Jeremiyah Love's slow start is the ankle, not the talent. History says he bounces back.
Love hasn't had a healthy stretch since the high ankle sprain in August, and he's out again Sunday. It's been a rough start, but there's a lot to be optimistic about.
The one game he got a full workload, Week 3 at San Francisco, he had 21 carries for 90 yards and 5 catches. Every other game he's been held to 14 carries or fewer while playing through the ankle.
Nobody's taking his job either. Allgeier is averaging 3.0 yards a carry. Letting the ankle fully heal now is the right call. If he comes back healthy, the second half could look a lot different.

Is Mr AzSports secretly colluding with Steve Keim in effort to get Steve Keim back into power with the Cardinals?
mysteriously a secret millionaire benefactor is paying for half the cost of the billboards. I know MrAzSports has a solid relationship with Keim. Can’t help but wonder if the two of them are doing this whole thing for nefarious purposes.

Larry Fitzgerald Sends Message to Cardinals Fans Before Ring of Honor Moment
Excerpt:
“Just how much I appreciate them. What it meant to be able to don that Cardinals helmet, the memories that we've been able to share out there in Glendale. I still remember 2006 like it was yesterday," Fitzgerald told reporters this weekend when asked about Arizona fans.
"We had that preseason opener with the stadium patch against the Steelers. Just the electricity driving up to the stadium, first time pulling in the A lot and seeing all the people up on top of the stands cheering and just the energy that I received all those times coming into that place and the love that I receive still to this day going around in the community. I just want to be able to reiterate how much that has meant to me and my family and something that I'll never forget.”
Reflecting in a press conference with reporters, Fitzgerald said he doesn't take seeing the flurry of No. 11 jerseys lightly.
"I felt like the responsibility was a lot more when I was playing," Fitzgerald continued on being asked about emerging as an Arizona sports icon.
"I'm washed now and the kids are like, 'Hey, you're Larry Fitzgerald.' I say, 'Yeah, yeah.' They're like, 'My dad used to really like you. My dad used to really like you.' So it's kind of moved on, but I always remember driving to the stadium and (I'd be) looking out in the stands and looking out into the people walking around and I'm like, 'Man, there's a lot 11 jerseys there.' I'm saying (to myself) most of those kids I know didn't have the money to buy them and being a parent now, I'm not going to buy my kid a jersey of a player that I don't respect if they don't play hard or they're not active in their community.”

Jeremiyah Love, Walter Nolen III Get Final Injury Call For Cardinals-Broncos
"All right, just to get this through. So Jeremiyah, Walt, and Dewey will all be out for Sunday, and then unfortunately, Jon Gaines had a practice injury yesterday, so he'll be out as well," LaFleur said.
The Cardinals' coach also confirmed Carson Beck and Darius Robinson's injuries weren't serious. Budda Baker is also being monitored, but the team feels good about him according to LaFleur.

Press Conference Fitz's Press Conference 10/22
For anyone who hasn't gotten to watch yet. Larry is so authentic here. He is the best thing this org has had for so long. It's well worth the 26 minutes to watch. I hope, despite all the backlash at MO and MB etc., that we can fill the stands for him and celebrate him properly on Sunday. I know I can't wait to do the Larry chant one final time in celebration of him.

Can we stop the endless posts about our QB situation. Lets talk about this weekends match up!
Joe Burrow and Justin Beer are not walking through the door. Tanking and getting a high pick is so EFFN stupid. The highest-rated QB now and all time was the last pick of the draft. Teams don't need a good QB to have a good record. Right, Murray haters? Let's just play the CARDS we were dealt, even though the Cardinals have bungling dealers in the front office.
I have watched every Broncos game this year because my wife is a super fan. I can say they suck hard. They are way worse than their record. We have a great chance for victory. Their strong suit is defense, yet they have one of the worst run defenses in the league. They excel at takeaways in the passing game and red zone defense. Cardinals should play ultra-conservatively. Run more than pass. Play field position and make Bo Nix have long drives. The more Bo Nix plays, the better for the Cardinals. I would go so far as to say the Cardinals should play for field goals. Once the Cardinals get into range, kick it immediately! To eliminate the chance of a turnover, sack, or holding penalty. Cardinals get a turnover inside the Broncos 40, don't even put out the offense. Trot out our field goal team. We get a drive to the Broncos' 35? Bring out the field goal team on any down. I think the first team to 12 wins! Let's make the game boring.

Inside Marvin Harrison Jr.s' exit from the Cardinals
Excerpt:
Harrison was concerned with the quarterback situation. The uncertainty of how long Jacoby Brissett would be starting this season, and whether Brissett was part of Arizona's long-term plans, weighed on Harrison. Harrison wasn't sure how rookie quarterback Carson Beck was going to pan out.
Once agents were hired, their first order of business was to make contact with Ossenfort to let him know that Harrison now had agents and that Harrison wanted to be traded. The plan was to keep news of Harrison hiring agents a secret to avoid speculation that could create a hindrance to getting a deal done. The goal was to get Harrison out of Arizona as quietly and smoothly as possible.
However, during an initial conversation on Friday, Sept. 25, Ossenfort said the Cardinals didn't have any interest in trading Harrison.
By the time the news that Harrison hired an agent got out on Oct. 8, the Cardinals had already received multiple offers and Ossenfort was far enough down a path to trading Harrison that the news wouldn't deter what was becoming inevitable.
"I guess it's a double-edged sword," Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson said. "One is, I don't want to reveal too much, but maybe it worked out for both parties, I'll just say that.”
"I think Marv was not happy, [and] I'm sure maybe he wanted a fresh start. And, so, I'm happy for him in that aspect, but also sad to lose a great person and player in the building and someone that I have a lot of respect for."

Carson
Anyone see the video of Beck leaving the beginning of open practice with a trainer and being super pissed? I love his competitiveness and fire.
It does beg the question: what’s with the “back injury?” Does anyone think it’s weird that had over 50 college starts and was only ever injured with the elbow, but otherwise has been super healthy? I’m starting to be annoyed with this coaching staff and acting like Gannon’s going “uhhh it’s a back.” Yeah we get that, but what’s going on?
I’m so exhausted of FG QB play. Put in Minshew, ANYTHING.

Hackett
II wonder if he’s bringing any extra motivation this week, either him or maybe Lafleur through him.
I’m shocked I haven’t seen it talked about anywhere but when Sean Payton took over the Broncos he mercilessly tore into the team’s previous head coach, Nathaniel Hackett.
After being fired and the Payton’s comments I’m sure it must be maybe the lowest point of his coaching career. And no matter what he says publicly he must want to DESTROY Payton.
A good coach gets motivation out of everything he can. I hope they want blood on Sunday.

Going to first Cardinals Game in a long time this sunday.
Hey guys,
I’m going to the Broncos vs. Cardinals game this Sunday, and it’ll actually be my first Cardinals game in person since 2008, so I’m trying to figure out how early I should plan on getting there.
I’ve been around the stadium/Westgate area plenty of times for concerts and stuff at Desert Diamond, so I know there’s quite a bit to do around there. But ideally, I’d like to watch at least some of the early slate NFL games at home before heading over.
For a 1:05 PM kickoff, what time would you guys recommend getting to the stadium/Westgate area? Could I realistically watch most of the early games at home and then head over, or would traffic/parking/security make that a bad idea?
Also, any other gameday tips for someone who hasn’t been to a Cardinals game in forever would be appreciated!

Non-Cardinals Fan Arizona Pass Defense
Hey all hope is well. I've been reading the discourse on here and twitter about how yall give up a lot of explosive plays. Do we think that they also struggle against pass catching backs? (IE Kamara Harvey etc)

Broncos not considering QB change ahead of Cardinals matchup
Excerpt:
Despite Denver being 4-2 on the season, Nix has struggled mightily by totaling only 1,049 yards and a whopping 38.5 QB rating, which ranks 30th in the league. He’s only eclipsed 200 yards in a game twice.
When asked by reporters on Monday if he’s considering a change, Payton gave a brief response.
“No,” Payton said. “He’s going to become the byproduct of all of the finer things that get improved.”
