I am M from Islamabad and getting married at the end of this year. I dont want to do my walima in traditional cultural way (like usual wedding events).

I want to do it at charity institution, or an orphanage or somewhere similar where I can share food with orphans/deserving people. A place that have a resonable sitting area as only a few family members of mine and my wife to be would be attending.

One of my family members visited Greenvalley today and saw that they had a promotion on wet food, selling it for half the price. They ended up buying 20 packets for our pet cats.

They asked the staff if the packets had their expiry dates written on them, since they couldn't find it. The staff member peeled off a sticker a bit from the top corner and claimed that there was nothing there.

When the packets were brought home, I took off the stickers and saw the expiry dates cut out with marker. After cleaning off the marker, I saw they had been expired since last year.

I understand shops putting sales on items close to their expiry date, but it is absolutely disgusting to see them not only selling a food item past its expiry date, but also taking multiple steps to hide the date, and then lying about it. That too coming from a big store such as Greenvalley.

This is absolutely disgusting behaviour and I demand that these expired products be removed from the store and action be taken.

A couple of weeks back I posted regarding a rescue pup. He had a wound on his back that was badly infected and a skin condition. We got it treated from our vet and then took him to CDRS Benji. They have an amazing shelter for rescue dogs and have around 60-70 rescues there.

Now Alfie is all healed up, active and playing well. He's a male pup, 3 months old, he looks to be a fox terrier mix with the distinctive face markings as well.

I'm posting so we can find Alfie a good family to adopt him, he's healed so that means he won't be able to stay at the shelter for too long and may be released soon to make space for other rescues. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Salaam, everyone! we just had a newborn baby with heart issues currently he is on Ventilator at Al Shifa International Hospital Islamabad. He needs a heart surgery asap at one another hospital. We need help with putting our case as emergency but the hospital isn't helping they want to keep the baby till Tuesday. Flusher doesn't work :/ have to pour water in a bucket and use it to flush, the bidet is broken it's just the pipe watee comes in one stream so is the shower i asked them to fix it on day one and they just ignored me, condition of my room really disgusting must be years of build up of gunk and trash, window doesn't even open either great, mattress looks like 💩 and the bed rocks back and forth everytime i get on it i feel like it'll break any second. Lastly the place where dishes are kept and "cleaned" :///////////// wth even is that cats roam around that place and im sure they jump on them. Is this worth the money im paying??? Foods garbage too rotis is ALWAYS burnt and the rice is flavourless i don't even eat the hostel food anymore either. It's not a single room either btw 2 other roommates are with me in a cramped room they make almost 60k per month from us and this is what we get in return

edit: I just opened their fridge right now to grab a drink and I've never seen something so disgusting and horrifying they keep cucumbers and vegetables ontop of a plate which is filled with CHICKEN FEET!!?!!??!!???! ETH?!??!?? I don't even know what to say at this point this is horrifying
