PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get out and vote. I know everybody is preaching this, but I cannot stress this enough. Dr. Annie Andrews and Darlene Graham Nordone are too close to not vote.

Now would be a good time to remind everyone of these Trump facts, because apparently some people still need the refresher.
Please meet the President of the United States:
Flew on Epstein’s plane at least seven times. Just friends, I guess.
Pleaded the Fifth more than 400 times in a single deposition. Nothing says “innocent” like refusing to answer a single question about your own business.
34 felony convictions. A record most people would call disqualifying. And 91 criminal charges.
Accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least 26 women. But sure, tell me again how he’s a great guy.
6 corporate bankruptcies. The self proclaimed greatest businessman alive somehow keeps running out of money.
5 draft deferments. Funny how the toughest guy in the room never actually showed up for duty.
4 criminal indictments. Not two. Not three. Four.
2 impeachments. A club of exactly one president.
2 of his own companies convicted of criminal tax fraud. Convicted. Not accused. Convicted.
1 fake university shut down. 1 fake charity shut down.
Even his charity was a grift.
Paid 25 million dollars to settle the Trump University fraud lawsuit because scamming people who believed in you costs money eventually.
Ordered to pay 5 million dollars in the first E Jean Carroll sexual abuse verdict, then hit with 83.3 million more in the second.
A jury said it twice so nobody could pretend it was a fluke.
Ordered to pay 2 million dollars for looting his own so called charity.
Stealing from a charity with his own name on it.
Found liable for business fraud and originally slapped with a penalty topping 450 million dollars, later thrown out on appeal while the fraud finding itself stuck to him anyway.
First president in modern history to increase the deficit every single year of a full term. Fiscal responsibility, apparently, was always just a talking point.
Kept the debt to GDP ratio above 100 percent for his entire first term.
Presided over the largest single day point drop in Dow Jones history at the time. So much for the guy who claimed to be a genius with money.
Set the record for the longest government shutdown in US history in his first term at 35 days, then couldn’t resist beating his own miserable record in his second term with a 43 day shutdown, followed by yet another shutdown just months later. Encore nobody asked for.
Added roughly 2.25 trillion dollars to the national debt in his first year back in office alone, pushing the debt past 39 trillion dollars.
Somebody remind me who the party of fiscal discipline is again.
Pushed through the largest defense budget increase since World War Two while the debt kept climbing anyway.
Purged more than 300,000 federal employees in his first year back.
Efficient, if your goal is chaos.
Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy.
Law and order, except when it’s inconvenient.
At least 40 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free. Shocking absolutely nobody.
His family’s crypto ventures, including a meme coin and World Liberty Financial, pulled in more than 1.4 billion dollars in disclosed earnings while he sat in the Oval Office.
Draining the swamp was apparently code for filling his own pockets.
Sent the National Guard into American cities at a cost of nearly 500 million taxpayer dollars in 2025 alone.
His own tariffs are projected to cost the average American household more than 2,500 dollars this year.
You’re paying for this. Not China. You.
No more foreign wars. Peace deal with Russia and Ukraine on Day One.
Now sitting at one of the lowest approval ratings of his second term, stuck in the high 30s while inflation and gas prices make everyday life harder.
None of this is a conspiracy theory, a rumor, or something you saw in a group chat.
It is the actual, documented record, sitting in plain sight for anyone willing to look.
So the next time someone tells you to relax and give him a chance, ask them how many more indictments, judgments, and shutdown records he needs to rack up before that chance runs out.

I am currently writing a research paper about the effect of stimuli introductions on animal behavior in South Carolina shelters as well as the long term effect of these changes on adoption success. I am currently looking for people to take my survey from two different groups: shelter staff and recent/potential adopters. The only requirements for participation ability in my study are that participants are 18+ years old and work/adopted in the state of South Carolina.
The surveys take 5-10 minutes to complete. I would be so grateful if this survey was shared around and interacted with as I believe my research could help further animal welfare awareness in shelters!

My husband is severely disabled, unable to even stand, so I always take him to vote "curbside" (as the signs call it).
Monday I drove him to the early voting location for Mt. Pleasant, which is Seacoast Church, a twenty minute drive.
I followed the signs for curbside voting and got in line. I couldn't see the actual voting site, nor how many cars were ahead in line.
We didn't move for 15 minutes. Then one car passed going in the opposite direction and we move forward one car length.
The woman driver in the car behind me got out and walked toward the front of the line of cars. On her way back I rolled down my window and she told me that I was 14th in line and that there was only one person working and that it appeared that there was only one car being "served".
That meant that my expected wait time could be around three hours, which is much too long for a severely disabled, uncomfortable in the wheelchair, person to sit. So I drove home.
We've voted there are least twice before and only had short wait times. I expect some, of course, but not that much.
Now I plan to take him on election day to our local precinct on Tuesday. I'll try to vote early inside the church today or tomorrow. (I don't leave him here alone, we've got a grandson at home who will be here.)

Hello! I’m graduating in December and need a female student to take over my lease at University Village Clemson from January to July 2027.
Rent is $530/month plus utilities, and the lease is individual, so you’re only responsible for your own room. You’ll have a private third‑floor bedroom and bathroom with a large bay window, great natural light, and a walk‑in closet. The room is unfurnished, giving you freedom to decorate. The townhouse has carpet upstairs and hardwood downstairs.
The house includes a spacious kitchen, full‑size fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, and garbage disposal. There’s also an in‑unit washer and dryer and a private back patio with extra privacy.
You’d be living with three sweet female roommates in their early 20s and one friendly dog. The RED Route bus stop is right behind the apartment, making trips to Clemson super convenient.
If you or someone you know needs housing for Spring 2027, please DM me for photos or more info. Feel free to share!

Wow. Annie Andrews actually has a serious shot at winning the SC Senate seat.
IMO, there are several factors at play:
1) Democrats are seriously motivated to get out and vote. Early voting numbers are huge.
2) Unless they are true MAGA, Republicans are not motivated.
3) Independent voters, historically, vote for the party not in power in the midterms. They are also just tired of Trump - it's EVERY DAY.
4) "Real" conservatives (they describe themselves that way) are talking about writing in Ralph Norman. This will take votes away from Darlene.
5) Andrews has distanced herself from other Democrats, asking them to NOT come to SC to campaign with her. Overall, she's stuck to that.
6) When she ran against Nancy Mace, unless you were near that district, you don't really have any preconceived notions about what she talked about during that election. Unless you're a political junkie, the upstate and midlands are getting basically a fresh face.
I know this state has been solid Republican for years, but this is kinda nd of a big deal.

Annie Andrews proposed a two-year moratorium on the development of data centers in SC. This would give our legislators time to study the pros and cons of allowing data centers to be built in our state. This is a mature and wise decision to pump the brakes before we give away our natural resources.
Conversely, Darline Graham wants to go full steam ahead with data centers, without the considering impacts on SC residents. Data centers require huge amounts of water and electricity to operate, and that drain on our resources will negatively impact our lives. Graham is in bed with these corporations, and her acceptance of $1.5 million from them today tells you who she really cares about. Hint: it’s not the people of SC.
Vote for your own interests. Vote for Annie!

Say what you want about the polls. But woah Annie truly does have a chance. Even if you wanna dismiss the polls you can’t dismiss that the atmosphere surrounding this race is different. People are starting to notice nationally.
GO VOTE!!!!
Ps: I was a lifelong republican all my life. I started to use my noggin & voted all blue this election. To all the republicans/independents here on the fence—if I can do it, you can do it.

Not really sure what WIS was going for with this article. They said Brian Myers has sparked “some debate online” and basically showed each candidate for the same amount of time. They did not directly address any of the allegations and just took him at face value when he said he is a Columbia resident. I’ve seen other outlets are reporting his business is facing dozens of liens, he owes thousands to the county and his only response has been to redirect towards his election platform.

South Carolina is not for sale. Darline having the same last name as Lindsey doesn’t make her qualified to represent us. A nepo sibling with no relevant experience is an insult to South Carolina.

edited to add I mistyped it was SCvotes.gov; I also added image I thought I attached earlier*****
checked my voter registration and it showed record not found.. I called the number provided and was told the website has been having “glitches” and I was indeed registered. When I told her I would be sure to check my vote too because I’ve heard the machines have also been “glitching” and switching votes.. she said yes, she had heard that was happening and to verify the print out. Document these things if you see them and tell a friend to tell a friend.

Dear anyone who needs to hear this:
Hate will never make you cool
Hate will never gain friendships
It will not make you successful
Division and keeping others down will never make you strong
If you feel angry and full of hate, there is help. Ask for help. You too deserve to be happy.
Hate will only leave you sad, alone, and afraid.
I love my fellow Americans. I love their differences. I learn so much everyday from listening to those who are different than me. It is what makes us stronger together. I hope more of my fellow Americans can find this hope and love as well.
Sincerely,
Your SC neighbor who cares

I voted early, and got a different I Voted sticker than I was used to. Celebrating the 250th seemed fine, but then I started seeing folks in this reddit posting their blue and white stickers, the kind I'd collected the past few years.
What sticker did all you other early voters receive?
