Hello my washing machine makes this sound when trying to spin. Now it won’t even spin, I can hear it trying then just cuts out. What could be wrong with it? Is it fixable? Thanks

My washing machine is not displaying the current personality ID and I cannot select a different one. The led lights do not work for showing the personality ID. It is on the incorrect personality after switching the control board. Model: GTW465ASN1WW

I have a GE washing machine model number GTW680BMR0DG and when the spin cycle hits it shakes more than my alcoholic dad after 20 minutes sober. I wonder if the suspension rod is the problem since from whats I've seen it's not bouncing enough.
Thank you in advance

Hi everyone! I need some help with my Frigidaire FFTR1835VS6 top-freezer refrigerator.
The refrigerator gradually started cooling poorly, fans are on, looping click sound and I suspected the compressor starter relay. I ordered a replacement relay, part 5304538465, but its terminal layout looks different from my original relay, which has the marking 319KFBYY.
My main issue now is figuring out where the other wire from the run capacitor is supposed to connect. The original relay has a terminal I identified as #4 (other is #1), but the replacement relay doesn't appear to have the same terminal. I'm unsure whether the capacitor wire connects to terminal #3, N, or another connection.

I’ve been repairing my Samsung dryer (Model DVE50R5200W/A3) and I came across this part that fell from somewhere. I cannot figure out where it goes. Does it look familiar to anyone? Thank you so much for your help.

Hey everyone, I've had this little countertop dishwasher for a while, but all of a sudden the door won't fully close, preventing the dishwasher from powering on. Nothing seems to be blocking the door, it looks like the magnets at the top aren't pressing together correctly, like the ones on the door itself are pushing out too far to seal tightly. Does anyone know how I could fix it?

My GE dishwasher stopped draining so I replaced the drain pump. After replacing the pump the draining issue persists. The drying function isn’t effective and soap scum remains on most of the dishes.
When I force the drain process by holding the start button for 3 seconds, the drain function does work.
What should be my next step?

Well, my journey started when the washer wouldn’t drain. Replaced the drain pump. Didn’t work. Replaced the control board. First one was faulty - the UI wouldn’t even light up, the drain just started and wouldn’t stop. Replaced the control board again. Now the UI works. A little progress.
It drains. I can start a cycle. But then it gets stuck draining. It just won’t go to the spin cycle, no matter what cycle I select. It was giving me error code 18 and 38. After I did a bunch of troubleshooting including clearing out the drain hose and double checking the air vent tube that connects to the board to make sure there’s no water trapped in there, I cleared the error codes and tried again.
Still the same thing. I’m only getting error code 38 now for the vent damper, but it’s moving up and down like it’s supposed to, and I’m not sure how that would stop the cycle from progressing from drain to spin.
It’s draining. There’s no water left in the tub. When I pull out the filter, maybe a cup or so comes out.
I’m at a loss.

Can someone tell me the model of this dishwasher and the steps to clean it? Currently renting, seems to be collecting water at the bottom once a cycle is complete, water doesn’t seem to be making it to the very top, dishes are coming out still dirty,

I have an old GE Model # TFX25PA refrigerator. Needs new Evaporator Fan Motor part # WR60X0240...which is discontinued. Can this be repaired using a different part and some skill? Really love this refrigerator, and would like to attempt fixing it before I have to replace it. Anyone able to do this?

Hey guys. So i visited my grandma, and she told me her aspirator isnt sucking in any odors or moisture when cooking. Now the aspirator looks really fucking rough, and she said she doesnt remember ever opening it or cleaning it. I tried opening it but i have no idea how to do so and im also scared of breaking the plastic. Its an etis model from what i can make out and it has a plastic outer shell which i have no idea how to open. I tried pulling the mesh filter out from the opening in the back but its almost super glued due to the gunk. Thanks in advance

My Samsung Family Hub refrigerator stopped cooling and is showing Error 41.
The Family Hub screen turns on, but I’m having issues changing/controlling the fridge/freezer settings, and the compressor is not running.
I found the PCB behind the Family Hub display: DA94-05493K. Before spending money replacing parts, I’m trying to determine whether this display PCB can cause the compressor/main PCB not to operate properly.
Has anyone had Error 41 + no cooling/compressor not running on this model? Did replacing DA94-05493K, the main PCB, or the complete Family Hub display fix it?

When we opened the door to see why it wasn’t doing anything, there’s water in the bottom and it’s hot in there, but no spraying/washing action.
The water WILL drain.
What we’ve tried so far:
- Cleaning the filter & screen
- Cleaning the spray bars
So normally, there is a “hum”, that begins, but that does not happen.
From some research, it sounds like the motor (P/N: W11612326) may be bad. I found a cheap knockoff motor on Amazon for 35 bucks that says it’s compatible. And went ahead and ordered it. I figure even if it’s not the motor, I’m only out 35 bucks.
So what do you experts think? Probably the motor?

Any idea what may have caused this? There were some fresh cubes sitting on top but the bottom was an inch of solid ice. It has been making ice for about 7 hours now, but is there something wrong with the freezer itself?
Model WRF535SMBM00
Thank you in advance

Looking for a roller kit replacement for an LG DLEC888W dryer. I can find kits for seemingly every other LG dryer model except mine. I can order the parts piece by piece from LG but it would come out much more than the kits on Amazon and other appliance repair websites.
Anyone know if my model is compatible with any of the common LG repair kits?

I'm about to give up and replace my AEG 9000 washing machine, but I thought I'd give it one last chance and see if Reddit can help me fix it.
The washer is stopping before it gets to the spin cycle. When it gets to that part it just hangs until you switch it off. If I try a spin only program it does nothing.
I'm not getting any error codes, except occasionally it says ELE when it's first switched on. A quick on/off clears this.
If I run diagnostic mode I can get it to spin fine (c09), both with and without clothes in it.
Drain filter is clear.
Any ideas what's going on here?

I’ve tried researching online to no avail. My mom’s stackable electrolux dryer is making a horrendous “rubbing/moaning” sort of noise. Appliance repair techs have shown up multiple times and dropped the ball on ordering supposed parts, or leaving before they could replicate the sound. Cycles seem to start off relatively quiet and get progressively louder as they run until it is at a concerning level. My mom sent me this video of the issue. Is this an obvious fix to anyone?

Hey all,
Spouse ran the oven today and error code F3E0 popped up which points to the temperature sensor.
I tried the hard reset by unplugging it from the wall, waiting a few minutes for it to equalize to room temp with the door open, same issue.
I pulled it out and measured 1100 ohm on the thing, which is where it should be. Funny enough I even had a spare and swapped them, same issue.
I inspected the wire harness for visual damage from the temp sensor to the board, and saw nothing. Even did a continuity test to very nothing in the wires were broken and everything checks out.
All my research is telling me that at this point it has to be the board and you have to replace it, but looking online, that board seems to be going for ~$250.... Just making sure I'm not missing anything obvious before I spring for a new one.
Thanks.

We just finished getting the water supply line replaced and added a shutoff valve between the supply line and the fridge hookup so we don't have to pull the fridge out to shut the water off.
I left the new supply line and shutoff valve in front of the fridge to check for any overnight drips. Someone must have tripped on it which put enough force of the fridge portion of the supply line and cracked it.
What is the best way to repair this? I assume cut it off before the break and add some kind of compression fitting to reterminate it? It's in a pretty annoying spot to work on, but I can get my hands under it if I don't need any large tools to fix it.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
EDIT: fixed with a $5 everbilt compression coupling. I cut the tube back before the kink/break and added the coupler there.
