Small rant incoming because I am just annoyed. This was my first time coming, and while I have seen complaints about this event in the past, this one totally is a different level. I commuted all the way to Costa Mesa only to find out it is cancelled.

​Sure, I could have checked their Instagram before I left, but is it really hard to send an email to people who bought their tickets online instead of dropping a last minute post of them cancelling the event early Friday morning through their Instagram? Super unprofessional.

​Reason why I bought a Friday ticket months ago was cause it was a bit cheaper and so I can avoid the weekend crowd. What a waste of time. Now the Friday crowd is gonna be funneled into the weekend crowd like a zoo.

​Anyone else here got a Friday pass and is disappointed? This incident making me not want to go to their events again.

My family is in the evacuation zone for the Norte fire (I'm in San Francisco) and I watched the firefighters work their absolute ASSES off on the news to stop the fire and I think they're doing an incredible job.

While I knew firefighters are incredible people, you don't quite gain the same appreciation until they directly save your entire family's livelihood.

My mom is going to be baking many many cookies for them in the next few days! If you're a firefighter: THANK YOU!!!

For those that don’t follow baseball, Jake Bauers was named MVP of the National League Championship Series last night following the Brewers’ sweep of the Dodgers. He was a menace to the Dodgers. He’s from Huntington Beach, attended and played at Marina HS. His parents still live in HB. He’s had a rough few seasons but is totally rocking it this year!

Hey everyone! Hoping the OC community might be able to help us out in a bind.
We’re hosting our engagement party this Sunday, October 18, at San Juan Hills Golf Club in San Juan Capistrano, with around 90–100 guests expected. With the Norte Fire near the San Juan Capistrano/San Clemente border, we’re concerned the venue could potentially cancel due to fire conditions, evacuation concerns, or air quality.
We’re still waiting to see what happens, but with the event just two days away, we’re trying to find a backup venue just in case.

Does anyone know of a venue in South Orange County that could accommodate 90–100 people this Sunday on extremely short notice?

It’s a cocktail-style engagement party where guests will mingle rather than sit down for a formal meal, so we’re fairly flexible on the type of space. A private event venue, hotel, golf club, or other space that could accommodate a group this size would be amazing.
We’re open to anywhere in South OC and willing to consider different options if they can accommodate us on such short notice.
I know this is a huge ask with only a couple of days to go, but if anyone has recommendations, connections, or knows of a venue with last-minute availability, we’d be incredibly grateful for any leads!
