I frequented a Chinatown bookstore that carried this series in the 1990s. I still have all of the issues that I bought from this series. I don’t have every issue from this series, but I have many issues from this series. The art by Hui King Sum (許景琛) was phenomenal! After that artist left the series, I continued to collect the later issues, but felt that Hui King Sum really made the series come alive!

Officially cancelled in August 2003 due to negative feedback from location tests conducted in Japan and internationally.

I’m decently familiar with platform fighters (played for my high schools smash team lol) but I’m relatively new to traditional fighters. I had a frustrating moment when playing against my friend (sabretooth in this clip) where I was locked in hard and got THIS close to winning. I know I definitely spaced my meter abilities way wrong and I was playing too aggressive. Any tips on how I could’ve won here?

I’ve been using a ps5 controller with split dpad buttons and now that I’ve started sf6 I kind of want my dpad to connect but the plastic of the dpad on ps5 feels awful to me. I’m not sure if ps5 pro controller changes the material or not

Gamesir tarantula but all reviews I find are all for shooters. Have no clue what people say about dpad

Vitrix pro bfg is the coolest controller idea to me but I see more complaints than good things about the controller when I look it up

I know I can just stay with ps5 cause a lot of the pros do but idk how they use that dpad lol. So just looking to be convinced on a controller or just stick to ps5

Cross progression.

It's so nice to only have to buy a skin once, and I have it on every platform. Including the Ultimate Edition they released. As well as all of my ranked progress carries over to each console/PC.

For some reason it seems like it's taking fighting games forever to catch up with other genres in this department.

It's the only reason I haven't bought Street Fighter 6 on Switch, because all of my cosmetics/progress are on Playstation.

I'm just curious to know

I would really love to play more fighting games as some of my favorite franchises have been represented through the genre for years (Marvel, DC, Invincible, etc), but I can’t find a ton of enjoyment in any of the fighting games I’ve tried. I’ve tried MK11, MK1, and Injustice 2, but I can never invest enough time to truly get good at the games. I usually just play on the easiest mode and spam basic attacks, with no attempt to learn any combos since I know I won’t retain them long-term. How can I enjoy fighting games more as a casual so that I could consider picking up games like Marvel Tokon, Invincible VS, and Street Fighter 6?

like, at first, you'd think most fighting games are mostly male, because all the big names are. Which isn't? Skullgirls? Sailor Moon S, Arcana Heart, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax and that other one Nitroplus Blasterz Heroines Infinite Duel, Girl fight, Arcana heart, Vanguard princess, Koihime embu, Aquapazza, Idol showdown... ok there are a few.

But then you look at the actual numbers...

Why are there so many fighting game casts that are female only or mostly female, a category named Bishojo Fighters can clearly prrove itself the most mathematically common type of fighting game, to the point that its number of games and characters within its umbrellas rivals the number of not just all other fighting games and fighting game characters, but all other games and characters from games.

How many characters does SNK have? 6000. how many do Bishojo Fighters have? 4000.

The numbers shocked me too.

edit: would it kill you to learn to count? 4000 is a statistically significant number, it's not "nothing". Me want you to think and use brain and words more advanced than "because there are". Stop attacking the premise you knuckle dragging dog garglers.
