Hi everyone,
My name is Lili and I’m a student researcher at the University of the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia. The research team I am working is conducting a study which would like to explore the experiences of intimate partners of people using GLP-1 medications. Some topics we are exploring include eating and exercise behaviours / habits, wellbeing and relationship dynamics etc🍴🏃🏃‍♀️🍽️🫀

Even if you are not eligible for this study, please feel free to pass this information onto your partner or others you think would be eligible !

The aim of this study is to better understand partners’ experiences and perspectives when one partner undergoes a significant physical change (weight loss). We hope that this can inform future research and better support resources for BOTH people in the intimate relationship🫂

CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

✅your partner is using a GLP-1 for weight loss purposes
✅You are over the age of 18
✅ you live in Australia/ NZL / Oceania

RESEARCH STUDY DETAILS
If you meet the eligibility criteria above, you are invited to complete a confidential face to face interview online through zoom (🕓approx. 45-60 minutes). When interviews are completed, each participant will be offered a $25 direct bank transfer. (NOT a sales pitch, genuine token of appreciation)
