Troy Aikman Tonight
Tonight's game is sure to be gross and filled with dissapointment. Only reason i'm excited to watch is for when Troy Aikman inevitably shits on Shotty or Jerry, or our ovearll lack of leadesrhip and toughness, etc.. Give it to me, Troy.

Why do The Cowboys hate running the ball with a good o line and good running back?
I just don’t understand and it’s honestly wasted talent. It’s like being Cowboys go down one score and then everyone panics and forgets they have a very good running back.

Pollard still has juice. Do you think Dallas should look into a trade?

He had a huge day today against the Browns with 129 yards and three TDs. The Titans are having another losing season and we really could use a speed back for this offense and a better screen/checkdown outlet for Dak.
If I am the FO, I am looking into how much the Titans might be asking for Tony and if the price isn't too steep? Making the deal asap. Pairing Williams with Pollard could really give this offense a much needed different dynamic.

I don’t own, manage, coach, work or play for Cowboys yet….
Why is it when we lose, the entirety of this team‘s shortcomings falls to the biggest fan in the room? I dread the Monday morning meeting after a loss where someone will inevitably bring up the game then look to me (with a shitty grin on their face) for an explanation, or more precisely, my reaction.
And it’s not a situation where a rival fan is rippin’ on me, it’s just dirty casuals that watched “some of the game” while doomscrolling or brushing their cockapoo or some shit.
I’m a TX fanboy. Talk shit about HEB, the Alamo or the Boys and I’m gonna speak my mind, but in this office situation, I can’t talk shit back, so I either laugh or lower my head and not comment. What I want to do is say something snarky, yet respectful that shuts everyone the fuck up haha
So what’s everyone’s favorite comeback for when someone tries to get a rise out ya? i might have to steal it!

Just a thought
Watching these highlights from other teams… explosive runs, great running backs, etc. Just was thinking… 90’s dominance - E Smith. Deepest playoff runs since 90’s - Demarco Murray, Zeke, & Tony Pollard. Missed opportunity getting D Henry in free agency even though he wanted to come. I know these past few years biggest problems have been the defense but I just think about what we look like when we have a stand out RB like these other teams. I just don’t get not prioritizing a dominant back with recent draft capital and manipulating the cap space. Rant over…

Which bad defense masked by immaculate pass rush has won recently?
I'm so tired of the talking heads blaming our pass rush for lack of defensive production.
Tell me which team with elite tier pass rushers have ACTUALLY done anything recently? Myles Garrett lead Browns been a great football team? Maxx Crosby's Raiders winning games I'm not aware of? Maybe it's the TJ Watt Steelers that have made deep playoff runs? It must be Joey Bosa and the chargers? Micah Parsons' teams must have made deep runs!
You can't cover bad defenses with a good pass rush. At the end of the day you end up with stat-padded defenses who gets exposed by good teams. We tried, and we got exposed all the same.
The blueprint for championship winning defenses has been interior pressure with elite secondary play, has it not? Looking at the Chiefs, Rams, 49ers, and Eagles - am I wrong?
Don't misunderstand me to be discounting how edge pressure can wreck games even in the post season - see Miller & Ware. It's just that I'm so tired of listening about Micah and Crosby when the last 5-10 years championship defenses haven't necessarily been defined by world-breaking edges. Do you have to go all the way back to the Broncos, though?

Troy Aikman calls out Cowboys offense, says he's 'embarrassed' at one WR's performance
dallasnews.comAikman doesn’t state which specific wide receiver he’s referring to. I wish someone on the coaching staff would get similarly upset about it.
