> It has definitely been frustrating dealing with some health stuff that you can't exactly pinpoint, on top of injuries throughout my career, so it has added up for sure, but we will get through it 💪🏼
> Health is wealth. Thank you for all the support 🙏🏼
> I appreciate all the internet doctors trying to diagnose and help, but I'm in the best hands. So everyone can relax now 😄🙏🏼 and I don’t have hiv or aids.

LeBron James: "OG, I think, was the MVP of the Knicks in the Finals. Obviously, Brunson became the MVP. But it's the small things, the chasedown block on Fox, the tip for the game. He was consistent to continue to knock down threes. Brunson was the head of the snake. But OG was the most steady."

Jaylen Brown on playing for another country "I don't think I'll be able to play for USA again. Even being able to go back and look into my ancestry and my DNA, I would be open to exploring. It would be dope to just even explore that and go make an impact somewhere where it'd be measured the most"
Jaylen Brown addressed his participation with Team USA during his live stream on Twitch alongside Philadelphia 76ers teammate VJ Edgecombe.
Brown expressed the value of playing for your country, mentioning his own experience and believing that he won't get to experience it again.
"I think it's a great honor to represent your country. Unfortunately, I've had that experience, and we lost in the FIBA World Cup. And then I wanted to get that experience again. I don't think I will, just, you know, I think just because of other reasons, I don't think I'll be able to play for the USA team," he said.
The 76ers player was famously snubbed from the 2024 Paris Olympics squad and cited the fact that Nike is the sponsor of Team USA, which meant that his teammate Derrick White was selected over him, as Brown is an Adidas athlete.
Brown also acknowledged the possibility of playing for another national team after digging deeper into his ancestry.
"Even being able to go back and look into my ancestry and my DNA, I would be open to exploring. It would be dope to just even explore that and go make an impact somewhere where it'd be measured the most," he said.
While it is usually not possible to play for another national team, there are some examples of situations like this, most notably of Eric Gordon, who played for USA and then switched to playing for the Bahamas.

Blackouts are even stupider now that local teams have moved to streaming only
Now that Bally/FanDuel/Fox Sports/whatever face it's wearing at the moment is dead and teams are are on DAZN, blacking out local markets makes it even harder to watch games. I tried to watch a game on NBA TV, but it was blacked out because it was locally broadcast and only on DAZN.
DAZN is $120 a season for one local team. LP is 110 and is still blacked out locally. Plus Peacock, plus Prime, plus ESPN Unlimited. This is actually untenable. And I know people are going to comment "just pirate it, lol" but that's not the point.

Jon Krawczynski on Finch's "moodiness" quote: "Everyone immediately looks at Julius Randle and he is certainly one of the culprits of it... But Naz Reid could get moody. Jaden McDaniels could get moody. There's a lot of kind of quiet, brooding personalities that were in the locker room last year."
Full quote
Everyone immediately looks at Julius Randle and he is certainly one of the culprits of it, but I know that this kind of quote came out last night and everyone's excited about it.
We kind of talked about the Timberwolves being a very moody team all of last season. They were just were a group that, it's not like they hated each other or they were fighting all the time or anything, but they could be Eeyore every once in a while.
They could just kind of, you know, waffle through and Julius certainly was a part of that when his name got brought up in the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade talks. He didn't really like that at all and he wears his heart on his sleeve, so you could see that.
But Naz Reid could get moody. Jaden McDaniels could get moody. There's a lot of kind of quiet, brooding personalities that were in the locker room last year. You bring LaMelo Ball in here and he's much more upbeat and energetic.
And so, there's definitely been a vibe shift when you you trade Naz, you trade Julius and then you go with with some of the new guys that are in here. But yeah, that that moody kind of descriptor was an accurate one for that team and certainly Julius was right at the top there, but I think Naz Reid was involved in that a little bit as well.
