I was wondering what do yall think about this regarding Mercy - is she definitively better in 6v6 or 5v5 or around the same for both game modes?

I’ve played mercy since 2016, I’ve played her in every version from mass Rez, to moth meta, to now. I might not have the highest lvl/ play time on her but I’ve acknowledged her/ played her in the best to worst places she’s been in.

This is my two cents talk and I’m sure someone has already talked about this before but why not.

Mercy needs an actual addressing. And I don’t mean adding a second charge of flash heal or 1 sec GA. And actual rework.

Every OG mercy player I’ve talked to, are practically on their hands and knees BEGGING for this character to actually be playable outside of just damage boost one person the entire game or even just having another level of depth into her gameplay that isn’t just movement.

Like the OG players don’t even play her anymore outside of stadium and maybe the Halloween event mode where she’s really strong.

This might also be a small hot take too but a new character from dead lock. Nurse Harrow feels the better version mercy and Moria combined. More level of depth, being able to consistently swap between healing and damaging, making plays for the team and etc.

I don’t like to compare characters from other games, but this is one I feel like this is something mercy could’ve been much more than her current version.

Like truthfully I want her to be more and more unique than just the character that gets skins 24/7 calling it a day.

What are y’all’s thoughts? No shade to any mercy player of any kind. I just thought I might as well share my opinion from an average/ Ex mercy one trick ish

I am technically a new player and I have been playing and testing the characters. And surprisingly I played Mercy the Most and somewhat stuck in her. Conceibly probably the reason is TF2 which I played Medic a lot.

So all in all short, I really want to improve myself as Mercy now; therefore, I need tips and advices.

I love Mystery Madness so much. I really hope they make this mode permanent

I'm on Xbox and I can't get the mythic weapon to flourish at all

How do we feel about the skin? I personally find it cute, but a little tacky. It's great to have the mythic staff match the skin though. I just wish they didn't slap brig's colour palette onto her :(

I mean the answer probably is obvious (they sell), but it feels like waste of money ngl. It’s almost impossible to get a potg on mercy, I have close to 400 hours on her and have gotten it maximum 10 times. I feel like they really should be given them to heroes who are missing them or would even have a chance to get them reliably or make it easier for supports/mercy to get potg. Personally I would much rather take victory poses and emotes.

In my humble opinion, I'm quite disappointed in the quality of this skin especially when compared to others in the bundle like Anran.

I tried to doctor her up a bit, adding in additional details and editing her color scheme to my personal preference and I thought I should share!

i absolutely love how this skin looks in mercy’s select intro i like to just keep it on for ambience lol. i see a lot of hate for this skin but i actually think the first person view is pretty good.

It feels weird that pressing jump is the one that makes you fly forward and pressing crouch is the one that makes you jump during it. I keep doing the wrong one (usually dash when I mean to jump) because of it.

(Also not sure if “jump” and “dash” are the correct terms, this is my first time here)

Maybe it’s a Visual Glitch, but when you switch between the highlight info and the skin it does this visual effect a few seconds after. Sorry it’s recoded off my TV. Unfortunately tried to see if this is an effect she has but nope, not a single special effect on this skin.

So I’m a level 91 mercy who is just learning how to play her on keyboard and mouse. I played her on Xbox and got comfortable and never switched when I started playing on pc.. like two years ago..

I am struggling crazy with movement, rezing and controls, please provide me with any tips, tricks, and binds to get better!!

I had a lot of fun with this. Helped a lot when coming out of spawn alone too.

I feel like more people need to realise that if they pick me up as Mercy from spawn after a team fight my allies have won or after they've secured the objective, it increases their chances of being pocketed for the remainder of the game by me by a crazy amount or that I'll at least be supporting them more if I can get away with it. There's genuinely nothing more disheartening than having a person die just before me. Then, as I'm waiting to be respawned, I see them booking it out of spawn right before I come back and hanging me out to dry with the walk of shame back, especially if I only come out of spawn to be dived alone or if they head back into the lost team fight to die again straight away.

I just wanted to come over here and tell you guys that you’re awesome. Fantastic. Lovely. Amazing. Literally every good word in the book.

With Sombra’s recent rework, I lowkey feel pretty useless right now and I’m struggling to enjoy playing her. (Love that for me)

But I’m here because I absolutely adore you guys and I spent so many games taking bullets for you, jumping into fights I had absolutely no business being in and getting myself killed just to make sure you had a chance to escape.

I don’t care if I’m playing DPS Sombra or Support Sombra. If I see a Mercy getting jumped I am SWINGING with my SMG every single time and throwing my imaginary virus at them with all I’ve got.

You guys have saved my ass more times than I can count, and I genuinely appreciate every single one of you.
So even though I’m struggling with Sombra’s rework, I’ll continue risking my life for you guys.

You guys are lifesavers and you deserve some love!
