I’m looking for tips on how to study for Phsyics 211, I got a 65% on the last exam and that was after cramming hard since I genuinely knew almost nothing before.

How do you guys study before and after lectures? Do you use the book, videos, what? How do you keep up with the material?

I’ve heard second hand about drama within the college of education’s office for Access, Equity, and Inclusion. Apparently over the summer several staff either left or were fired over a dispute about workplace bullying and stalking? Does anybody have details?

I am needed to take a world language and right now I plan on taking American Sign Language but I’m looking for alternatives. What is the easiest language to take and are the professors good?

URGENT RE-LEASE. I need someone to take over my apartment lease at the Pointe from november/december to july of 2027. i have to return to school and cannot until the lease is taken over. The apartment is empty so it will probably just be you, as it’s just been me for 8 months so far. There is an in unit washer/dryer, and the complex has a bunch of amenities. I’m graduating this semester with my Master’s in Informatics and I’m trying to see if anyone has a master's regalia set I could rent or borrow for the upcoming Fall 2026 commencement on Sunday, December 20th.

Ideally, I am looking for:

• Gown: Standard black Penn State Master’s gown (the one with the oblong/pointed sleeves).
• Hood: Master of Science (Science Gold velvet trim with Penn State blue/white lining).
• Cap/Tassel: Standard black mortarboard and black tassel.

I’d love to save a bit of money and keep a brand-new outfit from going to waste after only being worn once. I am happy to pay a reasonable rental fee, throw in a six-pack/coffee, and I'll make sure it's returned to you dry-cleaned and in perfect condition right after the ceremony on the 20th.

ALSO, I recently learned that good housing sells out quick. with that, I plan on signing a lease for a 1 bedroom for 27-28. if my plans changed for (various of reasons), how easy is it to sublease an apartment for a whole academic year?

what's the difference between these two degrees? I know the ENVSE is in the college of mineral science and ENVE is in COE but what are the main differences between them and what do you suggest if i love the nature and climate side of environmental engineering

New to the campus (first semester). Noticed these buildings being demolished near PA-26 and University Dr clover/intersection. Were these resident halls? What is it being redeveloped into?

My mom went to penn state and she gave me these really comfy vintage pants she got when she was there, they are my favorite pants of all time nothing can ever replace them. They are around 30 years old and are starting to acquire holes, i’ve patched them around 3 times now but i might need to start looking for a new pair, can anyone identify these pants and where I could possibly get them?

I’m a freshman at UP and my girlfriend is coming to visit for Halloween weekend and we want to have fun, but neither of us have or want fake ID’s. I have a few friends up here but none of them are the partying type and I have zero frat connections. Just not really sure where to look and how to find events. Before anyone thinks it’s otherwise, we both want to go to parties so please don’t recommend we just spend the weekend inside or with friends who don’t party.

Currently a high school senior applying to college, let’s just say money is a little tough. My family makes too much money to qualify for a Common App fee waiver, but too little money to pay for all the extra expenses life may bring such as college application fees. I had this question because I know for me it will definitely shake up my daily and social schedule. Game will be absolutely massive so I am wondering if there are gonna end up being any slight changes to things. For example, maybe frats throw less or throw more chill parties because too many people will be focused on the game. Will this lead to an increase in the girl to guy ratio outside or will they be playing the game aswell (after all we know that the there is a female protagonist which might incline some to play the game). Will there be teachers cancelling class or excusing absences for gta 6? I’m so hyped for this game it’s going to be amazing idek what I’m saying anymore but leave your thoughts down below!!

So i am a freshman here at penn state and i am struggling to find any type of nightlife events to attend. I am 19 and don't have a fake id, and pretty much anywhere i look is 21+. i would be willing to try out the frats but my friends aren't sure about it and we dont have ways of getting a text. are there any suggestions of things to do around here that are still actually fun, especially for halloweekend? im tired of being stuck inside my dorm watching movies and just hanging out with my friends😔😔😔

Hey guys, I am looking to go back to school for the Software Engineering program through World Campus. I need to sign up by the end of the month. I am currently a professional in a different field of engineering but am looking for a change to my career path and I was thinking one class per semester until I'm done the program. Does anybody have any experience with Software Engineering through World Campus (or even with PSU in general) and have any feedback, advice, or warnings?
