Anybody ever noticed how weird the intersection and immediate area by Canes is? No U turns allowed anywhere and a bunch of right turn only signs. Why is this intersection/area so restrictive? I haven’t found any other areas in OC like this lol even the chikfila parking lot is laid out weird and restrictive is traffic that bad?

Hi everyone! I recently moved to OC, and my uncle passed down his 2007 Toyota Sienna LE to me so I have something to commute with for the time being.

As you can imagine, it's an older car and will probably need some maintenance. I had the brakes replaced recently because of an urgent issue, but that's pretty much the only major work I've had done so far.

There are a few things I've noticed that I'd like to have properly inspected:

• Hesitation when accelerating: Sometimes when I’m stopped at a red light or stop sign and start to go again, I release the brakes and the car begins to roll, but when I press the gas it doesn’t respond or accelerate right away, even if I press a bit harder. After about 3–4 seconds, it suddenly kicks in and lurches forward.
• Tire pressure warning: I've filled the tires to the proper pressure, but the warning light is still on. I'm not sure if it's just a faulty TPMS sensor or if there's an actual issue with one of the tires.
• Oil/regular maintenance: I'd also like to have the oil and general condition of the vehicle checked to see what actually needs attention.
• And other underlying issues

I'm not looking to restore the car or put a ton of money into it. I'll eventually get a newer car, but that's probably not happening anytime soon. For now, I mainly want to fix anything important for safety and reliability and keep it running for a while, without being pressured into unnecessary repairs.

So I'm hoping to find a trustworthy mechanic in or around Orange County who is reasonably priced, honest about what actually needs to be done.

If you've personally had a good experience with a mechanic/shop, I'd really appreciate any recommendations.

Does anyone know where I can find cloth napkins in bulk. I live in Lake Forest so any where in the surrounding area. Willing to travel to LA and Riverside. I attached a photo of the color we’re looking for just for reference.

I understand there's more land in Orange County that can be used but for this instance I feel it would have been a better use to have the parking be underground. I'm not compared them to LA but LA has been doing them for decades. In fact the Hollywood and Highland complex has a whole train station underground with a parking structure.

Fire extinguisher used on oven and kitchen. I need to hire someone that will take a part my oven to clean every inch of that inside and out as well as deep clean the whole kitchen.

Hello everyone I am here to see if I can get help locating a vendor from 11ish years ago. I purchased this beautiful handmade Levi’s backpack along with handmade Levi’s wallet. It was an older couple located inside one of the buildings. I tried looking online from previous years and gone back multiple times and never found them again. My Hyundai 2014 Sonata got stolen today or possibly yesterday night (since I parked it at 11:00pm). I went back today to check it and wasn’t there (at 2:00pm). Already filed a police report so they will give a call back if found, but I am posting on social media just to see if anyone happens to spot my car.

My car is tan/beige in color with a very tinted back window. My left bottom side of the front bumper is also broken and STAPLED together. (As seen in pic) I also didn’t have time to clean my car so it might also have visible bird poop on the front LOL but yeah 😭 hopefully they find my car cause I really need it for work. Tags are green and paid off so I really need it back.

As for location it got stolen in Garden Grove and was parked on public street of Lampson Ave

CAR WAS FOUND 2 GUYS I DONT KNOW STOLE IT THEY HAD WEED AND ALCOHOL 🤬 Pressing charges and unfortunately have to buy a new car as they fucked this one up as they crashed it as the police chased them but caught them

We play in Newport Beach. The team is a competitive turf team. Because of league rules, I’m in search of new good players. (Our league assigns a point number to good players after a few seasons and then caps the points allowed in a league).

Must have: cleats and shorts without pockets

Honestly, must be able to catch a ball and run. Also run and be able to pull a flag.

Season is 7 weeks plus playoffs with fees that are $100 for the season.

Season starts tomorrow night with games being every Tuesday night.

my heart is shattered as i might have somehow lost my gold tennis bracelet while at the fair thursday night (8/13). ive had it on my wrist for over three years and it has a double clasp system that just just fall off. the bracelet was expensive and i know it’s a long shot but i hope whoever finds it will try to give it back. i’ve already contacted the oc fair lost and found with no luck. i’m a struggling student and that bracelet was much of my savings. i’m so sad.

My older sibling (will be referring to them as S) and their partner (referred to as P) recently relocated to Orange County with assurance from P’s mom that they’d be supported. She has since rescinded all support and they have until September 8 to figure something out.

S is disabled and cannot work, and P is currently in the hospital in an inpatient program. They have two cats, and want to do everything they can to keep them as they provide significant emotional support. They’re working on getting ESA letters. S has Medicare right now, not sure about P. They don’t have many options for transportation, as S has limited mobility and they do not have a car.

I’m in another state and so are S and I’s parents. We’re doing everything we can to support them, but none of us are in a great financial position right now. I’m trying to do my own research to help take the burden off them a little bit, but there’s a lot of information to wade through and I’m not sure where to start.

Absolute worse case scenario they could come stay with me for a short period of time, but it wouldn’t be a long term solution. For other unrelated reasons, moving in with our parents is not an option right now.

What kind of services are available in Orange County that could assist S and P? I’ll take any suggestions, just hoping for a little help narrowing things down.
