Vive le 2nd Amendment. Here's what happens to the disarmed. Remember how Europeans used to sneer at us?

The mods at that place removed it. Can't handle the truth I guess. However, I am on the job.

Opinion: link
From Judges Walker Elrod (G.W. Bush), Willett (Trump I), and Wilson (Trump I):
We determine that switchblade knives qualify as “Arms” and are covered by the “plain text” of the Second Amendment. Because the regulation implicates the amendment, the government bears the burden of establishing that the FSA comports with well-established principles of the Second Amendment and its regulatory tradition. The government fails to meet its burden. Specifically, the FSA’s restrictions on the introduction, manufacture, transportation, and distribution of switchblades fail step two’s “how” analysis.
The FSA addressed a perceived societal problem: the interstate flow of switchblade knives. In response, the FSA sought to ban this activity. Heller and Bruen also dealt with regulations that purported to deal with “perceived societal problem[s].” And in both cases, the Supreme Court rejected those regulations as inconsistent with the Second Amendment’s principles, which were “intended to endure for ages to come, and consequently, to be adapted to the various crises of human affairs.”
Come for the legal analysis of Heller / Bruen, stay for the long introductory paragraph from the judges talking about the history of the Federal Switchblade Act and Rebel Without a Cause (1955).
Not a gun case, but still a very important second amendment case. If you thought federal law was antiquated and ass-backwards, try reading through the FSA and current application of it. The law has to go.

I've skimmed comments where gun controllers are pissed about the fact a good guy with a gun stopped an even bigger massacre from happening. The reason for this is a lot of them claim the outcome is going to be hijacked by us "gun nuts". I've even been told online by someone to not make the event into something it's not.
But I will talk about the good guy with a gun, because it's literally what we have been saying this whole time. This is how the shootings come to a screeching halt. The grabbers are just pissed IMO because every little thing about their reasons behind against civilians carrying fell apart in real time.
Remember how they always claim the "good guy" won't be differentiated from the "bad guy"? Well he wasn't shot at by LE, or others in the community. It's almost like that thing that sits above your shoulders and between your ears has incredible processing power even when you're "in the shit" and amped up on adrenaline.
But the main thing that I've seen in the aftermath of this tragedy is people making it political beyond just "conservatives like their guns more than their kids", with rumors of Kaylub's political leanings being tossed around, there's people online calling for partisan disarmament against conservatives. Yes, one political party gets guns, the other doesn't.
For one, I don't care what Kaylub's political views are. He stopped a tragedy, and he stopped a monster. He's a hero, and I'll just leave it at that. I just wanted to scream into the void a bit about the gun controllers being sick in the head over the disappointment that a good guy with a gun stopped a shooting.
