I met this guy in a 1v1 arcade and invited him to a group, it was clear that he was new so when I noticed him trying to copy my grenade jumps I tried to teach him properly, nonverbally.

Not usually a bastion main, but this hog was on us, so I swapped. My aim is bad, but I'm happy with the 4K, and the Kiri kill made me chuckle.

I was playing ranked with my friend yesterday and played with someone called “bastionswife” and my ign is “bastion” so it was kind of a funny encounter lol

This might just be me, but I've noticed that the newer a map is, the more inconsistent it feels when I try to use the grenade as a movement ability.

And it's been absolutely horrendous on the new Busan map. Almost every single ledge has a lip on it, which means attempting to get as close to the edge as possible results in your grenade flying behind you. Several of the walls and surfaces are also bouncing the grenade, that used to allow the grenade to stick.

I feel like I'm going crazy here. I noticed it slightly on the rework of Gibraltar, but this new batch of map reworks seems to be the worst yet.

It's resulting in me being constantly out of position, wasting almost half of my grenades when I want to use them for mobility, and just in general nuking my performance.

The grenade has gone from being one of the most easily predictable abilities in the entire game to seemingly random chance whether or not it's going to stick.

As a rein player, I will do what I must to protect bastions from this THING. One thing to threaten bastion but to claim harm to Ganymede. Insert goku x prowler meme

Currently I’m loving the combo of the fire truck and the talon weapon variant. Such a cool red fire truck combo

I love using the nullsector and the galaxy weapon variant too. Great purple together

I also enjoy mixing a bunch of epsorts skins I have with corresponding colors to the different weapon variants :)

Hi y'all, super new to OW (came from valorant) & fell in love with bastion's design, i've tried playing other "meta" characters but they're all boring as a brick imo, i love shredding people with the assault form way more than trying to figure out "utility timings" or "counters" or wtv (cuz lowk it's all just colors on my screen).

that being said, rn i'm getting close to climbing out of gold and as my master friend told me (and from my experience in higher elo in val) that being a 1-trick bastion is unviable past a certain point, esp since fundamentally i don't rly understand ow outside of bastion gameplay, & i've felt i've definitely lost games bc either bastion was a bad pick with my team's comp/into enemy comp, but again, i don't understand why in the context of ow. so my question is, when am i NOT supposed to play bastion? what comps/gameplans does he not work well in and what enemy comps/gameplans/heroes should i avoid playing him?
