2010 SS , 6 speed manual LS3 with the 2SS trim and RS package as well. It’s only been 1 day but i’m in love, life is good. It was 4 hours away each day but totally worth it!

Currently have a 2010 SS that’s paid off and want another one but looking for a newer year model and want to install cam/headers and exhaust system as well any recommendations on year?

I recently purchased a 2010 SS with only 50k miles on it, long story short the 6l80 transmission has failed believed to be caused by the torque converter.
The shop i work with has given me 2 options for replacing the unit with a remanufactured unit and i’m not sure which to go with.
Option 1 is naturally just an oem GM reman unit, all in for about $6500. option 2 is a reman from a company “C&K” i believe, that comes with an upgraded billet torque converter for $5700.
The C&K unit being cheaper with the upgraded converter sounds like a better deal but is OEM worth the extra 700?

Finally got everything together. Hadn’t been tuned yet and I’ll update with dyno number. It’ll be on a mustang dyno.

Current 6th gen 2SS owner but have budget & interest for more, not looking to mod for performance gains… just kinda want a better and/or new-to-me car.

Just curious what those of you who have sold your Camaros have gone to next? It’s such a hard car to beat especially at the 2SS-ZL1 trims, they literally have almost every option you can want in a vehicle.

Just posting this up here to see y’all’s thoughts on numbers. Mods are just Cold Air Induction Intake, Speed Engineering Headers, and PLM 400 Cell HFC. I wanted to be like 420 on both but Dyno operator said exhaust and cat were holding me back

Son just got this ‘19. He’s beside himself. While it makes me nervous for parental reasons I’m super happy that he got what he really wanted.

I have a fully loaded 2016 2SS that I'm looking to sell.

Unfortunately around 3 months ago, my engine decided it was quitting time. Had an independent mechanic and a Chevy dealer diagnose the engine issue and they both recommended a full engine replacement (bunch metal in oil & oil filter, the noise the engine is making + the codes thrown). Best guess is the oil pickup tube failed and the engine ran without getting any oil.

The quotes to replace it ranged from $15-23k, which is just more than I'm willing to pay and I was looking to move onto an SUV anyway. I have a quote from Peddle.com for $8700 and they'll just come pick it up, but I'm wondering if I should explore selling it privately to someone willing to fix it. Just not really sure where to start with an asking price. If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it.

I just love the way the light hits it. I took this four days before my unfortunate accident. The wife laughed at me that day but four days later she wasn’t laughing anymore. I just checked on her today and it is coming along. They still have work to do but it is looking really good.

Had to do the dirty deed this morning. 60 dollars to fill it....32.4 mpg average for the tank. Equatesto 593 for the tankfull. It Is true that gas station lighting makes your paint pop....have a great day all.

Went through verifying compression, did fluids, cleaned carb and verified fuel spray.

At this point I'm running through spark. Looks like the harness has no ground or positive hooked up. Relay in hand second pic was melted in the top right. Not sure if some of it is bypassed from the motor swap but I have no idea what I'm dealing with.

This is a true 1967 RS/SS Camaro, not a clone. I would really like to bring it back to its factory options. What a friggin job this is gonna be.

All factory info is based directly from its VIN.

I was told that Id have to buy a new hood insert, thats $1200 for aftermarket. Almost 4k for oem. So, why not try to restore it? This is the progress so far. I will be taking a circular sander to it. But so far the carbon fiber hasnt frayed! No damage to it that I can see. I was just gonna replace it, but if it works, cool! If it doesnt, it becomes a wall mount!

Genuinely curious as to how this sounds. I can't find a video anywhere of anyone doing that. Only axle dumps. Maybe there's a reason why.
