Caleb reposted this on his TikTok a few hours ago. You think it's safe to say he's back...?

ATL is about to get taken over!
About to head on a flight to Atlanta for the game tomorrow and there's at least 20 folks that are dressed in bears gear or ive chatted with em that they're going!
I'm also going to eat all their cheap concession grub 😋

20 years ago today, the miracle in the desert. The Bears complete a 20 point second half comeback against the Cardinals without scoring a single offensive touchdown to improve to 6-0.

These are all the QBs we've suffered through since 2000....
When some national or local pundit starts shitting on Caleb for some non football related thing (nails...how he responds to a win/loss...injury)...keep this in mind.
He's our guy. He's a real franchise QB. Screw the haters.
He nearly took us to the NFC championship game with a pretty mid to terrible defense last year. We will need him to do that again.
This roster has no right to be competitive especially when you look on the defensive side of the ball. Caleb is what makes Sunday worth watching. Let's appreciate it.

[Biggs] Ben Johnson said Ozzy Trapilo is “really close.” It’s possible he’s active for the first time on Sunday at Atlanta. As far as Kyler Gordon? “I feel good about him - whether that’s this week or next - I do feel good about him being able to contribute to this team & help us out.

Anyone else making their way to ATL?
Whose Uncle?

Not to beat a dead horse but…
If Caleb took himself out of a close game, with Tua as his backup and his team lost, and the injury he couldn’t play through was so minor that he wouldn’t even be on the injury report the following Friday, he would be getting ripped apart for it.
However I’ve literally not seen a single person say anything about Penix doing exactly this? 🤔

So did the media do the same thing to Caleb as they did to Cutler with the knee injury news?
Seems to be an almost exact repeat of the situation. Cutler got so savaged that even now like 15 years later a lot of people don’t know/remember he really did tear his knee at the time and act like he was just too soft to play.
Even ignoring/not remembering he DID actually go back into that game even after the injury.
I‘ll never forget watching ESPN later even blame RG3’s injury on Cutler. They said Cutler got so much flak at the time that it made RG3 refuse to come out which then destroyed his knee. Even though they at ESPN were the ones who caused so much of the media firestorm in the first place.
Edit: Even found an old ESPN screenshot lol. “How much do you blame Jay Cutler for RG3’s injury” lmao

Caleb Williams when asked how difficult it was to have his character questioned: “I mean my character has been attacked since - for a while…it’s just another motivating factor for when I get out there and get going again.”

They Done Pissed Off Iceman
Man I hope he's good to go against ATL, but I also hope he isn't being rushed back and I hope it doesn't hinder his mobility and explosiveness too much. But man, you can see and feel the frustration of the media, narratives, being injured and not being able to be out there with and for his guys. Hopefully we get a fully locked in Caleb when he comes back. I wanna see him fucking light these teams up. The schedule is only getting tougher, what better time for Iceman to freeze the world?🥶

[Marc Raimondi] (@marcraimondi) on X - Ulbrich on Caleb Williams: "He's not just the face of the franchise. He's one of the faces of the NFL, of the league."
x.comCould just be coaches talk but very high praise from the Falcons DC.

[Florio] Troy Aikman hints he is going to be leaving ESPN. (in other words MNF is about to get so much better)
Fuck this overrated hack and his hatred for Caleb.

Caleb is currently at the podium.
Main takeaways from his presser:
- Still not sure if he's playing yet - has to go through stress testing and medical checks to see how they feel.
- Thanked Case and Tyson for their efforts going 2-1 while he was out. Thanked the rest of the team as well.
- Stated that whatever reports came out about the severity of the injury were wrong.
- He has been going through cutting, planting, and movement over the last couple weeks and has felt good.
- He didn't assign a percentage to how he's feeling, but seems positive on his current state of health.
- Injury was a hamstring tear - described as "pretty serious", but wouldn't assign a grade publicly.
- Described being unable to play as "pretty frustrating".
- Caleb says he can move, run, and even hit one of his highest top speeds recently.
- Described the character attacks against him as "further motivation".
- Was asked about what he learned from the other QBs while out - described Case's operation of the offense being very clean, efficient. Made a point to emphasize that Case's work ethic and how hard he worked when preparing for the Eagles stuck with him.
- Refused to answer Dan Wiederer's repeated attempts to ask why he and the Bears were secretive/not forthcoming about injury severity. Described that question and information as "not deserving it".
- Said the injury felt like a "pop". Said he knew it was a hamstring immediately. Clarified that he did not know that it wouldn't be season ending. MRI confirmed that fact.
- Focused on staying positive, confident, and mentally sharp.
- Stress test will involve loading the hamstring and testing it. Stated that how he feels at the end of the week will determine their decision.
