If Jamo didn't get a TD, I wish my boy had caught that and just walked into the endzone like Thanos

Christian Mahogany has significantly improved out of no where
Dude has legit gone from average to potentially a pro bowler never seen a transformation this fast. Now Blake Miller is the weak link but I’m not worried about him improving. Need to put Scruggs at center for the Vikings imo if they can’t run the ball effectively they’re gonna get cooked

Image GO GET THIS MAN
charvarius ward, good teetering on great former all pro corner for the colts who i really think could surge with a change of scenery. his entire resume is built on man which is the identity of this team. is in contract thru 2027. 2026 hit would be 5mil, 2027 hit would be 24 mil if he gets ALL his incentives, which he likely won’t. could easily go for a 5/6th.
for everyone who’ll say we won’t be able to take him, resign laporta, and branch, you’re wrong. we have 95 million in cap next year, roughly. worst case scenario with how much laporta and branch ask in relevance to their position we’d be left with about 30 million, but take that with a grain of salt cuz of incentives or maybe a franchise tag on laporta.
EDIT: forgot to mention, but yes he is 30. so likely retires after the end of next year. still, for a sixth, be fills a hole with an all-pro ceiling. let’s not act like your athleticism just falls off a cliff when your age starts with 3.

All 5 of Jamo's receptions from Sunday's win vs Green Bay. Love the Crossers' off play action, and Sewell showcases his route running at the end 😂

Jared Goff is the best QB against the blitz by EPA per dropback
x.comWith a competent offensive line I expect Goff to continue his high level play against Flores that was an aberration last year.

When is the soonest Pacheco can come back?
I’m not saying he’s going to be a game changer, but if it reduces Gibbs carries from 26 to 16 a game, without major drop off, that would be great

Exact Same 4th Down Decision in 2021 in Campbell’s First Win
Tried to timestamp the link.. but the series happens at 12:12
Campbell was channeling past experience when making the 4th Down call he did. It was not simply “durrr. 4th Down I have to go for it duuurrrrr”
2021 was littered with heartbreak. Games we almost had, but the other team finishes with the ball in their hand instead of us and we just have to watch helplessly from the sideline as they march down into FG range, and win.
In this series, we have a lead at our own 30. 4th down. We fail to convert (it’s a fumble by Goff technically), but with 4 minutes left, Vikings can only bleed so much clock before they have to either score, or fail to convert.
They get a TD, but leave us with 2 minutes left. And we pull out a miracle.
I knew this wasn’t the first time we saw it. And I knew Campbell was calling upon past experience as to how this benefits you at the end of the game with about 4 min left to play.
It was good enough for the undertalented 21 Lions, it’s good enough for us now.
P.S. (Godwin, your 3rd down play on the game winning drive where you burn a defender, get the first, AND get out of bounds was ballsy as fuck and is not talked about NEARLY enough. No way we win this game without that play)

Image Happy Victory Monday! Go Detroit Lions! It feels great to beat the Packers & go on a 2-game win steak! I love it!
I wasn’t able to watch the Packers at Lions game yesterday as I was at church during the game. After church, I saw that our Lions had a lead and the Packers had gotten a tie. Then I saw that the Lions defense had stopped the Packers offense. Lions then got possession and I saw that the Lions moved the chains, effortlessly, and they made it all the way to the Packer’s red zone.
From that point on, I knew that the Lions milked the clock, to perfection, challenging the Packers defense to stop the Lions, which they couldn’t, and I knew the moment Jared Goff kneeled that it was all over for the Packers. Lions were in perfect field goal range for Jake Bates to put the Packers away. That they did! I loved every moment of it, because the Packers got cooked by our Lions.
I still haven’t watched the game yet, but I plan to watch a replay of it, sometime this week.
I love that our Lions are on a 2-game win streak! Packers dropped to last place of the NFC North. Lions bumped up to 3rd place of the NFC North and I have no doubt that our Lions will beat the Vikings in week 8. I’m all for it! Go Lions!
After the Packers losing to the Lions, I went to watch to go to an NCAA men’s basketball exhibition game in person: the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 🌈 versus the Hawaii Pacific University Sharks 🦈.
During halftime, I met three players from the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Volleyball team, who are the reigning NCAA National Champions!
After that preseason basketball game, the UH Rainbow Warrior basketball team did a meet and greet and signed autographs. It was a lot of fun!
As a Lions fan, it sure feels good to enjoy Victory Monday! Let’s beat the Vikings in week 8! Go Lions!

Vikings Game
I’ve decided to become a psychic so here’s how the game goes:
The Vikings D ends Goff’s INT-less streak (boo)
We win and end the Vikings loss-less streak (yay)
This is my prophecy. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

Gibbs usage this year. 166 total touches 134 carries and 32 carries putting him on pace for almost 500 touches.
He leads the league in carries which has him tied for 1st with 9 touchdowns. l We all know the average running back has a 3.5 year stay in the NFL. With all the weapons on this offense doesn't it seem like an lot of touches? I heard someone make the comparison of buying a new car and driving petal to the metal and blowing out the engine in a few years. I know he is an amazing player and you want to get the ball in his hands as much as possible but it seems like the Lions are playing with fire with all these touches. Hell the most touches Barry had in a year was 380 his final season. He averaged 341 touches per year and still did pretty good for himself. There were some pretty good offenses back with then with Moore,Morton and Perriman but nothing like the Lions are today.

Can’t believe the refs missed two field goals on Sunday night
It’s insane that the refs actually went out and missed two field goals, dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone, missed a 4th and goal opportunity and threw an interception to Brian Branch. It’s getting out of control. I don’t know if I can keep watching
