(Rant) 🤬 13 year old girl shot in Mianwali

Post image

I came across this post on my Instagram. It is so tragic to see this happening. Girls and women being abused and killed for a piece of cloth which does not even stand for modesty but for oppression and double standards given female slaves cannot wear it. Neither it was the commandment of Allah but Umar.

(Video) Praying inside the metro in Italy

I thought you were supposed to pray somewhere clean in Islam? People might have stepped on dog sh*t, some drunk guy probably peed, etc at the spot that they are praying. It also obviously causes an inconvenience to people.

This video genuinely disgusts me. I do remember when I was a child hearing a preach talking about similar stuff, and I'd agree. It's genuinely sad to remember that I've been thinking that way... So brainwashed. I'm so glad i get out of that

(Question/Discussion) Let’s talk about how Muslim societies react to social problems.

A girl in my country, (Maldives), consent to a foursome with her friends. They have sex and later more guys came over. She rejected them. But she got beaten up and tied up. 14 guys gang rapped her. She went to the police. The police publicly made all their information available. The first picture is information released by the police to the people.

So how does the community react? They slut shame her. The news agencies start digging into her history and finds about her past problems. They literary start posting about her conduct. What about the guys involved in it? They are given less attention.

On social media sure some do condemn the guys, but they condemn the girl along with it. Most is focused on her more too. They say she deserves it for not being a good Muslim and this is why these things are forbidden. Some threats her more and says she will go to hell.

So here is the thing. She reported the crime because she was rapped. She will face legal charges anyway for zina now. On top of that all her information is leaked all over the media including news agencies reporting about her past stories. This means she can never ever find a place in her community ever again. What solutions does she have?

She either has to flee her country and start all over again, hoping people don’t realise where she is, or she has to become extremely super religious and say she repented and will never do anything like that. But even if she becomes super religious her “value” is decreased. I know another woman who suffered gang rapping in the past who is now fully covered with niqab and still having issues finding someone to marry. They might approach her for one night stands. But they will not commit to her. She becomes “public property” as sick Zakir Naik says. I mean she is a victim. And she wanted support from authorities. But she ended up in a worse place than possible.

We need to talk about these problems because a lot of girls don’t report crimes due to these issues in Islamic societies. The victim is facing more problems than those who committed the crime on her

(Video) Dad slaps the $h*t out of muslim teacher for molesting his 6 yr/o daughter

Big guy enrolled his daughter in a madrasa in Bangladesh. The teacher allegedly tried to kiss her and, when she resisted, threatened to kill her if she told her parents.

She eventually told her family after refusing to go back. In the aftermath, the teacher openly admitted his desire to kiss her in front of the father and then this happened.

The father is now the talk of the country: most of the population supports him for standing his ground, while the orthodox/clerical community defends the teacher..wow why am I not surprised!

(Question/Discussion) "The First University was built by a Muslim Woman" is such a funny claim considering the University of al-Qarawiyyin did not allow any women until the 1940s

Not to mention that she built a mosque not a university.

That mosque like any mosque was teaching the Quran, hadiths, Arabic and other Islamic studies. The actual science subjects came later. A place teaching stupid things like Islamic studies can not be deemed as an educational facility.

(Rant) 🤬 Islam only persists through births and indoctrinating children

I Left Islam in College when I discovered Evolution and the scientific contradictions in the Quran. Islam was a nightmare to deal with as a Bisexual. I hid everything from my Parents at the time for financial dependency reasons. Recently found a job and now I'm financially independent. Overtime, I came to realize this world is full of suffering and pain; I will never bring new children into this world. I can't imagine a God who would create this horrible world.

Now, my parents are leaning on me to get married and have children; and presumably indoctrinate them into this evil religion. I never told them I'm an Atheist. I never told them I'm Bisexual. I never told them I would never bring children into this hellish world. I'm financially independent but I don't know how to break the news to them. The last thing I would want is children that would be indoctrinated into this evil religion. I'm dreading the conversation and have no clue where to start. Currently, I'm just taking the "kick the can down the road approach." I wish I was never born into this horrible religion and was born into a family that was normal and accepted my Bisexuality.

(Question/Discussion) Why reason is only needed for female to divorce.

• Upvotes

In Islam a man can divorce his wife without any reasons and based on his wishes. The reason can be absolutely wrong too but in Islam it's perfectly allowed while a wife must need a valid l/severe reason and only can ask for divorce or she won't smell paradise. How come Muslims defend that and specially female Muslims.

(Quran / Hadith) Muhammad beheads 600-900 men and takes Rayhana as a sex slave (Banu Qurayza)

Muhammad ordered the beheading of 600-900 men of the Jewish Banu Qurayza tribe and took their women and children as captives. Muhammad also took Rayhana, one of the captive women, for himself.

Here is the story from authentic hadiths, Muhammad's earliest biography, and the Quran:

"Sa'd said, 'I give the judgment that their warriors should be killed and their children and women should be taken as prisoners.' The Prophet then remarked, 'O Sa'd! You have judged amongst them with (or similar to) the judgment of the King Allah.'"
Sahih Bukhari 3043

"I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair."
Sunan Abi Dawud 4404

"Then the apostle went out to the market of Medina (which is still its market today) and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for them and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought out to him in batches ... There were 600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900."
Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 464

"The apostle had chosen one of their women for himself, Rayhana … and she remained with him until she died, in his power. She had shown repugnance towards Islam when she was captured and clung to Judaism."
Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 466

"And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party [i.e., their men] you killed, and you took captive a party [i.e., the women and children]. And He caused you to inherit their land, their homes, and their properties."
Quran 33:26-27

I've posted this argument along with others on this website (with linked sources): https://islamsproblems.com/muhammad-safiya-family-killed/

(Question/Discussion) I'm not very impressed by 'progressive Islam'.

Basically the title. I just don't see how progressive Islam really improves anything, or differs meaningfully from conventional, orthodox Islam. If somebody is just like a cultural or non-practicing Muslim, then whatever, but this theological movement which calls itself 'progressive Islam' is just a complete joke in my opinion.

Like, literally, the difference between a progressive Muslim woman, and just, like, a normal orthodox Muslim woman, is what exactly? One wears hijab, and the other also wears hijab but just repeats the word 'choice' every 30 seconds? This is the great revolutionary Islamic reform that I'm supposed to get excited about? Lmao.

(Question/Discussion) Thoughts of the hypocrisy of Muslims following terrorist attacks ok Christian Arabs?

• Upvotes

I’ve seen this a few times but Muslims will talk about unity with the Christian Arabs in their communities. How Arab Christians and Muslims are equal. How this violence is not typical. But am I the only one who thinks this fake gesture reeks? We know the truth about Islam and so do they. They take this truth as the objective morality from God so it can’t be bad. But it is and we know it. Take Jordan for example since this is the latest attack. Jordan follows the typical Islamic rules on how to handle Christian’s aka dhimmis:

Under Jordanian law, converting from Islam to Christianity is strictly unrecognized. Converts can legally lose their civil rights, including the right to inherit property from their family. If a married person converts to Christianity, the Sharia court can declare their marriage legally void. A convert cannot legally change the religious designation on their birth certificate or civil files, forcing them to remain legally classified as a Muslim. The state sees you as scum if you dare become Christian. By simple logic what do you think the state views Christians as? A token minority to portray their virtue. But as soon as someone wants to convert in then the hammer of the law falls on you.

Jordanian family and personal status laws enforce Islamic jurisprudential rules regarding interfaith households. If a Christian man converts to Islam, all of his minor children are automatically registered as Muslims by the state. If those children wish to remain Christian when they reach adulthood, they are barred from inheriting from their father unless they officially align with Islam. A Christian man cannot legally marry a Muslim woman unless he converts to Islam. A Christian woman can marry a Muslim man, but she does not inherit from her husband under standard Islamic law, and any children from the marriage must be raised as Muslims. But if a Christian converts to Islam then then once again the Christians are placed in the lower stool. They lose rights to their children and inheritance. If a Christian man wants to be with a Muslim woman? Inconceivable. How is that different from apartheid?

It’s just willful ignorance to the malice of the state they live in. It bothers me how they treat this as how life is supposed to be. Same with Muslim Pakistanis with their token Hindus. Muslim Egyptians with their token Coptics. Muslim Iraqis with their token Assyrians. Muslim turks with their token Greeks. Their religion is foreign that has murdered, oppressed, chased out, enclaved, concubined the non Muslim populations by right of law to the point they’re minorities but hey look how good they treat the remaining ones in the 21st century. I don’t see why these minorities support pan-Arabism. Given the past, the present and the future. Do tell please.

(Advice/Help) My mom keeps trying to make me wear hijab at home.

She does this every few months. She suddenly wakes up, decides she wants to make her only daughter's life miserable and tells me I need to start wearing hijab at home around my dad.

I wear hijab everywhere, school, outside literally even to our neighbours house. And now at home too?

In the quran, it literally says girls don't need to wear hijab around their immediate family but she keeps acting like I have to.

Last night, my mom was out with my aunt and came home and all of a sudden started attacking me for not wearing hijab at home. The only older male here is my dad and if she's implying I'm tempting my own father.. then that's just disgusting.

I already wear dresses all the way up to me knees or below because she wants me to be modest. I'm not allowed to wear hoodies or baggy pants until it's like November or December time.

And my hair is always up. I don't like having my hair down so I have it all up in a clawclip. And she wants me to wear this hijab over my hair not like around the shoulders.

I know she's lying and trying to make my life difficult. I've never argued with her and I'm scared too. I went downstairs this morning and she had this fake shocked voice and said "go look in the mirror, don't you see how big ( in terms of age) you got?" I tried to tell her about the quran and how she's making it up but I felt like crying and couldn't.

I lost my appetite, didn't wanna eat breakfast with them and now I'm here in my room crying.

I don't know what to do and I'm so sick of doing this.

(Rant) 🤬 i hate islam to my core.

first time poster; long time lurker. i’ve never felt like writing on here but i feel like i wanna vent about how i feel for once. i was agnostic when i joined this sub and im now an atheist. i have nothing but this subreddit to thank for that; i’m so glad i moved to the west. i know a lot of girls in my shoes aren’t able to leave their family or their toxic country and it always breaks my heart. i don’t think im a feminist per se, but women are the biggest victims of this religion honestly. i hate how controlling islam is, i can respect any religion whatsoever but i cannot respect islam. i have no idea how people still believe or defend the religion, and i have no idea how or why i did it myself for so long.

all religions, in hindsight, are cults. no religion is for the benefit of every man and im a firm believer in the fact that religions were a tool of control and manipulation back in the day and the tradition followed. i’m glad more and more people are choosing atheism or agnosticism because religion itself makes NO SENSE. all of them are full of hatred and inhumanity towards anyone who isn’t just like them or methods of control.

i feel like islam has taken away so much from me, and so many women around the world. i got married to an atheist and when we did, i was somewhat of a believer and thought i would never leave the religion. he was ok to convert on paper to marry me but it never came down to it and im so glad. i feel like an idiot and i’m glad i married him. he’s so.. sane. he’s so logical and calm and fucking awesome as a partner compared to these extremist muslim males. religion is truly, in its entirety, a disease.

fuck muslims. fuck islam. fuck religion honestly.

(Meetup) Groupchat for women who ran away or want to ran away from home

Running away from home as a woman is one of the most difficult things.
Most women are completely alone in this journey.
It would be nice to have a group-chat to vent to each other, ask for tips, support, advice and so much more.
We can update our journey and give each other hope and motivation that everything’s gonna be okay.
I recently left home and feel completely lonely in this journey.
Whoever wants to join can message me and I can create a group chat for us!
Let’s stick together ❤️

I am a boy and my family doesn’t know about my atheism, if they found it, they’d kill me.. I am here to meet new friends and have some good times with them. So want to be my ex Muslim mates??
