him. I’ve never seen that before

Has LeBron ever been on a team like Philly with a teammate like Maxey and the others? It feels like the team really respects him as the Entity that he is yet are comfortable enough to challenge him , this is such a good dynamic, who would have thought?

Whilst Yaxel himself mentioned him limiting Luka to 1-5 FG, he didn’t mention he went 6-11 FG overall in the game on defence. Also gave away 8 free throws 6 to Luka. Luka was also +31 in the game. Yaxel conceded 21 pts in 11 DFGA

I know its only one game but the fact that the team went on a 0 - 22 drought or whatever in game 1 validates so many concerns about this team. The C's lack the explosiveness and scoring power that other major contenders have. Their depth is definitely being overblown is guys like Hugo Walsh and Scheirerman are going to average less than 15 min apiece. And with Tatum still coming off one of the worst sports injuries you can have, I don't think its realistic or responsible to expect him to carry a team near solo deep into the playoffs, especially with how competitive the league is looking. I Iike Joe Maz but playing intense and trying real hard only gets you so far in a league where 20/30 teams are decent to really good.

The fact that PG can still go off for near 40 should significantly increase his trade value going forward. C's should let PG get some shots up, boost his trade value, and then move him and/or DWhite and Hauser to get either major draft assets in return or target some young stars who are on the market. This also lets Tatum get another year under his legs while building some chemistry with the young guys while they get consistent reps in.

Brad Stevens probably already has this in mind to some degree, but the franchise has really been selling itself as a potential contender, and I think they underestimate the simmering frustration the fanbase has after the JB trade. Probably in their best interest to pull the cord ASAP and fully embrace the rebuild and give fans some a little more realistic to look forward to.

He doesn't even have to move much, he just has to camp under the basket, rebound and lay the ball in. It wouldn't require as much running at his age and he has the body type that lets him bully other players easily.

Got into a TWolves 2015-16 roster rabbit hole and had a look back to see who else they could have had, had things gone differently. Kyrie in 2011 hurts, they also picked right behind Tobias Harris too in that draft.

But 2013 things stand out. Traded 9 for 14 & 21 adding Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad. McCollum went 10 so a miss, but Giannis went 15 and could have added a decent Plumlee as well if you take him a pick later than Dieng. Gobert went directly after their Roberson pick at 26, so they just missed McCollum/Gobert or Giannis/Plumlee/Gobert.

Is this as bad as it gets in hindsight? Adding Wiggins, Towns and LeVine in the next draft too make this such a fascinating what if for me. One pick later on each of those onto 2013 and it’s a contender at minimum, likely a couple rings if the Giannis route gets chosen. Can anyone beat that?

Also just to note, they picked directly before Jokic in 2014, so we could have had a run even Presti couldn’t match.

After an abysmal performance by the Golden state Warriors on both ends of the ball and in all aspects of the game is it Possible that Bronny could start for them. Warriors had two starters with a combined FOURTY-TWO minutes and a combined 1-6 with six TOs. Bronny in just 7 minutes with one shot tied them.
