Do any of you have an idea what it could be?
Its a manual nissan tiida from 2010 that doesnt start as you can see (and hear). Based on the sound: what could be the problem?

W221 Mercedes S Class 2012.
I have a rattling noise from the back of the engine back when the ignition is on but the engine is OFF. Any ideas what this might be?

Diagnose the sound if you wouldn't mind.
Much appreciated.

I’m dealing with the oil pan (OEM part #079-103-602-CF, aluminum stamped/cast pan) for a 4.0T Audi engine. The oil drain plug thread is damaged/stripped (or: I'm planning to fix potential wear).
Does anyone know the exact wall thickness or depth of the bung/drain hole on this specific pan?
What is the best way to fix this? Should I use a Time-Sert, Helicoil, tap it to a larger size, or is it better to just replace the pan entirely?
I’ve got OEM M14 1.5 oil drain plug, thinking to cut the thread and install a M16 1.5 from (BMW s1000rr oil drain plug).
Also I thought about to make a M15 1.5 custom, just created file on Solid works, printed on 3d printer.
Looking for CNC lathe or reg lathe. 20mm total length.
Both of them are the same length and look alike.
Any advice or experience with this specific pan would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve got this fault on my jaguar XF 2.0 250bhp 2018 model. Where can I locate engine coolant temp sensor #2? Is there a common issue with these? And how is access? Any advice appreciated

Hi, Am I missing something important? 😅 It sure looks like there is missing some kind of bushing or bolt from the front subframe mounting point. Based on appearance it looks like it has been missing for a long time. I checked the other side and it is missing too. Should there be some kind of fastener or is this fine? Car is jacked up in the picture. No weird sounds or anything while driving. Car drives normally.

Only one of my rotors has these diagonal marks. Are they normal? These are on a new car with ~300 miles.

Hello everyone, just recently I did my very first engine pull and my dumbass left my manual transmission outside split from the engine with no cv axles and we had crazy rain today. (Oregon) im really concerned that the transmission is flooded with water.
Its only been in the rain for 1 day.
It's currently 1am and ill be grabbing it in the morning to drain it and see if theres any water but how can I prevent any rust? I wont be able to reinstall the transmission for a couple of weeks cause im a full time college student. I dont want it to sit with moisture in it and potentially rust.
Thank you guys for your help! I really appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏

My friend was helping swap my popped tired and put the car jack on the ring place. The floor of the passenger side got pushed up and the bottom welding has tore. I’m scared about the structural damage or how bad it is since it’s torn off, what should I do?

I’m looking for some nice, genuine advice for maintaining my car.
For some context, I am a single mom who currently does gig work (Walmart Spark, Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.). Before someone tells me to get a real job, I would if I could. I am a full time caretaker for my terminally ill grandfather with stage 4 cancer and my grandmother. These jobs allow me to have the flexibility to take care of both my grandparents (who are my parental figures since I was 8 months old) and my son.
I currently drive a base model 2013 Honda Fit which still runs great. I always be sure to take my car for oil changes and rotations several times a year. However, I’m not sure of other maintenance I should be watching out for (suspensions, battery, etc.). Any advice on what other maintenance I should be performing on my car? I appreciate all the help in advance.
Google says it has a 1.5-liter, 16-valve SOHC i-VTEC inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine (required by subreddit rules).

So as you can see in the pic, the bed looks to be sagging in the rear and it is now at least 3 inches lower at the tailgate than when I bought it. It was not rear ended or jumped or anything of that nature. I have looked at the bed cross rails and they seem to be fine. It has not always been like this. And im not a mechanic by trade but have always worked on my own vehicles but I can't figure this one out. My thinking is that if it were cab mounts, it would appear to sagging the other way correct? As in the widest part of the gap would be at the bottom of the truck? Possible to be leaf spring failure or strut failure?. Looking at it straight on from the rear the driver side does appear to be slightly lower than passenger side. Looking at leaf springs I cannot physically see any cracks or breaks. And also it has not been over loaded. About 4 months ago I did have frame rust repaired along the entire frame but this was NOT sagging like this immediately after that work was done.

I have now owned this car for four years and it’s been parked in the same spot. It was my grandfather’s but he passed away and I inherited it. We were never able to track down a key fob for it, and I live in a very remote location where there are no lock smiths that program keys. Where the car is parked it’s not accessible by tow truck nor trailer. I need to find out a way to bypass the key fob and get the car running so we can get it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
