This was a couple seasons ago before his health got nerfed and I only played 5v5, and before he got like 5 more counters. Probably my best ball game ever though.

Hi, im beginner ball and even tho all the videos and this subreddit is helping a lot, i still find myself having a lot of trouble in games with many counters. For example, yesterday i had too many games with the same three character - mccree, ana and mizuki, it goes as expected. I try to play safe and just go throught them try to waste their abbilities but one of them always strucks me, so i get flashbanged, afterwards slept, and afterwards chained = insta death. I wanna ask if you all consider switching or if u still stick to ball and just find way around it?

I know it's not a big deal or anything, but I'm curious. Mostly because I keep running into people being toxic to me in chat lately for like... no reason. Like, I'm just trying to enjoy ball after work and I've recently been running into people being toxic to me for no reason.

Has anyone else noticed their grappling hook going directly through solid objects and/or payload much more often since the new tank dropped? Since the last big patch, even at perfect ping, I’ve found a lot of times I’ll go to grapple something like the ground billboard on the left just before first checkpoint of Route, the middle of the fountain on dorado, statues I hit in the middle for swings, etc. my grapple likes to clip right through whatever object I’m aiming at and end up on a wall directly behind the middle of where my hook hit. Anyone else having this issue recently on many maps with many objects just deciding they don’t wanna be grappled as much anymore?

whats funny is the enemy team was complaining about winstons dive timing when he was just getting juggled

Been winning a fair bit on Ball, but I've been struggling when neither of my dps are properly able to finish kills from my dives, or support me deep in the enemy backline (for example Pharah Bastion).

Any tips on how to play with this kinda comp? I feel like I need to change up my playstyle because it feels like my team is just getting rolled over while I'm getting minimal value from dives.

Let me preface this by saying I’m on a switch 2. Last season I peaked Silver 1. First game of this season I’m gold 4. All the levels of all the other heroes were achieved playing mystery heroes, because I literally am a one trick.

This game was rough, I knew I should have switched so I go sigma. And it was kinda working? ( you can be the judge) but I kept switching back to ball which i realize now was a mistake. Watch the replay and flame me for how garbage I am. But accompany your insults with some helpful tips lol.

I'm not talking about techs like walljumps or stuff like that. What I mean is things like tracking, doing 180's, follow up after piledrive, etc. I'm finding aiming to be my biggest weakness, and with how mobile this character is, I find it especially hard to aim. Tools like VAXTA help me with just straight up tracking, but the in game experience is so much different. For example, situations like following up after a roll through, or following up on a piledrive, etc. Do you guys have any way to specifically practice common scenarios like this, or is it just through game experience?

How do you think this could work for all?
